This type of liquid fuel combustion apparatus includes the following:
A fuel supply part is attached to the horizontal annular passage that swirls and mixes the fuel and primary air. The outer periphery of this annular passage receives heat from the combustion section and serves to vaporize the fuel discharged into the annular passage. As shown in the above publication, the conventional fuel supply part is composed of a sleeve-shaped holder whose base is formed as a mounting part and whose tip is formed in a nozzle shape, and a needle that is integrally provided in the center line direction within the holder and sprays fuel from its tip, and the tip of the needle protrudes slightly beyond the tip of the holder to ensure smooth spraying of fuel.

In some cases, the flow of fuel fluctuated, leading to pulsating combustion and the generation of smoke and CO.

A fine needle-like object such as the above-mentioned needle 6
When the cut surface 7 is provided, the liquid such as water or fuel that seeps out to the cut surface 7 side in the A direction through the passage 6a is moved to the cut surface due to surface tension as shown in the liquid 9 in FIG. When the movement of the liquid in the A direction is large, for example, when the excess medicine in the syringe is released from the syringe needle, the liquid that comes out to the cut surface not only spreads due to surface tension, but also the force of the release. It is known that the liquid 10 in the figure is discharged in the direction B, which is the cutting direction of the cutting surface 7.

It consists of a needle that is integrally installed in the direction of the center line, cut diagonally, and injects fuel from the tip that is housed in the holder, above the horizontal annular passage that swirls and mixes the fuel and primary air. The needle is mounted such that the oblique cut surface of the tip of the needle faces downward in the annular passage.

The swirling flow created by the swirling flow mixes air and complete combustion, and since the tip of the needle does not protrude from the tip of the holder, fluctuations on the annular passage side are large enough to cause unstable combustion. The range of stable combustion can be widened.

The structure of the combustion device main body 1 of the liquid fuel combustion device is as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 189429/1989, which has a horizontal annular passage 2 for swirling and mixing fuel and primary air, and a combustion section is provided at the tip side of the annular passage 2. It is no different from what is shown in the official bulletin. The fuel supply component 3 is a component that injects fuel and primary air into the annular passage 2 at the upper part of the base side of the annular passage 2, and is a sleeve whose base is formed as a mounting part 4 and whose tip is formed into a nozzle shape. It consists of a shaped holder 5 and a needle 6 that is integrally provided in the direction of the center line inside the holder 5 and spouts fuel from its tip. Since this needle 6 has a cut surface 7 at its tip, surface tension acts on this needle 6 in the same way as shown in FIG. 5, and a similar phenomenon of liquid fuel release along the cut surface appears. . And the holder 5 is connected to the annular passage 2 as shown in FIG.
The cut surface 7 at the tip of the needle 6 faces downward with respect to the horizontal annular passage 2 that swirls and mixes the fuel in the combustion device main body 1 and the primary air when the needle 6 is attached to the combustion device main body 1. and is configured obliquely so as not to protrude from the tip of the holder 5. Therefore, needle 6
Since the cut surface 7 faces downward, the fuel coming out on the cut surface 7 is blown upward along the cut surface 7 and is sprayed against the outer peripheral wall surface of the annular passage 2, promoting vaporization of the fuel. The holder 5 has an air intake hole 8 formed on the base side, which takes in primary air for combustion from an air passage configured outside the annular passage 2 of the combustion device main body 1, and a nozzle-shaped opening at the tip. The annular channel 2 can be fed from the end.

The needle 6 is provided parallel to the center line of the holder 5 at a position eccentric to the lower left of the drawing with respect to the open end of the holder 5, and the positional relationship of the cutting surface 7 at its tip to the tip of the holder 5 is such that, assuming the outer diameter of the needle 6 to be d, the cutting surface 7 is set back by a dimension from O to d. In other words, the tip of the needle 6 does not protrude from the holder 5.

は従来例を示すものである。 Thus, the fuel supply component 3 is attached to the combustion apparatus main body 1 as shown in FIG. 3, and is used for supplying fuel and primary air. The diagonally cut cutting surface 7 of the needle 6 is set back from the tip of the holder 5 by a dimension from 0 to d, and is directed downward. Therefore, it is susceptible to the effects of swirling airflow in the annular passage 2, and the fuel is blown out smoothly, but fluctuations on the annular passage 2 side do not act so greatly as to cause unstable combustion, and the range of stable combustion is wide. (See the solid line range in Figure 4). In other words, fluctuations in fuel blowout, resulting in pulsating combustion, and the generation of smoke and CO are reduced. Note that the dotted line range in FIG. 4 shows the conventional example.

Since it is installed,
The outer circumferential wall surface of the annular passage, which is a vaporization surface, is arranged in the direction in which fuel is released along the cut surface of the needle, thereby promoting the vaporization of the fuel released from the cut surface of the needle, and ensuring that The fuel after naturalization is formed in the annular passage, where it is agitated by the swirling flow and mixed with air, resulting in complete combustion.Furthermore, since the tip of the needle does not protrude from the tip of the holder, the fuel on the annular passage side The range of stable combustion can be widened without the fluctuation being so large as to cause unstable combustion.
