本発明は陸生の有害甲殻動物の駆除剤に関する
ものであり、更に詳くは、一般式

有害甲殻動物駆除剤に係るものである。
陸生の有害甲殻動物、特にダンゴムシ等の甲殻
動物類は、陰湿な場所に樓息し、畑地、温室、庭
園、家屋、青果貯蔵所等のいたるところに出没し
て、諸種の植物類の茎葉、果実、根茎、木材等を
舐食し、多大なる損害を与えている。また、台所
等の湿気ある場所に侵入する場合がある。これに
対し、従来より、種々の誘引剤が使用されている
が、充分な効果をあげ得ない欠点がある。
本発明者等は、陸生の有害甲殻動物であるダン
ゴムシ等の駆除試験を行つた結果、本発明に係る
化合物が駆除効果の極めて高いことを認めた。即
ち本発明の一般式にて示される化合物は、ダンゴ
ムシ等の接触後、短期間のうちに殺滅させること
を認めた。
本発明の一般式に係る化合物は、工業用殺菌剤
として塗料、製紙、切削油、冷却用水素等の場面
において防菌、防黴を目的として、その用途が開
発されている。しかしながら、本発明化合物は陸
生の甲殻動物の駆除作用についての開示は未だみ
られない。
本発明の薬剤は以下に記す如く、種々の形態に
製剤することができ、地形、天候、面積等に影響
をうけることなく容易に処理することができ、ま
た、効果の確実性および効果発現迅速性等の点か
ら実用上極めて有用である。
前記一般式にて示される2−メチルイソチアゾ
リン−3−オン化合物としては、5−クロロ−2
−メチルイソチアゾリン−3−オン、2−メチル
イソチアゾリン−3−オン等が挙げられ、また、
これらと金属錯塩を形成せる金属塩としては、塩
化亜鉛、塩化マグネシウム、塩化カルシウム、硝
酸マグネシウム、硝酸カルシウム、塩化鉄、硫酸
マグネシウム、硫酸銅等が挙げられる。
本発明化合物は、実際に使用するにあたつて、
原体そのものを散布してもよく、通常の製剤の如
く、乳剤、粒剤、水和剤、ペースト、スプレー、
水溶剤あるいは発泡剤などとしても使用できる。
又は、補助剤、例えば展着剤、乳化剤、湿展剤、
固着剤等の界面活性剤を混用して効果の確実を期
することは勿論よい。目的によつて他の殺菌剤、
殺虫剤、除草剤又は肥料等と混用して同時に処
理、施用することも可能である。麦皮、蛋白質生
成物、カゼイン、乾燥酵母及び精油の如き天然及
び合成誘引剤と組合せて誘引性駆除剤とすること
もできる。
実施例 1
鉢もの植木育成場に樓息中のダンゴムシを供試
して散布試験を行つた。
本発明化合物を水で所定濃度に希釈し、小型噴
霧器を用いてダンゴムシの体によくかかるように
散布した。1区10頭とし3区反復した。調査は処
理後24時間目に生きているものの頭数及び死亡し
たものの頭数をかぞえた。試験期間中の気温は20
