Purpose of the invention (industrial application field) The structure of the watertight part at the lower corner of the double sash according to this invention is the structure of the watertight part of the lower corner of the double sash that is used for the purpose of heat insulation and soundproofing. Water tightness is maintained between the frame or the open end and the inner surface of the vertical frame that constitutes the indoor sash, so that condensed water adhering to the inner surface of the vertical frame leaks to the outside of the double sash. That is, an outdoor protrusion 7 is formed on the indoor side surface of the outdoor sash frame 4 so as to protrude toward the indoor side, and an outdoor side protrusion 7 is formed on the outdoor end of the indoor sash frame 5 and protrudes from the outdoor side and the inside of the sash frame. The indoor side protrusion 8 formed in this state means that the two protrusions 7 and 8 are overlapped with spacers 9 provided intermittently between them, and a screw 10 is inserted through a circular hole formed in the indoor side protrusion 8. is screwed onto the outdoor side protrusion 7 and tightened to form the indoor side sash frame 5 having the indoor side protrusion 8.
and an outdoor sash frame 4 having an outdoor protrusion 7. The heat insulating material 6 attached to the locking groove 12 formed on the outdoor end edge of the indoor sash frame 5 is brought into contact with the indoor side surface of the outdoor sash frame 4, and the insulation material 6 is attached to both the indoor and outdoor sash frames 4, We are trying to insulate the space between 5 and 5.

The wood around the inside of the opening may rot (in the case of a wooden building), or the reinforcing bars exposed inside the opening for fixing each sash frame 4 and 5 may corrode (in the case of a concrete or steel frame building). If the width of the indoor sash frame 5 becomes smaller than the width of the outdoor sash frame 4 by moving it to the chain line a position in the figure, the sliding door shoji 15 built inside the indoor sash frame 5 may The width dimension and the width dimension of the sliding door shoji 15 built inside the outdoor sash frame 4 no longer match, and the sliding door shoji 15 built inside the indoor sash frame 5 and the sliding door shoji 15 built inside the outdoor sash frame 4 are built inside. It becomes necessary to prepare different types of sliding door shoji 15, making manufacturing of sliding door shoji and parts management troublesome. Also, as a result of the vertical frame 3 of the indoor sash frame 5 protruding inward (to the right in Figure 10) than the vertical frame 3 of the outdoor sash frame 4, the sliding door shoji 15 built into the outdoor sash frame 4 is closed. It becomes difficult to move from the state to the released state because the vertical frame 3 gets in the way of the indoor-side sash frame 5. Furthermore, when both the sliding door shoji 15 built inside the indoor sash frame 5 and the sliding door shoji 15 built inside the outdoor sash frame 4 are moved to the closed state, both sash frames 4, 5 The vertical frames 16, 16 of the inner sliding door shoji 15, 15 no longer match, resulting in an unsightly appearance.

作費、部品管理費低減の面から好ましくない。 If the indoor-side sash frame 5 and the outdoor-side sash frame 4 are formed integrally, the indoor-side protrusion 8, which obstructs the use of a sheet-like sealing material, can be omitted, and all of the above-mentioned inconveniences can be eliminated. However, if both the sash frames 4 and 5 are integrally formed, manufacturing of the sash frame becomes troublesome. That is, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, when the indoor sash frame 5 and the outdoor sash frame 4, which are formed separately, are joined together to form a double sash, one or both of the sash frames may be Since a conventional single-ply sash can be used as the frame (in the illustrated example, the outdoor sash frame 4), the effort to create a new extrusion mold for making the sash frame can be reduced or omitted. However, it is not preferable to manufacture a sash frame exclusively for double sashes that is not versatile from the viewpoint of reducing production costs and parts management costs for the sash frame.

By inserting the tapping screw 22 inserted from the inside through a circular hole 21 formed on the inner surface of the lower end of the inner protrusion 8 into the circular hole 23 formed in the fixing block 17 and tightening, the indoor protrusion 8 is tightened. Fix it at the bottom end. The lower end of this indoor protrusion 8 is slightly cut out so as to be positioned above the lower end of the vertical frame 3, and the fixing block 17 is attached to the lower adhesive part 17b. The packing is fixed in such a state that the inner side part of the upper chamber abuts the indoor side protrusion 8 and the lower part is exposed below the indoor side protrusion 8. The lower end of the outdoor protrusion 7 of the outdoor sash frame 4 is cut out as shown in FIG. 20 so as not to interfere with the further fixation.

One end of the packing 18 affixed to b protrudes further outdoors than this extension 24 in a free state. Therefore, when the watertight block 19 is fitted into the groove 20, the packing 18
One end is connected to the indoor side of the outdoor sash frame 4,
Watertightness is maintained between the packing 18 and the outdoor sash frame 4.

Effects of the invention Since the structure of the watertight part of the lower corner of the double sash of this invention is configured and operates as described above, moisture does not adhere to the inner surface of the sash frame due to condensation of water vapor, etc. Even in such cases, this moisture will not leak to the outer periphery of the sash frame, and it will not rot the wood around the opening where the double sash frame is installed, or it will not leak out to the inner periphery of the opening to secure the sash frame. There is no need to corrode the reinforcing steel.
