Prior Art Although conventional jaw models for impression training were generally satisfactory in terms of shape and material of the mucous membrane surface, they had a drawback in that the hardening speed of the impression material during training was different from that during clinical use.

For example, the widely used alginate impression materials and silicone impression materials have the property that their hardening is accelerated by high temperatures, such as those found inside the mouth. In the case of modeling compounds used for functional impressions when making dentures, they are heated and hardened before being used to take the impression, and then soften when cooled.

When practicing using these impression materials and conventional models, for example, the former does not accelerate hardening because the temperature is not as high as in the clinical oral cavity.
It took a long time to cure, and if it was taken out at the clinical setting time, it would sometimes become deformed because it was not cured.

Moreover, in the latter case, on the contrary, it cured quickly, so it was not possible to obtain the same working time as in the clinical setting.

In practical training, this difference in curing speed makes it difficult to learn the operating time required for impression work and the timing to take out the impression material from the oral cavity, and also causes a decline in the accuracy of the impressions taken. It became.

That is, in the jaw model of the present invention, a heat insulating material is filled inside the support base, the jaw mucous membrane is positioned on the heat insulating material via a heat conductive plate, and a heating element is attached to the heat conductive plate. A temperature sensor is attached between the heat conductive plate and the jaw mucous membrane surface, and the heating element and temperature sensor are connected to a temperature control device.

In this invention, a heating element is built into the jaw model, and the temperature of this heating element is adjusted by a temperature control device, so that the temperature of the mucous membrane surface of the jaw model is equal to the actual temperature of the mucous membrane surface in the oral cavity. Since the temperature can be set at a temperature that is almost equivalent to that or the temperature that the instructor deems appropriate, it is possible to conduct training that is similar to clinical practice.
It becomes easier to learn the time required for impression work and the timing to take out the impression material from the oral cavity, and it also becomes possible to practice highly accurate impression taking.

Note that the shape and material of the support base of the jaw model in the present invention are not particularly limited, and may be formed in the same manner as a general jaw model. In addition, the jaw mucosa is preferably formed from a material that has a feel and properties similar to the human oral mucosa, and is preferably made of synthetic rubber such as soft urethane resin, polyvinyl chloride, thiokol rubber, and silicone rubber, or soft rubber such as natural rubber. , preferably formed in layers.

Both the jaw mucous membrane 2 and the jaw mucosa surface 5 are formed into a substantially uniform layer, and a heating element 6 is attached to the back surface of the heat conductor panel 5. A sensor 7 is attached and connected to a temperature control device 8, so that the temperature of the jaw mucous membrane surface 3 is controlled by the heat generated by the heating element 6.

In this embodiment, a planar heating element (8V, 3.2W) manufactured by Sakaguchi Dentsu Co., Ltd. is used as the heating element 6, and a digital temperature sensor module DM-1 type manufactured by Ishizuka Denshi Co., Ltd. is used as the temperature control device 8. If you set the desired temperature in advance using the digital temperature sensor module, the digital temperature sensor module will digitally compare the set temperature and the temperature of the jaw mucosal surface 3 using the temperature sensor 7 attached to the jaw mucosal surface 3. , which electrically controls a planar heating heater.
