2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a system in which a personal identification number needs to be input, there is an online system for paying the price using a credit card, a cash card (bank POS) or the like. When payment is made by such an online system, for example, Japanese Patent Application No. 60-275
As proposed in 473 etc., input data such as card data, sales amount, personal identification number, etc. into the transaction terminal device installed in the store and send these data to the center device online. Then, the center device side is configured to perform settlement processing.

In this case, it is determined whether the presenter of the card is the person himself / herself by having the presenter (customer) input the personal identification number registered in advance by the card owner. It is designed to check whether or not the numbers match. Then, when the presenter inputs the personal identification number, there is a possibility that the presenter may be known to the store clerk or a staff member. Therefore, in order to prevent such a situation, as shown in FIG.
The keypad 200 for inputting a personal identification number is wired to the transaction processing apparatus main body 110 which constitutes the transaction terminal device.
00, the key pad 200 is installed in a part of the store where the card presenter can stop by so that the input operation can be performed without being seen by a clerk or a staff member. .

However, as shown in FIG.
In the conventional configuration of the above, the operation of inputting the personal identification number can be performed so as not to be seen by a store clerk or a clerk. However, the transaction processing apparatus main body 110 and the keypad 200 are wired cables 30.
Since they are linked by 0, the transaction processor main body 110 is installed only in the vicinity where the card presenter (customer) can stop. Usually, such a place is in the vicinity of a cash register or on a display case of products in a general store, but in a general store, it is not possible to place such a device in the vicinity of a visitor. There is a demand to store as many products as possible and use the store as effectively as possible. Therefore, the conventional configuration of FIG. 12 has a problem that it hinders effective use of the store.

Further, since these transaction terminal devices are premised on being installed indoors, when introduced into a store such as a gas station where payment is performed outdoors, the card presenter is required to enter the personal identification number. There is the inconvenience of having to get out of the car and go to the store just to enter.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and its purpose is to present a card without interfering with effective use of a store and without going to a place where a transaction terminal device is installed. An object of the present invention is to provide a personal identification number input device by which a person himself / herself can input a personal identification number.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, a personal identification number input by a key operation in response to an input request command from a processing device body is provided to the processing device body in response to a transmission request command following the input request command. It is a personal identification number input device to send,
A key pad holder that is connected to the main body of the processing device by wire, and a key that is detachably attached to the key pad holder.
The key pad and the key pad holder are configured to include a pad, and data is transmitted and received between the key pad and the key pad holder by a coupling mode such as optical coupling, electromagnetic coupling, or mechanical contact in a mounted state of both. Means are further provided, and the personal identification number input by the key operation is transmitted to the processing device main body through the data transmission / reception means and the wire in response to a transmission request command from the processing device main body. The above object is achieved by providing a control means.

According to the above-mentioned means, the keypad holder in which the personal identification number input device is connected to the main body of the processing apparatus by wire, and the keypad holder.
The key pad is detachably attached to the pad holder, and the key pad for inputting a personal identification number can be carried around. Therefore, the personal identification number can be input anywhere, inside or outside the store.
When the keypad is mounted on the keypad holder, the inputted personal identification number is transmitted to the processing apparatus main body in response to the transmission request command following the personal identification number input request command. Therefore, the main body of the processing device can be installed in a place where there is no hindrance to business activities in the store, and effective use of the store can be achieved, and there is no need to send the customer who inputs the personal identification number to the installation place of the processing device. Customer service is improved.

That is, the personal identification number input device 4 of this embodiment
When a plurality of transaction processing devices equipped with 00 are installed and the keypad 402 is inserted into the keypad holder 401 of a pair different from the processing device main body 110 which has generated the input request, the customer's password to be originally processed There is a problem that another person's personal identification number that is not a number is transmitted to the online center. In order to solve this, it is necessary to make correspondence between the transaction processing device main body 110 that has generated the input request and the keypad 402 in which the personal identification number has been input. Therefore, in this embodiment, in order to take this correspondence, the data of the process ID and the member number set in the input request command received from the main body 110 by the keypad 402 is RA.
It is saved in the areas m14 and m15 of M27, incorporated in the response, and sent back to the main body 110 side.

As described above, in this embodiment, the keypad holder 401 in which the personal identification number input device is connected to the processing apparatus main body 110 by wire, and the keypad holder 40.
1 and a key pad 402 which is detachably attached to the key pad 402, and the key pad 402 and the key pad holder 401 are light-emitting elements 17 and 20 for transmitting and receiving data by optical coupling in the mounted state of both. Data transmission / reception means composed of the light receiving elements 18 and 19 is provided, and the transmission request command following the input request command is input with the password input by the customer's key operation responding to the input request command of the processing unit 110 Since it is configured to be transmitted to the processing device main body 110 in response to, the keypad 402 for inputting the personal identification number can be freely carried and the personal identification number can be input anywhere inside or outside the store. Then, when the keypad 402 is attached to the keypad holder 401, the inputted personal identification number is transmitted to the processing apparatus main body 110 in response to a transmission request command following the personal identification number input request command. Therefore, the processing device main body 110 can be installed in a place where there is no hindrance to business activities in the store, and effective use of the store can be achieved. Further, it is not necessary to send a customer who inputs a personal identification number to the store, and the customer service is improved.

Further, the processing device main body 110 inserts into the input request command a processing ID (specific code data) which is different for each processing device and is different each time the input processing is performed.
Since the personal identification number is transmitted only to the pad 402 and the response of the personal identification number including the same processing ID is returned from the key pad 402, the personal identification number is validated. As described above, in the present invention, the key pad holder in which the personal identification number input device is connected to the main body of the processing apparatus by wire and the key pad which is detachably attached to the key pad holder are provided. The key pad and the key pad holder are provided with data transmission / reception means composed of a light emitting element and a light receiving element for transmitting and receiving data by optical coupling when the both are mounted, and a password from the processor main body is provided. Since the personal identification number input by the customer's key operation responding to the number input request command is configured to be transmitted to the processing apparatus body in response to the transmission request command following the input request command, the key inputting the personal identification number is performed. -You can freely carry the pad and enter your PIN anywhere inside or outside the store. Then, when the keypad is mounted on the keypad holder, the inputted personal identification number is transmitted to the processing apparatus main body in response to the transmission request command following the personal identification number input request command. Therefore, the processing apparatus main body can be installed in a place where there is no hindrance to business activities in the store, and the store can be effectively used. Further, it is not necessary to send a customer who inputs a personal identification number to the store, and the customer service is improved.

Further, by installing the main body of the processing device in a place where the business activities in the store are not hindered, the atmosphere inside a quiet store such as a jewelry store is destroyed by the sound of the slip output from the main body of the processing device. Things will disappear.

Further, specific code data which is different for each processing device and which is different each time the input processing is inserted into the input request command from the processing device main body is transmitted to the key pad, and the same key pad is used. Since the personal identification number is made valid only when the response of the personal identification number including the code data of is returned, when a plurality of transaction processing devices equipped with the personal identification number input device are installed, Solved the problem that if the keypad was inserted into a keypad holder that is not the same as the processing device that issued the input request, the PIN code of another person, which was not the PIN code of the customer to be processed, would be sent to the online center. However, it is possible to reliably prevent erroneous processing due to a handling error.
