The cross member that mounts and supports the rear part of the power unit as described above is usually attached at both ends to the flat part of the floor on both sides of the floor tunnel section via an elastic material such as rubber, and this elastic material directs the power unit vibration to the floor panel side. However, the floor tunnel portion has low rigidity against loads in the vehicle width direction and low mechanical impedance. Therefore, increasing the rigidity of the floor tunnel to make it difficult for the floor tunnel itself to vibrate is effective as a measure to reduce vehicle interior noise. However, when trying to improve the rigidity of the floor tunnel, It is necessary to harden the elastic material interposed in the mounting part to the panel to create a connection that is almost rigid, but in this way it is not possible to absorb and reduce the transmission of power unit vibration to the floor panel. In addition, in order to sufficiently absorb the transmission of power unit vibrations to the floor panel, the elastic material inserted at the joints to the floor panel at both ends of the cross member should be as soft as possible, and the cross member should be in a floating state relative to the floor panel. If this is done, a problem arises in that the cross member hardly contributes to increasing the rigidity of the floor tunnel section.

4 is a first cross member, 5 is a second cross member, and the second cross member 5 has a central portion protruding upward from mounting portions 51, 51 at the left and right ends to form a platform-shaped cushion mounting portion. The first cross member 4 has mounting portions 41, 41 at the left and right ends that substantially match the mounting portions 51, 51 of the second cross member 5, and the first cross member 4 has mounting portions 41, 41 at both ends.
The first cross member 4 has a substantially U-shaped planar shape with a connecting portion 42 that rigidly connects the first cross member 4 to the first cross member 4 at both ends of the first cross member 4.
When the both end attachment parts 51, 51 of the second cross member 5, whose upper and lower surfaces are sandwiched by elastic members 6, 6', are superimposed on the lower side of the connecting part 4 of the first cross member 4,
2 and the cushion mounting portion 52 of the second cross member 5
are arranged so that they are approximately parallel to each other in the front and back.

Fit the sleeve 7 into the center hole of the elastic members 6, 6', insert the bolt 8 therein, and tighten both the cross members 4, 5 together with the bolt 8 to secure the floor tunnel portion 2. The rear part of the power unit 3 is mounted and supported on the table-shaped cushion mounting portion 52 of the second cross member 5 via the cushion 10 by tightening the brackets 9 fixed to both sides.

Then, both ends of the first cross member 4 are rigidly connected to both sides of the floor tunnel section 2, and the first cross member 4 is connected rigidly to both sides of the floor tunnel section 2.
The cross member 4 improves the rigidity of the floor tunnel section 2 and increases its mechanical impedance, and the vibrations of the power unit 3 are accurately absorbed by the cushion 10 and the elastic members 6, 6', and the vibrations are absorbed by the floor panel 1. The transmission to the sides is significantly reduced, and the respective functions of both cross members 4 and 5 can significantly reduce the noise inside the vehicle.

Furthermore, in the present invention, the central portions of both cross members 4 and 5 are arranged in parallel in the front and back as described above, so that, for example, the exhaust pipe 11, etc. disposed below the cross members 4 and 5, Not only can a sufficient installation space be taken for the mounting parts 41, but also the cushion mounting parts 52 of the second cross member 5 are located at the rear of the first cross member 4 as shown in FIG. With reference to the front attachment points a and a of the second cross member 5, as shown in FIG. It is possible to move only the support point at the rear of the power unit 3 forward, and support for different types of power units can be easily done without changing the body side mounting part.
This has the advantage that the height of the cushion mounting portion 52 of the cross member 5 can be arbitrarily selected regardless of the height of the first cross member 4.

In the illustrated embodiment, the cushion 10 connects the mounting member 101 to the cross member 5 side and the mounting member 102 to the power unit 3 side with an elastic material 103 such as rubber, and prevents excessive displacement of both the mounting members 101 and 102. Although the cushion 10 has a structure including stoppers 104 and 105 made of an elastic material to restrict the movement, the cushion 10 may be of any conventionally known structure other than the one shown.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to satisfy both of the two demands of improving the rigidity of the floor panel and reducing the absorption of transmission of vibration from the power unit side to the floor panel side, thereby significantly reducing cabin noise. It has a simple structure, is lightweight, can be made compact, is advantageous in terms of space and cost, and can easily accommodate multiple types of power units, as well as connect both cross members with bolts. Since it is configured to be attached by co-tightening, it can produce many valuable practical effects such as extremely easy assembly and disassembly operations.
