However, simply providing an opening in the roof panel does not substantially expand the interior space of the vehicle. Therefore, in order to obtain a cabin space according to the number of passengers, we developed a structure in which a movable roof unit consisting of a roof, a rear window, and a rear pillar is attached to the vehicle body so that it can slide forward and backward.
The present applicant has previously filed an application (Patent Application No. 58-186393)
issue).

Now, it can be troublesome. In other words, for example, when getting into the rear seat or loading luggage into the rear seat, you must first operate the open/close switch on the driver's seat before entering the rear seat. This causes the inconvenience of having to do so. This is especially noticeable when there is no driver in the driver's seat.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a movable roof control device for a motor vehicle that can be moved.

Corresponds to forward rotation in the opening direction of the other power supply end 14
When a positive voltage is applied to the b side, this corresponds to the reverse rotation of the movable roof unit 2 in the closing direction. Note that only when the trunk lid 6 is fully closed, the fully closed detection switch 44 is closed and the motor 1 is closed.
4, movable roof unit 2 becomes possible.
The solenoid 22 can be energized only when the movable roof unit 2 is in the fully closed position, and the trunk lid 6 can be opened. Interference with the movable roof unit 2 is prevented.

As a result, the coil 48a is demagnetized, the relay contact 48b is opened, and the rotation of the motor 14 is stopped (the movable roof unit 2 is stopped at the half-open position).

Both TR 2 are conductive, and as a result, the coil 48 is connected again.
a is excited and relay contact 48b is closed. Therefore, after this, open/close switch 1 is turned on again.
When the contact piece 13b of No. 3 is switched to the close terminal 13f side, the motor 14 is reversely rotated and the movable roof unit 2 is driven to the fully closed position, as in the case from the fully closed position to the half open position described above.

Coil 48a of circuit 48 is energized and relay contact 48b is closed. Therefore,...
When the first contact piece 13a of the open/close switch 13 is switched from this state to the open terminal 13e side, the current flows to the changeover relay switch 47c, the trunk lid fully closed detection switch 44, the motor 14 (power feeding end 14a to 14b), and the power relay 46.
The flow passes through the contact piece 46d of the open/close switch 13, the second contact piece 13b of the open/close switch 13, and the relay contact 46a of the power relay 46, and the motor 14 is rotated in the forward direction, driving the movable roof unit 2 in the opening direction (rearward). In the case of driving in the opening direction, the current is temporarily stopped by the control circuit 48.
Since the current does not flow through the relay contact 48b, the movable roof unit 2 does not stop at the half-open position but continues to be driven to the fully open position.

As a result, the current passes through the limit switch 31 and the push switch 38 (after the push switch 38 is opened, it passes through the self-holding relay contact 47b without passing through both switches 38).
The rest of the procedure is the same as when opening the movable roof unit 2 described above, and the movable roof unit 2 is driven to the fully open position. Of course, when the movable roof unit 2 reaches the fully open position, the roof rear end detection switch 43 is opened and the power supply to the motor 14 is stopped.

Therefore, the coil 46a of the power relay 46 is excited,
When the relay contact 46b is opened, the contact piece 46d of the changeover relay switch 46c is switched to the second contact terminal 46f. Therefore, after the current flows to the contact piece 46d of the power relay 46 and the motor 14 (from its power supply end 14b to 14a), the current flows in the same manner as in the case described above, and the motor 14 is rotated in the reverse direction. The movable roof unit 2 is driven in the opening direction.

After this, once the open switch 24 is opened and then closed again, the relay contact 48 is turned on by the conduction action of the two transistors TR 1 and TR 2 as described above.
b is closed, the movable roof unit 2 is driven to the fully closed position. Of course, if the open switch 24 is closed when the movable roof unit 2 is fully closed, the trunk lid 6 will open as is.

Furthermore, when entering the rear seat, the push switch 38 can be used, for example, if the push switch 38 is within the reach of the hands and feet of the person attempting to enter the rear seat.
It can be provided at an appropriate position such as the back of the rear fender 7, the inner wall surface of the front end of the rear fender 7, etc. Also, by eliminating this push switch 38, the seat back 30
The movable roof unit 2 may be configured to be driven rearward immediately when the roof unit 2 is folded forward.

The movable roof unit is controlled in the direction of opening by folding the front seat back forward, which is always done when entering the rear seats. This eliminates the need to operate an open/close switch, improving the usability of this type of vehicle.
