て、 前記温度勾配を有する環境内に配置され、前記
液晶セルの光透過状態に基づき該液晶セル内の液
晶の配向状態を検出する配向状態検出手段と、 該配向状態検出手段で検出された配向状態に応
じて前記熱処理の条件を適宜制御する制御手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする液晶セルの配向熱処理
