This has problems in terms of time and cost. In other words, since the casting surface obtained by molding is rough, the surface must be finished with a grinder and polished with a whetstone after going through the steps of rough machining, intermediate finishing, and final finishing. Therefore, the number of man-hours required to complete the process is extremely large. Furthermore, castings have the property of shrinking at a predetermined rate when cooled after casting, and in particular, in the example of the lower mold 2 shown in Fig. 6, the shrinkage rate in the longitudinal direction is high. The dimensions of the casting must be set larger to account for the shrinkage rate. Therefore, it is difficult to control the dimensions during manufacturing, and the outer surface of the casting must be cut before the mold is completed, resulting in material waste.

is shown as a whole, and small block pieces 11a, 11b, 11c, 1 are cast separately on the upper part of the board 12.
1d and 11e are assembled and fixed together. These small block pieces 11a, 11b, 11
C, 11d, and 11e have shapes as shown in FIG. 2, and are separately cast in advance by a precision casting method using separate molds. The above-mentioned precision casting method is a casting method using a wax mold, and can be applied when the shape of the casting has a relatively small shape such as the above-mentioned small block piece. This method is in very good condition. Therefore, small block pieces 11a, 1 obtained by precision casting method
1b, 11c, 11d, and 11e do not require any surface polishing, and can be immediately assembled and fixed on a board 12 as shown in FIG. 1 to produce a casting mold 11. Any method may be used for the collective fixing means, but for example, the board 12 and each small block piece 11 may be fixed using tightening bolts (not shown).
a, 11b, . . . may be tightened and fixed.

Note that it is possible to apply not only to the lower mold 2 but also to the upper mold 1. In addition to the structure shown in FIG. 3, a method for fixing the casting mold 11 is as shown in FIG. You can let me.

Since it is manufactured by the company, it is possible to eliminate the various surface finishing processes required when manufacturing conventional casting molds, shortening the time required for manufacturing and reducing costs. Moreover, since there is no wasted material consumption during production, material costs can also be saved. In addition, since the influence of shrinkage when cooling small block pieces after casting is small, process control is easy, and the completed mold has many advantages such as good dimensional accuracy, so it can be used for various molding. It brings about great effects when used in molds for press equipment.
