Description of the Related Art Heretofore, an induction machine has been attached to a power line so that the AC power generated by the induction machine when the vehicle is braked is exchanged with the DC power to be supplied to a battery and stored in the battery when the vehicle is accelerated. There has been proposed a system (electric braking and auxiliary drive device) configured to take out the electric energy, convert it into an alternating current, and supply it to the induction machine to assist the wheel drive (for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 63-63). No. 206101).

Here, the capacitor 3 is for smoothing. The electric power converted into this value flow is converted into 96 VDC by the voltage conversion circuit 7 including the chopper 4, the diode 5 and the coil 6 and stored in the battery 8. As a result, regenerative braking is performed when the vehicle is being braked. When the vehicle is accelerated or started, the induction machine 1 is used as an electric motor, the electric power stored in the battery 8 is taken out, boosted by the voltage conversion circuit 7, converted into AC by the inverter circuit 2, and input to the induction machine 1. As a result, driving assistance for acceleration and starting is performed. Further, the electric power accumulated in the battery 8 is converted into 28.0 VDC by the DC-DC converter 9 for vehicle accessories, and vehicle accessories such as a starter motor, ampere meter, thermometer, headlight, radio, air conditioner, etc. Is supplied to.
