(Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a tile construction method, and more particularly to a construction method characterized by the joint material used. (Prior Art) Conventionally, buildings have been insulated using various methods. The methods of insulating a building can be roughly divided into internal insulation methods and external insulation methods.Inner insulation methods are methods in which insulation is placed on the inside of the building, and external insulation methods are methods in which insulation is placed on the outside of the building. This method is often used as an insulation method for buildings made of concrete, etc. In the case of a concrete building, if you put insulation on the outside of the building, the concrete wall itself will act as a heat storage layer, making the indoor temperature more stable. This has the advantage of improving the service life of the device. By the way, materials that are generally used as insulation materials include plastic foam, glass wool, and rock wool, and when these are placed on the outside of a building, it is necessary to apply a decorative coating to the outside. However, these insulation materials have low strength, and when applying decoration to the outside, heavy objects such as tiles cannot be used, so lightweight decorative materials that do not give a luxurious look have to be used. . Therefore, inorganic foam tiles, such as glass tiles made by foaming a powder raw material containing natural glassy minerals as a main material and a specified foaming agent, are used as an exterior material that also serves as a heat insulating material. Attempts have been made to simultaneously provide heat insulation and decoration by adhering to the material. By the way, when such tiles are used as exterior materials, it is necessary to fill the gaps (joint areas) between the tiles with a joint material.
Conventionally, the material commonly used as this joint material is mortar made of sand as an aggregate, which has poor insulation properties, and as a result, heat is transferred and received at the joints, causing the insulation properties of the building itself to deteriorate. will be damaged. (Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been made to solve these problems, and its gist is to arrange tiles in a predetermined arrangement on the surface to be constructed and to fix them with a fixing material. At the same time, the gaps between the tiles are filled with mortar using foamed aggregate as a joint material. (Function) Mortar using foamed aggregate, for example perlite, has been conventionally used as an adhesive mortar for fixing the back surface of tiles to a building frame. The present invention is characterized in that it is used as a joint material to fill the gaps between tiles, and the heat insulation of the joints increases based on the pores of the aggregate. This will effectively keep buildings warm and cool. (Example) Next, in order to make the present invention more clear, examples thereof will be described below. As shown in FIG. 1, heat insulating tiles 14 made of foam glass were arranged in a predetermined arrangement on the wall surface (surface to be constructed) 12 of a frame 10, and their back surfaces were fixed with adhesive mortar 16. Here, the heat insulating tile 14 is made of anti-firestone, rhyolite,
The main material is one or more natural glassy minerals such as pearlite, obsidian, shirasu, and quartz sand, crushed using a crusher and a mill, and a powder raw material containing SiC as a foaming agent is heated and foamed to this material. As shown in FIG. 2, it is rectangular and thick, with dimensions of 180 mm x 180 mm x 60 mm, and has a foam glass base 18 and a hard surface layer 20 that also serves as a decorative layer. This foam tile 14 made of foam glass contains numerous closed cells inside, has no air permeability, no water absorption, and has excellent heat insulation properties. After the tiles 14 were fixed, as shown in Table 1, mortar containing expanded perlite as an aggregate was filled into the gap between the tiles 14 as a joint material 22. When the outer wall surface of a building was constructed in this manner, the insulation properties were better than those constructed using conventional construction methods.

[Table] The construction method of this example has the following advantages in addition to the excellent heat insulation properties of the joints. First, since the tile 14 is made of foam glass, that is, it is foamed and lightweight, it is possible to use a mortar using foamed aggregate as the joint material 22 as the mortar 16 attached to the back surface. Become.
This allows the building's insulation properties to be further improved. Secondly, since the tile 14 is made of foam, the compatibility between the joint material 22 and the tile 14, which are made of the same foamed aggregate, is good, and the tile 14
Good adhesive strength can be obtained because the joints are thick, that is, the joints are deep. Note that the present invention can be implemented in various forms other than the above-mentioned examples. For example, the present invention is most effective when applied to construction using the above-mentioned foam glass as a tile, but it is also possible to use an inorganic foam such as ALC as such a tile. Further, in addition to such a foam as the tile, it is also possible to use an ordinary tile, and in this case as well, the heat insulation resistance is improved compared to that of conventional tiles due to the action of the joints. In addition to the above-mentioned method of fixing tiles with adhesive mortar, it is also possible to form tiles into panels in advance and then fix the tile panels to the building frame using screws or other fasteners (fixing materials). In short, the methods conventionally used in tile construction can also be used in this method. Next, perlite is a typical foam aggregate, but other inorganic foam aggregates or organic foam aggregates with closed or open cells such as vermiculite, expanded polystyrene, blast furnace slag, and volcanic ash are also used. It is also possible. In addition, the present invention can be modified in various ways without departing from its spirit, such as not completely filling the joints between tiles with the joint material, but filling only a portion of the front side. It is possible to implement the present invention in a manner with various modifications. (Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention uses mortar using foam aggregate as a joint material during tile construction. According to the present invention, excellent effects such as suppressing the transfer of heat at the joints and providing good insulation of the building are produced.
