対の基板間に、シール材によつて囲まれた空間を
形成し、この空間内に液晶が封入される液晶表示
素子において、 シール材に関して前記空間の外方で、基板相互
間に、前記シール材を介在して、コード化された
識別表示部を形成することを特徴とする液晶表示
