2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a pressure receiving diaphragm of a pressure sensor having a double diaphragm structure made of metal such as SUS as shown in FIG. 2 has been known. Since the pressure receiving diaphragm 101, which is the pressure receiving portion of the pressure sensor 100 having the double diaphragm structure, is made of a very thin metal such as SUS, it is deformed by a slight force and its characteristics are changed. Further, since the pressure-receiving diaphragm 101 has a structure that is exposed to the outside as can be seen from the figure, the diaphragm 101 may be damaged during transportation, storage, attachment, or the like. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, the cover 103 for protecting the diaphragm is attached to the upper portion of the pressure sensor main body 102 from the time of manufacturing to the end of the attaching work by using an attaching O-ring (not shown).

However, the cover for protecting the diaphragm requires a work of removing it from the pressure sensor main body after the mounting work is completed, which requires extra labor and is troublesome. The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and an object thereof is to provide a protective cover for a pressure sensor that can completely protect a diaphragm and does not need to be removed.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a vertical sectional view of a protective cover of a pressure sensor according to the present invention. The protective cover 2 of the pressure sensor 1 has a housing shape, and an upper portion 3 thereof is provided with a small hole 4 having a small area. A flange 6 is formed on the open lower surface 5 so as to project outward over the entire circumference. The flange portion 6 and the upper portion of the pressure sensor main body 7 are fixed to each other by welding or the like to integrally form the protective cover 2 and the pressure sensor main body 7, and the protective cover 2 covers the diaphragm 8 which is the pressure receiving portion of the pressure sensor 1. .

The protective cover of the pressure sensor according to the present invention comprises:
Since the protective cover is attached to the pressure sensor main body 7 at the time of manufacturing with the above-mentioned configuration, the diaphragm 8 is never exposed to the outside, so that the diaphragm 8 is not damaged or deformed during transportation, storage, attachment, or the like. There is no danger of giving. Moreover, since the small hole 3 is provided on the upper part,
It can also function as a damper that responds to surge pressure.
