Generally, the paper threading device has the following technical problems. (1) If the running body becomes long, problems due to friction occur. Referring to FIGS. 11 and 12, the pipe-shaped rail 14
When the traveling body 18 travels in the inside, the sliding contact surface comes into contact with the line because it has the same circular cross section, and the frictional resistance between the rail 14 and the traveling body 18 increases, and the drive roll 15 shown in FIG. And 16 slip, and the traveling body 18 cannot travel. 13 and 14 show an example in which the feed hole 18b for driving is provided on the surface of the belt-shaped traveling body 18a, but the traveling body 18a is not fed due to a load such as friction resistance as in the above, and the driving is performed. The feed pin 15b attached to the roll 15a causes the feed hole 18b to wear,
The traveling body 18a cannot be fed. The above-mentioned state often occurs at a portion at a path changing portion such as a swing roller and a moving roller. (2) Since the running body moves in the 180 ° bent portion and the twisted portion, a flexible material is inevitably adopted, but this means that the driving force is applied in the direction of pushing the running body. In this case, the traveling body is distorted, meandering, or wavy, and not only the driving force is not efficiently transmitted to the first half of the traveling body, but also the contact area between the rail and the traveling body increases, and the resistance further increases.
The drive unit slips, which makes it difficult to reliably feed the traveling body. (3) As a measure for the above items (1) and (2), there is a method of arranging a large number of driving devices. However, this method not only makes the narrow rotary frame more complicated, but also a normal printing operation. And make maintenance work difficult. In addition, the design of the rotary press becomes a big restriction, and the cost naturally increases. Conventional A mentioned above
In the method, the above three problems apply as they are. Further, in the B method, a flexible material is used to overcome a large running resistance, but an excessive force is applied to the feed hole of the running body, resulting in wear of the hole.

(1) By attaching a plurality of rolling elements to the traveling body, the abrasion resistance generated between the guide and the traveling body is drastically reduced. (2) Since the traveling body covers the guide, the rigidity is higher than that of the conventional device, and there is no meandering or waviness that tends to occur when the traveling body moves forward and backward, and the transmission efficiency by drive is extremely high. Good for (3) Since the traveling body has slits on both side surfaces, the traveling body can smoothly conform to the guide even in a curved portion. (4) Since the side surface of the traveling body on the outside of the guide is driven, the guide does not have to be divided for the purpose of disposing the drive device, which results in a compact design and a large space in the rotary press frame. Workability such as printing and maintenance is improved.

The guide 1 is attached to a side surface inside the rotary press frame 11, and is provided as a guide rail for the traveling body 2 to automatically pass the paper through a predetermined path. Since the three rolling surfaces 3 contact the rolling elements 3 provided inside the running body 2, they are smooth surfaces, and the rolling elements 3 can run smoothly. In addition, the cross section of the guide 1 has a larger cross section system than that of the conventional apparatus, and the guide 1 has a shape that allows the guide to be bent and twisted relatively easily. The traveling body 2 uses a soft and flexible material, but slits 2a are further provided at equal pitches on the side surface in the longitudinal direction of the traveling body so that the curved portion of the guide 1 can be easily followed. Also, in order to reduce the frictional resistance between the guide 1 and the traveling body 2,
Rolling elements 3 are provided in the longitudinal direction of the inside of the running body 2 at a portion directly above the guide and in contact with both side surfaces of the guide, and the rolling bodies 3 are combined so as to hold the guide 2.

Before starting the paper threading, the traveling body 2 is incorporated in the guide 1 of the upstream paper threading path U from the paper feed section 01 to the point P. Simultaneously with the start of threading, the driving roller 12 provided at the point Q slightly upstream of the point P causes the traveling body 2 to move from the winding paper attached to the tab 7 of the tab attachment 5 provided at a portion near the downstream end thereof. The paper runs on the guide 1 while pulling the front end of the paper. Like the floating roller 25 and the dancer roller 26 on the way, the contact resistance between the guide and the traveling body, which is generated in the curved portion that changes the direction of about 180 ° provided in the paper threading path of the swinging or moving roller, causes the traveling body 2 to have a contact resistance. Due to the rolling elements 3 provided and the slits 2a provided on both side surfaces, the number of rolling elements is significantly reduced, and stable and smooth running is possible. Also, the thrust in the paper threading direction generated by the tension of the web can be smoothly moved as in the above.

Next, from the point P, the tab 7 is located at the downstream paper threading path L.
At the time of entering, the tip of the traveling body 2 on the downstream side is 0
It reaches a point R on the downstream side of the drag roller 27 at the entrance of the triangular plate 28 of No. 9 and is driven by a pair of drive rollers 12 provided upstream from the point R. In the downstream paper threading route L, the traveling body 2 passes through the above-described paper threading route A or B switched by a branching device (not shown) similar to a known rail point switching device, and further, the slitter 07.
From the drag roller 06 provided with the above to the drag roller 27, the vehicle travels on the above-described straight path C or on a separately provided rail. The running resistance generated in the twisted paper threading path in the turn bar 08, the curved paper threading path of the moving compensating roller 29, etc. is drastically reduced by the action of the rolling elements 3 and the slits 2a. Runs in a stable condition.

In the apparatus for automatically threading paper along the path from the paper feed section of the rotary press to the folding section via the printing section and the web path section, the head has a cross-sectional shape enlarged in an inverted triangle shape. A guide which is continuously installed along the paper threading path, a flexible running body having a cross-sectional shape that wraps around the head of the guide, and the guide head pivotally supported on the inner surface of the running body. The following effects can be obtained by including the rolling element that abuts on the top surface and the side surface and the drive roll that abuts on the outer surface of the running body and moves the running body along the guide. (1) A rolling element is built into the inside of the running body to embrace the guide, and the three-dimensional structure fits well to the guide. In addition, since the traveling body has the possibility, even in the shape of the bent portion and the twisted portion, it adapts well to the guide,
The frictional resistance generated during running is significantly reduced, and the running body can run smoothly. (2) Even if a paper threading path from the paper feeding section to the folding machine is branched in multiple directions and a paper threading path is added to the additional web generated by dividing the web running direction into a plurality of directions, the paper threading paths are added along these paper threading paths. With the continuously installed guide and branching device,
Threading can be performed along all the threading paths. (3) By providing a traveling body having at least the same length as the divided paper passage route among the partial paper passage routes obtained by dividing the paper passage route from the paper feeding unit to the folding machine, There is no need to provide a separate storage space, and the traveling body is driven by a drive unit provided in each partial paper-passing path and travels on the guide while pulling the paper edge of the web, so the traveling body must meander. Without threading, it is smooth and reliable.
