Pressing means for partitioning two pairs of cylindrical grindstones each having a different grain size into a recess formed between the two, and for press-welding the outer circumferential surfaces of the partitioned grindstones or for making it possible to release the pressure-welding. Further, a blade insertion opening into which the blade is inserted is recessed in the side wall corresponding to the outer periphery pressure contact portion of both grindstones.

Furthermore, if the whetstone is placed in a kitchen or the like when not in use, the whetstone is difficult to see, and since the whetstone does not come into contact with the mounting surface, there is no risk of damage.

きる。 Since the device according to the second claim is made up of two sets of grinding wheels with different grain sizes, it is possible to perform rough sharpening and final sharpening, and a sharp blade can be obtained. When the sharpening force decreases, by releasing the pressure contact of the grindstone by the pressure contact means and changing the pressure contact part of the grindstone, the decrease in the sharpening force can be prevented and the entire circumference of the grindstone can be effectively utilized.

なつている。 As shown in FIG. 1, the cutlery storage case 1 consists of a case body 2 and its lid 3, and a recess 5 is formed on the outer surface of the bottom wall 4 at the longitudinal center of the case body 2. The recess 5 extends in the width direction of the case body 2, is open at both side edges, and has a V-shaped cross section. Both slopes 6 within this recess 5,
A grinding wheel 8 is fitted into a mounting portion 6a formed on one slope 6 of the grinding wheel 7, and a center line 9a of a sharpening surface 9 on the grinding wheel 8 is parallel to both side edges 5a and 5b of the recessed portion 5. These side edges 5a and 5b serve as guide portions for guiding the blade 12 during sharpening, as will be described later. Parts of the case body 2 on both sides of the recess 5 serve as gripping parts 10a and 10b when the grindstone 8 is used.

A is applied to the sharpening surface 9 of the whetstone 8 and the blade 12 is moved back and forth along one side edge 5a of the recess 5, so that the cutting edge 12a of the blade 12 can be sharpened by the whetstone 8. In this case, the sharpening angle can be changed by changing the contact position of the cutting edge 12a with respect to the sharpening surface 9 of the grindstone 8, and the sharpening angle is set at the side edge 5.
Since the polishing is performed while being guided by a and 5b, the polishing is always uniform.

Since the case body 2 is attached when the whetstone 8 is not in use,
When placed in a kitchen or the like, the bottom wall 4 is naturally on the lower side, so the whetstone 8 is hardly visible from the outside and looks good.

A partition member 18 as a pressure contact means is inserted into the center of the recess 17 to partition the inside of the recess 17.
Grooves 17a and 17b are formed on both sides. A blade insertion opening 19, which is opened at one side wall 2a and wall portion 16 of the case body 2, is recessed in both grooves 17a and 17b. Both legs 20 protruding from the lower side of the partition member 18 are inserted into the lower surface side of the case body 2, and are movable in the vertical direction and in the direction along one side wall 2a of the case body 2. Therefore, the partition member 18 can also move within the recess 17 within that range. The partition member 18 is fixed from the bottom side of the case body 2 with a set screw 21. Grooves 17a are provided on both sides of this partition member 18,

The second cutting edge 12a is inserted between the outer circumferential surfaces 8a of both grindstones 8 and applied onto the pressure contact portion 22 thereof. When the blade 12 is reciprocated in the direction of the axis P of both grindstones 8, the cutting edge 12a can be sharpened in a state in which it is in contact with the entire outer peripheral surface 8a of the grindstone 8 in the direction of the axis P. In addition, if the sharpening power decreases due to iron powder adhering to both grindstones 8, the setscrew 2
1 to release the pressure contact by the partition member 18, and then rotate both the grindstones 8 little by little, and then position both the grindstones 8 by the pressure contact by the partition member 18 in the same way as in the case described above. Because it is possible, there is no reduction in sharpening power. Furthermore, since the whetstone 8 is installed inside the knife storage case 1, when sharpening the cutting edge 12a, there is no need to prepare a knife sharpener separately from the knife storage case 1, and the knife storage case 1 can also be used as a knife sharpener. If the grinding force decreases due to iron powder etc. adhering to the whetstone, by releasing the pressure contact of the whetstone using the pressure welding means and changing the pressure contact part of the whetstone, it is possible to prevent the decrease in sharpening power and also to completely reduce the sharpness of the whetstone. This has the effect that the surrounding area can be used effectively.
