Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は、超音波溶着ケースに関し、更に詳し
くは、ケース本体とキヤツプとを確実に且つ外観
を美しく超音波溶着することができる超音波溶着
ケースに関する。
〔従来技術〕
第4図に従来の超音波溶着ケースの一例の端面
図を示す。
この超音波溶着ケース51は、熱可塑性樹脂製
ケース本体52と、熱可塑性樹脂製キヤツプ53
とからなつている。キヤツプ53には溶着用のリ
ブ部53aが形成されている。
第5図に示すように、ケース本体52内に電子
部品Pを収容し、キヤツプ53を装着すると、キ
ヤツプ53の溶着用リブ部53aがケース本体5
2の上面52aに当接する。
ここでキヤツプ53上に超音波ウエルダーのホ
ーンHを押し付けると、当接部分が溶融して、第
6図に示すように、両者が一体に溶着される。こ
こで、54は、溶融した樹脂が一部はみ出して生
じたバリである。
〔考案が解決しようとする問題点〕
上記従来の超音波溶着ケース51において、ケ
ース本体52とキヤツプ53とを超音波溶着した
とき、第6図に示すように、溶着部分にバリ54
が形成されるが、これは製品の外観を損なうとい
う問題点がある。
しかし、このようなバリ54を発生させないよ
うに加減すると、溶着が不確実となり、信頼性が
低下する問題点がある。
さらに、溶着用リブ53aに超音波振動のエネ
ルギーが集中する割りには発熱量が小さいため、
溶着強度、密封性が悪い問題点がある。
そして、発熱量を増大するために超音波振動の
パワーを上げたり、超音波振動を与える時間を長
くすると、溶着用リブ部53aが破壊されて吹き
飛ぶことがある問題点がある。
従つて、本考案の目的とするところは、上記の
如きバリ54を生じず美観に優れ、且つ、溶着強
度、密封性に優れた超音波溶着を行うことができ
る超音波溶着ケースを提供することにある。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本考案の超音波溶着ケースは、熱可塑性樹脂製
ケース本体に熱可塑性樹脂製キヤツプを装着し、
両者を当接部分で超音波溶着する超音波溶着ケー
スにおいて、両者の当接部分のケース本体側を丸
めた面とすると共にキヤツプ側を傾斜させた面と
したことを構成上の特徴とするものである。
〔作用〕
本考案の超音波溶着ケースでは、丸めた面と傾
斜した面とが当接するため、その当接部に隣接し
て空隙部を生じ、その空隙部の充填のために溶融
した樹脂が費やされる。従つて、外部にはみだし
てバリを生じることがない。
また、当接部ですべり摩擦を生じるので、発熱
量が大きく、溶融する面積も大きくなる。従つ
て、溶着強度、密封性が向上する。
〔実施例〕
以下、図に示す実施例に基づいて本考案を更に
詳しく説明する。ここに第1図は本考案の一実施
例の超音波溶着ケースの端面図、第2図aは超音
波溶着の開始時の状態を示す端面図、第2図bは
超音波溶着前のケース本体とキヤツプの当接部分
の拡大端面図、第3図aは超音波溶着後の状態を
示す端面図、第3図bは溶着部分の拡大端面図で
ある。なお、図に示す実施例により本考案が限定
されるものではない。
第1図において、超音波溶着ケース1は、熱可
塑性樹脂製ケース本体2と、熱可塑性樹脂製キヤ
ツプ3とからなつている。
ケース本体2の側壁の上面2aと内面2bとが作
るコーナは、半径rで丸めた面2cとなつている。
一方、上記上面2aに対応するキヤツプ3の下
面3aと、上記内面2bに対応するキヤツプ3の側
面3bとが作るコーナは、下面3aと角度θをなす
傾斜した面3cとなつている。
第2図aに示すように、ケース本体2内に電子
部品Pを収納し、キヤツプ3を装着すると、ケー
ス本体2の丸めた面2cと、キヤツプ3の傾斜し
た面3aとが当接する。第2図bは、この当接部
分を拡大して示したもので、丸めた面2cと傾斜
した面3cとが当接した部分の両側に空隙5,6
を生じている。
キヤツプ3の底面台部3dは、ケース本体2に
対するキヤツプ3の位置決めに寄与し、超音波振
動を加えたときの位置ずれを防止する。また、ケ
ース本体2内に収納した電子部品Pを押さえて所
定位置に保持する働きをする。
第2図aに示すように、キヤツプ3上に超音波
ウエルダーのホーンHを押し付けると、丸めた面
cと傾斜した面3cの当接部分がすべり摩擦を生
じ、発熱して溶融する。すべり摩擦のため、発熱
量は大きく、溶融する面積が拡がる。そして、溶
けた樹脂は空隙5,6を充填するのに大部分費や
され、外部にははみ出してこない。
かくして、第3図aに示すように、ケース本体
2とキヤツプ3とが一体に溶着されるが、その溶
着強度、密封性は高く、また、バリを生じること
がない。
第3図bは溶着部分を拡大して示したもので、
ケース本体2の側壁の上面2aと、その上面2a
対応するキヤツプ3の下面3aの間には、溶けた
樹脂が僅かしか入らないので、溶着後の寸法精度
も高できる。また、ケース本体2の内面2bとそ
れに対応するキヤツプ3の側面3bの間にも、溶
けた樹脂が充填されているので、両者の溶着がよ
り強固なものとなつている。
〔考案の効果〕
本考案によれば、熱可塑性樹脂製ケース本体に
熱可塑性樹脂製キヤツプを装着し、両者を当接部
分で超音波溶着する超音波溶着ケースにおいて、
両者の当接部分のケース本体側を丸めた面とする
と共にキヤツプ側を傾斜させた面としたことを特
徴とする超音波溶着ケースが提供され、これによ
りケース本体とキヤツプとの溶着部分から溶けた
樹脂がはみ出すことがないから、美観に優れた超
音波溶着を行うことができるようになる。また、
広い面積で溶着でき、溶着強度、密封性を向上で
きる。

  1. 熱可塑性樹脂製ケース本体に熱可塑性樹脂製キ
    ヤツプを装着し、両者を当接部分で超音波溶着す
    る超音波溶着ケースにおいて、両者の当接部分の
    ケース本体側を丸めた面とすると共にキヤツプ側
    を傾斜させた面としたことを特徴とする超音波溶
    着ケース。
