題点があつた。(Prior art) Conventionally, when butt fusion splicing optical fibers made by applying a coating layer on the optical fibers, the optical fibers are connected by leaving an extra length required for reconnection at both ends of the connection part. and a reinforcing layer is applied over the connection. As a case for storing the optical fiber connector and the extra length of the optical fiber at both ends, a plastic sheet is bent inward on both sides in the longitudinal direction by a predetermined width as shown in FIG. A storage case 10 for an optical fiber connection part has been developed, which includes a holding part 11 and a plastic sheet with insertion holes 12, 12 formed at the center of both ends thereof to be inserted into the pillars. In order to store the optical fiber connecting portion and the extra length optical fiber at both ends in the storage case 10, the optical fiber connecting portion and the extra length optical fiber at both ends are formed into a loop and the storage case 1 is used.
However, when storing the loop-shaped optical fiber connecting portion and the extra length of the optical fiber at both ends in the storage case 10, the optical fiber In order to prevent unreasonable bending stress from acting on both ends of the reinforcing layer applied on the connection part, the optical fiber connection part is linearly held and stored in the optical fiber holding part 11 of the storage case 10. It is desirable that the extra length of the optical fiber at both ends is housed in a loop so that it forms an ellipse having a permissible radius of curvature. However, in this type of storage case 10, the optical fiber connecting portion linearly held and stored in the optical fiber holding portion 11 moves due to a slight external force acting on the optical fiber. There is a risk that unreasonable bending stress will act on both ends of the reinforcing layer applied on the connection part and cause the fiber to break. In addition, the storage case 10 stores the optical fiber connection part and the extra length of the optical fiber at both ends in a loop shape. As shown in FIG. 6, the storage cases 10 are stacked and stored in the connection box 13 by being inserted through the upright support 14, so in order to take out the required storage case 10 from the connection box 13, the storage case 10 in the upper layer must be removed. It is necessary to sequentially extract the storage cases from the support columns 14 of the connection box 13 and take out the necessary storage cases, which poses problems such as requiring a lot of effort and a long time to remove the storage cases.

A plurality of sleeve pieces protruding from both longitudinal edges of a plastic sheet are bent inwardly to form an optical fiber core. A clamping part is formed, two parallel slits of a predetermined length are provided between the optical fiber core clamping parts, and an insertion hole with a slit is bored in the center of both ends of the plastic sheet. It is something.

実施例を示す説明図である。(Embodiment of the present invention) Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. In Fig. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a storage case for the optical fiber connection part, and as shown in the figure, the case 1 is attached to both longitudinal edges of the plastic sheet. A plurality of protruding sleeve pieces are bent inwardly to form an optical fiber core holding part 2,
Two parallel slits 3, 3 of a predetermined length are provided between the optical fiber core holding portions 2, 2, and insertion holes 4, 4 into the pillars are provided with slits 5 in the center of both ends of the plastic sheet. has been done. In order to store the optical fiber connector and the optical fiber core with extra length at both ends in the storage case 1, as shown in FIG. The optical fiber is held in a loop shape and stored in the optical fiber holding part 2, and the two parallel slits 3 provided between the optical fiber holding parts 2 and 2 are turned up and a reinforcing layer is applied to the part. Clamp and fix the coated optical fiber connection part. In this way, the storage case 1 which stores the optical fiber cable connection part and the optical fiber cables with extra lengths at both ends is attached to a support 14 set up in the connection box with holes drilled at both ends of the storage case 1, as shown in FIG. The slits 5 provided on both sides of the insertion holes 4 are opened and fitted into the insertion holes 4, 4, and the cases 1 are stacked and stored in the junction box, and the stacked storage cases 1 can be taken out from any location at any time. FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing another embodiment of the present invention in which the total length of the storage case 1 is made longer so that it can accommodate two fiber optic cable connecting portions and the remaining lengths of the optical fiber cables at both ends thereof. be.
