Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the irregular and mass sticking of paper deliverd due to paper end connection failure or cut paper by providing a brake on a support shaft for supporting a winding paper, and holding the winding paper so that the adhesion part of the winding paper in waiting position is situated on the lower side. CONSTITUTION:A driving device for accelerating and rotating, in a waiting position R, a support shaft 4 for supporting winding paper in a paper ending position P, a simple slow-operating device of the same structure as a brake device acting on the support shaft 4 for controlling the tension of the winding paper in the paper ending position P and a winding paper device position Q, and the brake device are provided, and further, a sensor for detecting the paste part of an adhesion part is installed. When the winding paper is rotated by the slow-operating device, and an automatic cut position and an adhesion part (m) formed by hand work are detected by a sensor, the winding paper is further rotated to move the adhesion part (m) to a lower side position, and braked by the brake device to fix and hold this position. Thus, paper delivered from a winding paper A due to paper end connection failure or paper at the time of cut is hardly adhered to the adhesion part (m).

FIGS. 1 and 2 show a paper feeder having three arms for a newspaper rotary press. This paper feeding device consists of a main shaft 2 which is rotatably supported by the bearings of a pair of Y-shaped aircraft legs 1, and a pair of main shafts 2 which are engaged with the main shaft 2 in the rotational direction and are slidably attached in the axial direction. 3 arms 3. It is composed of a support shaft 4 provided at the tip of each arm of the 3 arms 3 and a paster arm 5 for paper splicing, and each arm of the 3 arms at 1206 intervals is approximately It sequentially moves to the paper splicing position P, the web mounting position Q, and the standby position R every 120 degree rotation. Further, a web is mounted between the support shafts 4 of each pair of arms.

FIG. 1 shows that paper is fed out for printing from the web A at the paper splicing position P immediately after the paper splicing in FIG. 2 is completed, and when its diameter is reduced to a predetermined diameter, the three arms 3 rotate. A state in which the reduced number of paper rolls A has been moved to the paper roll mounting position Q is shown.

At this time, the web B, which was in the standby position R in FIG. 2, is rotated to the splicing position P. Roll paper A further reduced in diameter in this state
is spliced onto the web B, and the spliced web A becomes a residual core and is removed, and a new web C is attached. FIG. 2 shows a state in which this paper splicing has been completed and a new web C has been installed.

In the conventional autoloading system (fully automatic web loading system), the adhesive part m (see Figure 5) of the skin of the web tailored by the automatic tailoring device faces upwards, and in this state the paper feeding device Since it is automatically attached to the three arms, the adhesive part faces upward. In addition, even when it is done manually, the adhesive portion m is generally provided facing upward. (To facilitate workability).

In addition, when the brake is not applied in the standby position, due to the eccentricity of the center of gravity of the roll paper itself, the roll paper rotates due to gravity so that its center of gravity is downward about the installation axis of the roll paper, and as a result, the adhesive part m It is possible that the position of the device may move relative to the position when worn.

If paper splicing failure or paper breakage occurs during splicing in the paper feeding device, the surface layer of the paper that has unraveled from the paper roll A will be irregularly and lump-like (sticky) on the adhesive part of the paper roll B in the standby position. )
It will stick and the paper roll will be damaged. Not only is there a lot of wasted paper, it also takes time to recover.

In general, in the case of a large-diameter web, the time the web is in the standby position is long, and if foreign matter or paper dust adheres during this time, it becomes a major factor in failure of paper splicing. In some cases, the adhesive part is attached to the paper joint edge of the outer surface of the web using automatic tailoring equipment or by hand, and the protective paper is left on the adhesive part without removing it to prevent paper dust from adhering. At the standby position, this protective paper must be peeled off for splicing at the next splicing position. At this time, if the glue side of the adhesive part is facing upward, the above-mentioned problem will occur.

To prevent paper splicing or paper breaks fed out from a roll of paper that has failed in paper splicing from running incorrectly and sticking to the adhesive part of the skin of the paper roll of the next or adjacent paper feeder, Direct the adhesive part of the web paper downwards during standby.

For this reason, the position of the adhesive portion of the paper roll in the standby position is detected by a sensor or the like before the paper roll is rotated. Alternatively, the position can be recognized when the winder is installed. When a bonded part is detected, the web is rotated so that this part is on the underside of the web.

Furthermore, when the adhesive part comes to the lower side, a brake is applied to the support shaft of the web.

Since the adhesive part of the paper roll faces downward in the standby position, there is almost no possibility that the paper cut or paper cut out from the paper roll that has failed in splicing will stick to the paper roll. Furthermore, since foreign matter and paper dust are less likely to adhere to the bonded portion during standby, paper splicing defects (due to poor adhesion) due to these foreign matter do not occur.

Furthermore, since the brake is applied to maintain the downward position, the adhesive portion will not rotate upward due to eccentricity of the web.

The adhesive part m (double-sided adhesive tape, tip tab, etc.) of the paper roll B attached to the arm in the standby position R of the three arms 3 (see Fig. 5) is the same as shown by the broken line. It is located at the bottom of the web. In addition, solid line adhesive part m

At the standby position R, there is a drive device that accelerates and rotates the support shaft 4 that supports the web at the splicing position P, and a support shaft 4 that controls the tension of the web at the splicing position P and the web mounting position Q.
A simple type slowing device and a brake device having a structure similar to that of the brake device that acts on the vehicle are provided. Furthermore, a sensor is attached that can detect the adhesive surface of the adhesive part. (Both devices are not shown as they are publicly known.) The web is rotated by the slowing device, and when the sensor detects the adhesive part m created by the automatic tailoring device or manually, the web is further rotated. The adhesive part m is moved to the lower position indicated by the broken line, and the brake is applied with the brake device to keep it fixed at that position.

Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the paper shown by the dashed line drawn out from the web A where the gyotsugi has failed, or the paper when the paper is cut, almost never adheres to the adhesive portion m.

In addition, it is also possible to manually turn the adhesive part downward in the standby position, apply the brake, and then release the brake just before the paster.

When one of the three arms or two arms of the paper feeding device is in the standby position, the adhesive part of the web attached to this arm is directed downward, so that the web that has failed to be spliced can be fed out. This eliminates the need for irregularly and clumped sheets of paper or broken paper to stick to the adhesive portion of the web at the standby position, and it is no longer necessary to redo the paper splicing preparation work.

Additionally, if a sensor detects the adhesive part, moves the adhesive part to a lower position, and applies a brake to fix it at this position, the web may rotate due to eccentricity of the web or external factors, and the adhesive part may It can automatically prevent it from turning upward.
