In order to achieve the above object, the ophthalmological fiberscope of the present invention is provided with a grip part that can be held with one hand, and a small diameter probe tube for insertion into the eyeball is provided protrudingly from the tip of the grip part, and The radius of curvature of the probe tube is 3 mm to 10 mm, and the direction change angle is 60°.
It was formed into a curved radius shape with an angle of ~120° and a length from the starting point of the curve to the tip of the curve of 5 mm to 10 mm.

With the above configuration, the inside of the eyeball can be directly observed and diagnosed by grasping the grip portion with one hand and inserting the thin probe tube into the eyeball (from the white part of the eye). Since this small-diameter probe tube has a curved radius, it can be easily inserted into the eyeball, and the entire inside of the eyeball, including the front side of the retina, that is, the vicinity of the periphery of the crystalline lens, can be observed.

For insertion into the eyeball, a straight part 6 with a short length L is formed near the base end 4, and the distal end thereof is formed into a curved radius shape. That is, the curved radius portion 5 is formed continuously at the tip of the straight portion 6. The radius of curvature R of the curved radius portion 5 of the small diameter probe tube 3 (as shown in FIG. 2) is 3 mm.
~10 mm, and the angle formed by the axial center line a of the proximal end 4 and the axial center line b of the distal end 7 - which is referred to as the direction change angle θ in this invention - is set to 60° to 120°. , and by setting the length from the curve starting point C to the leading edge 8 to 5 mm to 10 mm, the sixth
As shown in the figure, the entire area inside the eyeball A can be observed. Moreover, the outer diameter dimension d of the probe tube 3 is 1
It is preferably set to 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm, particularly 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm.
