Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve analyzing accuracy by expediting a synchronization between an electrolyte measuring apparatus and a biochemical analyzer by increasing the sample suction time of the electrolyte measuring apparatus by integral times of the analyzing cycle of the biochemical analyzer. CONSTITUTION:Existences of an electrolyte measurement and a biochemical analysis are investigated when a sample is carried into a prescribed position. A sample in a suction position of a sample suction mechanism 400 of an electro lyte measuring apparatus 300 and a sample in a suction position of a sample suction mechanism 600 of a biochemical analyzer 500 can be recognized from a label information read by a sample carrying measure 200 and a sample- carrying hysteresis by the measure 200 in a controlling element 100 at this time. The analyzing cycle can be prolonged by integral times of the analyzing cycle of the biochemical analyzer 500 in the same time when the sample suction time is increased by integral times of the analyzing cycle of the biochemical analyzer 500 in the electrolyte measuring apparatus 300. The synchronism can be obtained even if the analyzing time in the electrolyte measurement is pro longed by this.

When the pump 62 is operated, the first reagent 63 is heated and then introduced into the measurement valve 40, and the sample liquid is pushed out into the hole 44b of the rotating member 43 having a fixed volume.
It is introduced into the reaction tube 51 at position A. A means for stirring the sample-first reagent mixture is placed at a position intermediate between position A and position B. In this position, the top of the reaction tube is evacuated and air (or any other desired gas) is introduced into the reaction tube. Since the air becomes bubbles in the liquid and moves upward, the sample liquid and the first reagent introduced at position A are thereby well stirred and the reaction is promoted.

In contrast to the automatic biochemistry analyzer, which measures the amount of GOT, GPT, etc. in serum and plasma by colorimetric measurement by reacting them with reagents as described above, electrolyte measuring devices measure the amount of GOT and GPT in serum and plasma using, for example, the ion-selective electrode method. It measures Na'', K'', and Cl-1 degree in plasma.

Electrolyte measuring instruments generally employ a method of diluting a sample to a certain ratio with a diluent for the following reasons. That is, in an electrolyte analyzer, since the sample has a high concentration, if the sample is introduced and measured at the same concentration, the electrodes will be contaminated and deteriorate to a large degree. Therefore, it is necessary to perform thorough cleaning. Furthermore, the longer the entire channel system is, the larger the amount of sample used will be.

Furthermore, since semi-solid components such as proteins and lipids are included and volume errors occur, measurement errors become large. For this reason, diluted samples are used.

However, when attempting to combine an electrolyte measuring device and an automatic biochemical analyzer into a single device to configure a series of sample aspiration systems, an electrolyte measuring device has only a single analysis line, whereas an automatic biochemical analyzer has only a single analysis line. Since the analyzer has multiple analysis lines, it is necessary to synchronize them, which causes various problems.

In the case of a certain electrolyte measuring machine, there is only a single analysis line, so if the sample is aspirated, diluted, measured, and washed as shown in Figure 6 (al), the analysis time is 54 seconds.
This becomes the analysis cycle.

In general, with electrolyte measuring instruments, it is customary to increase the measurement accuracy by measuring the electrode potential multiple times, and in this case, the difference between the first and second values from the two measurements is the set value. The measurement ends when the value is within the range.

On the other hand, for example, in the case of a biochemical automatic analyzer having 96 analysis lines, if each analysis line is sampled for 6 seconds as shown in FIG. 6(b), the analysis time is 576 seconds. The analysis cycle will be 6 seconds.

If the electrolyte measuring device and automatic biochemical analyzer described above are to be integrated into a single device and analysis is to be performed using a series of sample supply systems, the analysis cycles of both must be synchronized. Therefore, conventionally, in the case of the example shown in FIG. 6, the analysis time of the electrolyte measuring device was fixed at 54 seconds for synchronization. For this reason, it was not possible to increase the accuracy of analysis by increasing the number of measurements with an electrolyte measuring device, instead of limiting it to two measurements, until the difference between the previous measurement value and the current measurement value was within the set value. . If the difference between the first and second values is greater than the set value, you can repeat the measurement three or four times until the difference from the previous measurement falls within the set value. There is a problem that it becomes necessary to make the length longer, resulting in a lot of wasted time.

Another problem is that it is difficult to perform the same processing when the sample is blood or urine because the latter has a higher concentration. Therefore, electrolyte measuring instruments are prepared according to each sample. Therefore, there is a problem in that the equipment cost also increases.

In the analyzer line control system of the present invention, the sample suction time and analysis cycle of the first analyzer are set to be an integral multiple of the sample suction cycle of the second analyzer, and the analysis cycle of the first analyzer is set to the second analyzer. Since the sample aspiration cycle of the first analyzer can be extended by an integral multiple, synchronization can be achieved even if the first analyzer is extended. Therefore, the number of measurements can be increased with the first analyzer, and the number of washing steps can also be increased, which improves measurement accuracy, allows samples with different properties to be analyzed, and sets washing steps according to the sample. be able to.

Similarly, it is a rotary type valve consisting of a stator S on the upper side and a rotor R on the lower side in the figure. By moving (rotating) the rotor R in the left-right direction in the figure, the lower opening of the dilution cell 5 connected to the stator S side is opened at A on the rotor R side.
It has a switching position that is selectively connected to the BSC, and switches between stirring, transferring, draining, etc. of the diluted liquid. The four-way change valve 13 connects the dilution system and the measurement system,
It performs switching, and is configured to cut off the flow path from the dilution system during measurement.

Weighing of the sample starts with the dilution system filled with diluent, so the operation for setting the initial state will be explained. In the illustrated position of the pump change valve 9, the diluent tank 30 communicates with the sampling pump IO and the dilution pump 11, and the other line Bl of the dilution pump 11 is blocked, so that the sampling pump IO1! The diluent is sucked from the diluent tank 30 by the suction operation of the illusion pump 11 . Therefore, after suctioning the diluted liquid, the rotor R of the pump change valve 9 is shifted to the left in the figure, and the line Yl on the rotor R side is connected to the line Y3 of the stator S. In this state, the line Yl connected to the other side of the sampling pump IO is closed on the stator S side of the pump change valve 9. Therefore, the diluent is discharged from the line Y3 to the sampling pipette 2 side through the dilution valve 4 by the discharge operation of the sampling pump IO. Thereafter, the pump change valve 9 is returned to its original position and a suction operation and a similar discharge operation are performed again, so that the dilution system is evacuated and filled with diluent, which is further discharged from the sampling pipette 2. Therefore, by setting the sampling pipette 2 to the cleaning jar 3 side, the cleaning jar 3 is also filled with the diluent.

First, the sampling pump 10 performs a predetermined stroke suction operation with the sampling pipette 2 positioned in the space, and then performs a similar suction operation in the order of the sampling cup 1, the space, and the cleaning jar 3. As a result, the line from the sampling pipette 2 to the dilution valve 4 contains diluent-air-sample-air-diluent at a volume corresponding to the suction stroke of the sampling pump IO. The reason why both sides of the weighed sample are insulated from the diluent with air is to prevent the sample from diffusing into the diluent due to direct contact between the sample and the diluent.

Next, the dilution valve 4 moves the rotor to the right in the figure and connects the line on the stator side to which the sampling pipette 2 is connected to the line Y2 on the rotor side, and the pump change valve 9 moves the rotor to the right side in the figure. Move to the right in the figure and connect the rotor line Y1 and the stator line Y2. Then, the sample is set in the line Y2 between the dilution valve 4 and the pump change valve 9 by the suction operation of the sampling pump 10.

Thereafter, the dilution valve 4 is moved to the illustrated position, and the pump change valve 9 moves the rotor to the left in the figure to connect line B1 on the rotor side and line Y2 on the stator side, and the dilution pump The sample and the diluent are introduced into the dilution cell 5 by the discharge operation of step 11. In this case, since the amount of diluent introduced into the dilution cell 5 is determined by the discharge stroke of the dilution pump 11, for example, when diluting 20 times, the sampling pump 10
Assuming that 10 ml of diluent is weighed in step 1, the discharge stroke of the dilution pump 11 is determined so as to introduce 190 ml of diluent into the dilution cell 5.

When the sample and diluent are introduced into the dilution cell 5, the dilution valve 4 moves the rotor to the left in the figure, opens the mixing air valve 7, and agitates the inside of the dilution cell 5 with pressurized air. When the stirring is finished, the dilution valve 4 moves the rotor further to the left in the figure and connects the bottom line of the dilution cell 5 to the four-way change valve 13 side. The diluted sample is connected to four lines, and the waste liquid pump 26 is operated to transfer the diluted sample to the flow cell 23 and introduce it into the ion-selective electrode 21. First, once the sample is transported to a predetermined location, it is checked for electrolyte measurement and biochemical analysis. At this time, the control unit 100 controls the sample suction mechanism 400 of the electrolyte measuring device 300 based on the information on the label read by the sample transport means 200 and the sample transport history by the sample transport means 200.
The sample at the suction position of the biochemical analyzer 500 and the sample at the suction position of the sample suction mechanism 600 of the biochemical analyzer 500 can be recognized. Therefore, if both of the IDs and analysis items are "present," the electrolyte measuring device 300 and the biochemical analyzer 500 are respectively instructed to start the analysis along with the analysis items. Based on this instruction, the electrolyte measuring device 300. Each biochemical analyzer 500 has a sampling cup 80.
Perform predetermined sample aspiration from 0 and perform analysis. Then, wait for the completion of electrolyte measurement and biochemical analysis before moving on to transporting the next sample.

Note that the electrolyte measurement is completed when the suction of the sample into a single analysis line is completed, which is an integral multiple of the analysis cycle of the biochemical analyzer 500. Furthermore, the biochemical analysis is completed when the suction of the sample to the analysis line corresponding to each analysis item is completed. Therefore, if the sample suction time of the electrolyte measuring device 300 is 12 seconds, then the sample will be taken after 12 seconds, and if the analysis cycle of the biochemical analyzer is 6 seconds and there are 10 analysis items, then the sample will be taken after 60 seconds. After determining the completion of the electrolyte measurement, the completion of the biochemical analysis is determined, so for example, if the analysis item of the biochemical analyzer is 1, the next sample is transferred 12 seconds later, and if it is 3, the next sample is transferred 18 seconds later. However, electrolyte measurements begin after the analysis for the previous sample is completed. This is because, as mentioned earlier, the electrolyte measuring machine does not have a single analysis line, so if the analysis time, that is, the analysis cycle, is, for example, 54 seconds, the sample cannot be aspirated until this cycle is completed. be.

In an electrolyte measuring device, the present invention makes the sample suction time an integral multiple of the analysis cycle of the biochemical analyzer as described above, and extends the analysis cycle (analysis time) by an integral multiple of the analysis cycle of the biochemical analyzer. This makes it possible to maintain synchronization even if the analysis time in electrolyte measurement is extended.

The first case is when the number of measurements is increased in order to improve measurement accuracy. In electrolyte measurement using the ion-selective electrode method, it is customary to measure the electrode potential multiple times to improve the quality of the data. In order to obtain the minimum analysis time of 54 seconds, for example, two measurements are performed, and the measurement is terminated when the difference between the first and second values is within the set value. However, if the difference is greater than the set value, the measurement is repeated a third and fourth time until the difference between the two successive values falls within the set value.

The third case is when measuring an external standard solution. In this case,
Above 1. Unlike the second case, the possibility of sampling errors makes it necessary to repeat the basic analysis cycle again, and the sample is transferred in a 54-second cycle instead of a 12-second cycle. The conditions for this repetition are determined based on whether the measured value is within a set value by comparing it with the previous measured value.

Furthermore, since the concentration of urine is higher than that of blood, there is a problem in performing a mixed analysis of urine and blood when considering electrode sensitivity calibration and line cleaning. In the present invention,
Since the analysis time can be extended, it is now possible to perform a mixed analysis by increasing the number of washes for blood, and by doubling the washing cycle when the sample is urine compared to, for example, blood. With the electrolyte measuring device that uses the 54-second blood analysis cycle described above, by extending the analysis time by 12 seconds to 66 seconds, it is possible to use the device that normally measures blood to handle urine as a sample as well. becomes.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the analysis cycle of the electrolyte measuring device is extended by an integral multiple of the analysis cycle of the automatic biochemistry analyzer, so that the electrolyte measuring device and the automatic biochemistry analyzer can be continuously connected. This makes it easy to synchronize sample supply, and it is also easy to increase the number of measurements to improve analysis accuracy. Furthermore, even if the number of times the electrolyte measuring device is washed is increased, the analysis cycle corresponding to that time can be extended, so blood and urine can be processed in the same system by increasing the number of times the electrolyte measuring device is washed.
