Purpose of the invention (industrial field of application) The road studs according to this invention are installed, for example, along the center line of the road, and reflect car lights at night so that they can be seen by drivers. Used to clearly indicate the center line.

Each of the front surface 3 and rear surface 4 of the bank-like portion 2 formed at the center of the upper surface of the substrate portion 1 has a plurality of pieces (four pieces in the illustrated example, a total of eight pieces),
It is equipped with glass bulbs 5, 5 called cat's eyes. On the other hand, a leg piece 7 having a circular cross section and having a constricted part 6 at the lower end is provided at the center of the lower surface of the base plate part 1 . The thus formed road stud is installed at the center line of the road so that the side edges 1a, 1a of the base plate 1 are parallel to the road. That is, the leg pieces 7 are inserted into holes drilled at regular intervals along the center line of the road.
is inserted into the hole, and mortar or adhesive is injected into the hole to prevent the leg piece 7 from slipping out of the hole.

If you run over a road stud, this road stud will rotate and the glass bulb 5,
5 changes direction, and the function of displaying the position of the center line at night becomes insufficient. In particular, when installing road studs on an existing road that has not been newly opened, the road cannot be closed to traffic for a long time, so vehicle traffic must be resumed before the mortar and adhesive harden. , the orientation of the glass bulb is easy to change.

合が多かつた。 Furthermore, in snowy regions, snowplows are used to remove snow from roads during the winter, but road studs protruding from the road surface become a hindrance to the snow removal work. However, since conventional road studs cannot be removed once they have been installed, the road studs are often damaged when snow removal operations are carried out with the road studs in place.

The upper end of the screw hole 15 is opened at the center of the bottom surface of the engaging cylinder portion 14 . Of the outer peripheral surface of the buried piece 9,
The cross-sectional shape of at least the portion below the engaging cylinder portion 14 is non-circular, and a fin-like portion 16 that projects outward is formed at the lower end.

The buried piece 9 is inserted into the hole, and mortar or adhesive is injected into the hole to install and fix it on the road surface. Since the cross-sectional shape of the outer periphery of the buried piece 9 is non-circular, after the mortar and adhesive have hardened, the buried piece 9 is engaged with the buried piece 9 by the non-circular engagement protrusion 11 without rotating. The mated stud body 8 also does not rotate. In addition, when installing road studs on an existing road, first insert only the buried piece 9 into a hole dug in the road, inject mortar or adhesive into this hole,
After this mortar etc. hardens, the stud body 8 is attached to this buried piece 9.
Work to fix it. Therefore, there is no part protruding from the road surface before the mortar or the like hardens, and even if the vehicle's tongue passes over the buried piece 9, the buried piece 9 will not rotate.

In Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 52-138328, a road tack with separate tack body and buried piece is described in the microfilm of Utility Model Application No. 57-61579 (Utility Model Application No. 58-165015). However, in the former, the leg piece and the stud body are integrated, and in the latter, the leg piece has a structure in which two leg rods are connected by a connecting piece, and these are different from the road stud of the present invention. It is.

Effects of the invention The road studs of the invention are constructed and function as described above, but they do not rotate even if a vehicle tire runs over them, and in winter, the main body of the studs that protrudes from the road surface can be removed. Because it can be placed in the snow, it will not get in the way of snow removal work or be damaged during snow removal work.
