The cross member that mounts and supports the rear part of the power unit as described above is usually attached at both ends to the flat part of the floor on both sides of the floor tunnel section via an elastic material such as rubber, and this elastic material directs the power unit vibration to the floor panel side. It is generally designed to absorb and reduce the transmission of

However, the floor tunnel portion has low rigidity against loads in the vehicle width direction and low mechanical impedance. Therefore, increasing the rigidity of the floor tunnel to make it difficult for the floor tunnel itself to vibrate is effective as a measure to reduce vehicle interior noise. However, when trying to improve the rigidity of the floor tunnel, It is necessary to harden the elastic material interposed in the mounting part to the panel to create a connection that is almost rigid, but in this way it is not possible to absorb and reduce the transmission of power unit vibration to the floor panel. In addition, in order to sufficiently absorb the transmission of power unit vibrations to the floor panel, the elastic material inserted at the joints to the floor panel at both ends of the cross member should be as soft as possible, and the cross member should be in a floating state relative to the floor panel. If this is done, a problem arises in that the cross member hardly contributes to increasing the rigidity of the floor tunnel section.

Then, both end portions of the first cross member 4 are rigidly coupled to both side portions of the floor tunnel portion 2, which significantly improves the rigidity of the floor tunnel portion 2 and increases its mechanical impedance.
Both end portions of the cross member 5 are floatingly supported by elastic members 6, 6 on both end attachment portions 41 of the first cross member 4, and the upper surface of the central cushion attachment portion 52 of the second cross member 5 is supported by elastic members 6, 6. 1 facing upward from the through hole 41 of the cross member 4,
A cushion 10 is mounted on the upper surface of the cushion mounting portion 52.
By mounting and supporting the rear part of the power unit 3 through the cushion 10 and the elastic members 6, 6', the vibrations of the power unit 3 are accurately absorbed by the cushion 10 and the elastic members 6, 6', and the transmission of the vibrations to the floor panel 1 side is greatly reduced. In combination with the increased rigidity of the floor tunnel portion 2 by the first cross member 4, it is possible to significantly reduce vehicle interior noise.

As described above, the present invention satisfies the two needs of improving the rigidity of the floor panel, increasing the mechanical impedance of the floor panel, and reducing the absorption of vibrations transmitted from the power unit to the floor panel. The structure is simple, lightweight, and compact because the first and second cross members are stacked and combined in two stages, one above the other. Not only does it not take up much space and is inexpensive, it also allows both cross members to be attached together with bolts, making assembly and removal extremely easy. , which can have many excellent practical effects.
