Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the particle diameter of atomizing smaller and finer by positioning a feeding point of a liquid substance in an ultrasonic vibration horn in area with effective amplitude of vertical vibration mode of ultrasonic vibration smaller than the atomizing area of the ultrasonic vibration horn. CONSTITUTION:An area all through from a point C, where a down-stream side opening of a liquid substance guide channel 1 on the outer peripheral surface of an ultrasonic vibration horn 3 is set, to a point (g) on a center of axis of the horn 3 is curved slowly in the form of circular arc, and a liquid substance fed from the point C onto the outer peripheral surface of the horn 3 is moved slowly all over said area. As the effective amplitude of the vertical vibration mode of the ultrasonic vibration around the point C is smaller than those at the points d-g, the liquid substance is not almost atomized around the point C, but is spread gradually along the outer peripheral surface in said form of circular arc of the horn 3 and is moved to the sites of larger effective amplitude. As a result, the atomizing area is enlarged and the particle diameter of spray can be smaller and finer.
