The former continuous wet papermaking method has the advantage of producing mineral fiberboard with high bending strength;
The surface has the disadvantage that it has no pattern and is poor in cosmetic properties. Therefore, a moth-eaten pattern is formed on the surface by embossing, etc., but since it is applied mechanically, the pattern is unnatural. In order to create a more natural pattern, it is necessary to combine various processes.

On the other hand, according to the latter paste method, a large number of natural-looking pores are obtained on the surface of the fiberboard, and it has excellent cosmetic properties, but the mineral fiberboard obtained by this method has a low bending strength. There is a problem that the size is small and continuous production is not possible.

Therefore, if a pattern is formed by a paste layer on a fiber substrate obtained by the former continuous wet papermaking method, a mineral fiberboard with high mechanical strength and good design should be obtained. Since the viscosity of the paste used in the paste method is extremely high, it is difficult to form the paste layer integrally on the surface of the fiber substrate, and it has to be manufactured separately and then integrated. There were problems such as requiring time and effort and not being able to carry out continuous production.

(Object of the Invention) The present invention was made in view of the above problems, and by combining it with a mineral fiber wet mat obtained by a continuous wet papermaking method, it is possible to increase the mechanical strength and improve the surface appearance. The present invention provides a method for producing a mineral fiberboard that can continuously produce a fiberboard having an aperture pattern with an excellent natural shape.

(Structure of the Invention) In order to achieve the above object, the method for producing a mineral fiberboard according to the present invention is to prepare a wet mat of a desired thickness using a paste-like material obtained by kneading mineral fibers with an appropriate amount of water. By rubbing the surface of this wet mat with a roll whose roll surface is partially formed to have different frictional resistance and partially shifting the surface layer of the mat, travertine-shaped openings are formed in the surface layer of the wet mat. It is characterized by forming a pattern.

This paste is applied as a wet mat 2 of a constant thickness on a wet mineral fiber paper mat 1 obtained by continuous wet paper making using a conventional method using a known means such as a circular net or Fourdrinier machine. Stack.

The paste forming this wet mat 2 has a higher water content and is adjusted to have a lower viscosity than the paste used in the normal paste method. This is because when the viscosity of the paste is high, the amount of water contained in the paste is small, so the adhesion between the paste and the paper mat 1 decreases, making it difficult to layer them together. If the water content is too high, the paste layer tends to collapse, making it difficult to form a wet mat 2 on the paper-made mat 1, and even if it can be formed, it will have a natural-looking opening called a travertine pattern, similar to that produced by the paste method. This is because the pattern cannot be obtained.

As mentioned above, the mineral fiber paste whose moisture content has been adjusted is applied to the surface of the paper mat 1 while the paper mat 1 is being transported, and after being installed as a wet mat 2 of a constant thickness, A large number of moth-eaten opening patterns 4 are formed by sliding the surface of the wet mat 2 with a roll 3 rotating at a circumferential speed different from the transport speed of the mat to shift the surface layer.

In this case, if a roll with a uniform surface condition is used over the entire circumference, the displacement of the surface layer of the wet mat 2 will be approximately uniform and the opening pattern will be directional.

In order to make the opening pattern uniform and to eliminate the directionality, the roll surface is processed so that the frictional resistance is partially different. A roll with a surface formed thereon is used.

When the roll 3 formed in this way is rotated and brought into sliding contact with the surface layer of the wet mat 2 being conveyed, the moving speed of the surface layer of the mat being rubbed and the lower layer not being rubbed is different, and the surface layer becomes the surface layer. It is torn from the weak portions at multiple locations, forming a staggered pattern 4 that opens diagonally upward. In this case, separation is likely to occur in the surface layer of the mat that is rubbed by areas with large frictional resistance, but even in areas of the same size, same shape, and same frictional resistance, the pressing force of the roll 3, the thickness of the mat, the paste viscosity The pattern formed will differ due to the variation in the number of openings, and therefore, even the pattern created by the rubbing of the roll 3 will not be uniform, resulting in a natural-looking opening pattern 4.

In addition, by providing such frictional resistance portions in the length direction and circumferential direction of the roll 3,
The directionality of the opening pattern 4 is also eliminated, and a random pattern can be formed.

As a means of changing the frictional resistance of the roll surface that rubs against the mat surface, there is a method of partially applying chrome plating to the steel roll surface to lower the resistance, or a method of partially knurling or granulating the steel roll surface. There are methods such as applying processing to increase the resistance, and applying different materials such as rubber to the surface of the steel roll to make the resistance different.By combining these methods on a single roll, various types of resistance can be achieved. It is also possible to create an opening pattern.

In this way, various opening patterns can be formed on the surface layer of the pine that is rubbed by the resistance parts, depending on the size of the frictional resistance on the roll surface, the size of the shape of the different resistance parts, the direction of the resistance parts with respect to the roll, etc. , Moreover, uneven thickness of matte and uneven viscosity of paste,
Due to variations in fiber density, etc., the patterns obtained differ even when rubbed on the same part of the roll, and therefore,
The uniformity and directionality of the pattern disappears, resulting in a natural pattern.

Since the obtained mineral fiberboard has a raised part 5 formed by the rubbing of the roll around the opening of the staggered pattern, it may be ground by sanding or the like to make the surface flat as necessary. ,Remove.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the method for manufacturing a mineral fiberboard according to the present invention involves forming a wet mat of a desired thickness using a paste obtained by kneading mineral fibers with an appropriate amount of water; Since the surface of this wet mat is rubbed by a roll whose surface has a partially different frictional resistance, the surface layer of the mat is randomly scraped up by the rubbing of the roll, causing a large number of scratches. In addition, since the roll surface is formed with partially different frictional resistance, differences in the size, shape, direction, and direction of the resistance areas, as well as the pine surface layer, can be formed. Due to the synergistic effect of the condition and density of the parts, the large number of openings are formed into shapes with various shapes, sizes, depths, and directions, creating a travertine-like pattern with a natural sense of shape. It is possible to obtain a mineral fiberboard having the following properties.

In addition, the pattern can be formed from the mineral fiber mat using a roll in a series of steps, making continuous mass production possible.
