Conventionally, clay has generally been sold as a rectangular block, and the user can take an appropriate amount from this block and, depending on the intended use, can either roll it out with a roller to form a sheet, or press it by hand and roll it. It was used in the form of sticks. However, this process is very troublesome, especially when it is stretched into a sheet, the thickness is not uniform, and the shape of the surrounding area is not uniform. Then I had to use a ruler and knife to cut it.

This invention solves the above-mentioned problems.During the manufacturing stage, clay is passed between two rolls and stretched to a constant thickness, and both ears are cut to create a long piece of constant width. Sheet-shaped clay is layered with a long plastic film (hereinafter simply referred to as film) and rolled into a roll with the clay on the inside, or
Sheets of clay are cut into regular shapes, which are stacked alternately with films of roughly the same shape and placed in a container.
This improves the convenience of use.

Resin clay, paper clay, starch clay, and all other types of clay can be used, but in this example, gray-white resin clay (stone powder clay mixed with resin) is used.
is used. 2 is a long film, and the material of this film is not particularly limited, but it may be any material that has releasability that allows it to be easily peeled off even when it is in pressure contact with clay for a long time. In this embodiment, a polyethylene film having a thickness of 20 μm and silicon-treated on both sides is used.

This sheet clay is placed on top of a long film with slightly larger dimensions, and the sheet clay is formed as shown in the figure. By rolling the clay into a roll so that it is on the inside, both the front and back sides of the sheet-shaped clay are isolated from the outside air.

Therefore, as shown in the figure, by making the width of the film sufficiently wider than the width of the sheet-like clay, the degree to which the selvage of the clay comes into contact with the outside air is reduced, thereby delaying solidification.

の心配はない。 However, in any case, this rolled clay is provided in an airtight container such as a bag or box, and when needed, it can be taken out of these containers and cut into pieces as needed. Because the clay sheets are only used and the rest is returned to the container, the time that the selvage of the sheet clay is exposed to the outside air is extremely short, and there is no need to worry about it solidifying during normal use.

In the figure, reference numeral 5 indicates a sheet-like clay cut into a regular shape, and a large number of films 6 of approximately the same size as the clay are stacked alternately with the sheet-like clay, and this is placed in a sealed container with a lid 7. This is what is loaded in the 8.

If you open the lid 7, take out the required number of clay sheets from the upper layer, and immediately close the lid, you can prevent the remaining clay from solidifying. Then, the sheet-shaped clay taken out is further stretched, cut, molded, etc., if necessary, and then used.

In this invention, the clay is stretched in advance into a sheet and layered with the film, and then rolled up into a roll or cut into regular shapes and laminated with the film. After unraveling and cutting the sheet clay alone or the sheet clay together with the film, stretching the cut clay further as necessary, cutting, shaping, etc., and peeling the clay from the film for use. I can do it.

In addition, during various processing, since the clay has been stretched to a certain thickness in advance, subsequent processing such as stretching, cutting, molding, etc. is extremely easy.

Since it is easily obtained, it can be rolled into a round string and used for various shapes.
