That is, a cylindrical coating cylinder 3 is rotatably provided side by side on an ink pan 2 containing the ink 1, and lower portions of a peripheral surface 4 and a side surface 5 of the coating cylinder 3 are immersed in the ink 1. Has been done. Further, the peripheral surface of the coating cylinder 3 is the peripheral surface 4
A doctor blade 6 for scraping off the unnecessary ink 1 adhering to the coating cylinder 3 is arranged, and a back roll 8 for moving the film 7 slidingly contacting the peripheral surface 4 of the coating cylinder 3 at a constant speed is arranged. The back roll 8 and the coating cylinder 3 are each driven in the direction of the arrow by a drive mechanism (not shown).

It is necessary to continuously perform the work of stirring the ink 1 in order to prevent the precipitation of a specific component of the ink 1 contained in the ink pan 2 and to make the component distribution in the ink pan 2 uniform. ..

The area in the ink pan 2 where the stirring operation can be performed is limited to the front side A or the rear side B of the coating cylinder 3. In addition, since the film 7 is stretched on the rear surface side B, the stirring work cannot but be performed on the front surface side A.

When the ink is reciprocated along the front wall 2a of the ink pan 2, the ink 1 in the region α extending from directly below the coating cylinder 3 to the front wall 2a is agitated by the agitator 9. Area β over 2b
The ink 1 of No. 1 stays without being stirred. At this time, the ink 1 in the region β first adheres to the peripheral surface 4 of the coating cylinder 3 due to the rotation thereof, and continues to the region α.

It is in the state of being attached to No. 4. The ink 1 in the region β is in a state of staying without being stirred as described above, and is in a state in which a specific component is precipitated or the component distribution is not uniformed. Therefore, the ink 1 in the area β is the film 7
In the transfer foil as a product, the quality of the transfer layer formed by the ink 1 applied to the film 7 becomes uneven and the quality of the transfer layer is uniform over the entire surface. It wasn't something you could get.

The ink present is agitated. Further, since the stirrer is driven only in one direction in the ink, the stirred ink flows and circulates in one direction in the ink pan. Therefore, the ink adheres to the peripheral surface of the coating cylinder in a state where the ink in the specific area does not stay in the ink pan and the components are uniformly distributed.

Also, in the ink agitator that agitates the volatile ink 1, the explosion-proof property can be completely ensured.

The ink inside was agitated. Therefore, the ink stirred between the peripheral surface of the coating cylinder and the edge of the ink pan can flow and circulate in one direction in the ink pan.

As a result, in the transfer foil as a product, the quality of the transfer layer formed by the ink applied to the film can be made uniform over the entire surface. Moreover, since the stirrer is driven by using air, the explosion-proof property can be completely ensured. Therefore, while ensuring the explosion-proof property, the quality of the transfer layer is constant over the entire surface. Can be manufactured.
