(57)【要約】 （修正有） 【目的】引出し可能な転倒保護要素を、中央車両部分
に、しかも自動車の搭乗室の可及的に充分外側に固定す
る。 【構成】それぞれの車両側部に設けられ、下降された位
置から支持状態の面に高く上げることができ、この支持
状態に固定することができる、自動車の転倒保護要素に
おいて、それぞれ少なくとも１つの転倒保護要素３，４
が、ほぼ車両縦方向Ｉに延びて車体の両側に設けられ、
車両側壁７，８内の下降位置Ａに下降されることを特徴
としている。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、それぞれの車両側部に
設けられ、下降された位置から支持状態の面に高く上げ
ることができ、この支持状態に固定することができる、
自動車の転倒保護要素に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】ドイツ連邦共和国特許第３９２５５１５
号公報から知られているように、堅固なルーフを後部に
備えていない自動車に転倒保護弓形要素が設けられ、こ
れによって、車両が、転覆時にエンジンボンネットまた
は補強されて構成された風除けフレームに支えられて転
がり、したがって搭乗者室が充分に維持され、自動車の
転覆時における車両搭乗者の負傷が防止される。車両重
量の支持を保証するには、転倒保護弓形要素を特に車両
搭乗室の内部の車両搭乗者の近くに設ける必要がある。
これは例えばスペースの関係から実施することが不可能
であるため、転倒保護弓形要素を後部に前部支持装置と
同様に鎖錠によって特に堅固に設ける必要がある。
【０００３】自動車の外観が転倒保護弓形要素によって
損なわれないようにするため、転倒保護弓形要素を自動
車のへりの下まで降下させ、希望によって、または必要
のために、その上に高く突出した作動位置に上げること
が知られている。これに必要な駆動装置を設けることに
よって、さらに、後部の方へ傾斜した座席の後方に転倒
保護弓形要素をほぼ垂直に設けることによって、スポー
ツタイプの車両の場合、搭乗者およびその後部のトラン
クルームが簡潔にされており、そこに固定された転倒保
護弓形要素によってスペースが一層切り詰められるた
め、転倒保護弓形要素を設ける場合、問題になる。転倒
保護弓形要素を前部座席の後方の車両横方向に設けるこ
とによって、その後方に後部座席を設けることができな
くなる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の基本的な目的
は、上位概念に記載の引出し可能な転倒保護要素を、中
央車両部分に、しかも自動車の搭乗室の可及的に充分外
側に固定することである。
【０００５】
【課題を解決するための手段】この目的は、特許請求の
範囲請求項１の特徴部分に記載の構成によって達成され
る。
【０００６】車体の両側のほぼ車両縦方向に並べられた
転倒保護要素が、車両搭乗室の外部の車両側壁にあるス
ペースを有効に利用している。同時に、転倒保護要素お
よびそのガイドによって、車両側部が側面衝突に対して
補強される。転倒保護要素を転倒保護弓形要素として形
成する場合、高く旋回可能な脚部を公知の機構によって
車両側壁に鎖錠可能かつ旋回可能な転倒保護弓形要素を
備えるか、または車両側壁と平行に高く上げることが可
能な転倒保護弓形要素を車両側壁内に納めることができ
る。
【０００７】車両の転覆時に大きな負荷が生じた場合
に、転倒保護弓形要素が車両横方向に折れ曲がることを
防止するため、車両縦方向に延びる中央部材から車両横
方向に分岐し同一の車両側壁に支持される補助脚部を有
する転倒保護弓形要素を設けることができる。

【実施例】本発明の２つの実施例が図に示されている。
【０００９】この図は、上方が開かれた自動車１の部分
を斜視図で示している。自動車１が転倒した場合に座席
２の搭乗者（図示せず）を保護するため、自動車１は、
面を上に張る曲げられた転倒保護弓形要素３、４を備
え、これは希望に応じ、必要時に、駆動装置５（図には
概略的に示されている）によって、低い位置Ａから自動
車１のへり６の上の支持位置Ｂの面に高く上げることが
できる。これら２つの転倒保護弓形要素３、４は、車体
両側のほぼ車両縦方向Ｉに並べて設けられ、降下された
位置Ａにおいて車両側壁７および８内に降下される。
【００１０】この図では、それぞれ異なる構造の２種類
の転倒保護弓形要素３および４が示されている。
【００１１】転倒保護弓形要素３はＵ字状をなし、その
側脚部９および１０を駆動装置５によって車両側壁７と
平行に高く上げることができる。転倒保護弓形要素３が
支持位置Ｂに達したとき、脚端部が公知の機構によって
車両側壁７に鎖錠される。
【００１２】転倒保護弓形要素４はＶ字状に曲げられ、
一方の脚部１１が軸受１２において車両横方向ＩＩに延
びる軸のまわりに旋回可能に車両側壁８に固定されてい
る。Ｖ字状の転倒保護弓形要素４を高く旋回させること
によって、他方の脚部１３が公知の機構によって車両側
壁８に鎖錠される。
【００１３】別の脚部１４が転倒保護弓形要素４から車
両横方向ＩＩに分岐して延び、その自由端部が同じ車両
側壁８において軸受１２に支承され、これによって第１
の脚部１１、１３が車両横方向へ折れ曲がることが防止
される。

Claims (6)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 それぞれの車両側部に設けられ、下降さ
    れた位置から支持状態の面に高く上げることができ、こ
    の支持状態に固定することができる、自動車の転倒保護
    要素において、 それぞれ少なくとも１つの転倒保護要素（３、４）が、
    ほぼ車両縦方向（Ｉ）に延びて車体の両側に設けられ、
    車両側壁（７および８）内の下降位置（Ａ）に下降され
    ることを特徴とする、自動車の転倒保護要素。
  2. 【請求項２】 転倒保護要素（３、４）が転倒保護弓形
    要素として形成されることを特徴とする、請求項１記載
    の自動車の転倒保護要素。
  3. 【請求項３】 転倒保護弓形要素（４）の脚部（１１）
    が、車両横方向（ＩＩ）に延びる軸のまわりに、軸受
    （１２）において旋回可能に車両側壁（８）に固定さ
    れ、他方の脚部（１３）が、転倒保護弓形要素（４）の
    支持位置（Ｂ）に達したとき、車両側壁（８）に鎖錠可
    能であることを特徴とする、請求項２記載の自動車の転
    倒保護要素。
  4. 【請求項４】 車両側壁（７）と平行に転倒保護弓形要
    素（３）を高く上げることができ、転倒保護弓形要素
    （３）の支持位置（Ｂ）に達したとき、両方の脚部（９
    および１０）を車両側壁（７）に鎖錠することができる
    ことを特徴とする、請求項２記載の自動車の転倒保護要
    素。
  5. 【請求項５】 別の脚部（１４）が転倒保護弓形要素
    （４）から車両横方向（ＩＩ）に分岐して延び、その自
    由端部が同じ車両側壁（８）に支持され、これによっ
    て、車両横方向（ＩＩ）への第１の脚部（１１および１
    ３）の折れ曲がりが防止されることを特徴とする、請求
    項２ないし５のいずれかに記載の自動車の転倒保護要
    素。
  6. 【請求項６】 転倒保護要素（３、４）が降下された位
    置（Ａ）において、車両側壁（７、８）のへり（６）の
    高さで終ることを特徴とする、請求項１ないし５のいず
    れかに記載の自動車の転倒保護要素。
