性の優れたマツトを形成せしめたものである。 That is, as shown in Fig. 2, the present invention consists of a surface layer (hereinafter referred to as layer A) made of a woven fabric or non-woven fabric, a liquid retaining layer (hereinafter referred to as layer B) obtained by the melt-blown method and having a water retention rate of 3 times or more, and a water retaining layer (hereinafter referred to as layer B) made of a woven or nonwoven fabric. The mat is composed of at least three layers including an impermeable water-impermeable layer (hereinafter referred to as C layer), and these at least three layers are integrated by fusing at the edges, resulting in excellent liquid retention and handling properties. was formed.

Woven or non-woven fabrics of 50 to 200 g/m 2 are used. It is preferable that the material of the A layer is water permeable and designed so that water on the surface of the A layer is transferred to the B layer and at the same time, water that has once transferred to the B layer is prevented from returning to the A layer surface as much as possible. To achieve this objective, it is effective to use, for example, a spunbond nonwoven fabric made of synthetic fibers such as nylon, polypropylene, or polyester for the A layer, and to insert a bulky nonwoven fabric between the A layer and the B layer.

A nonwoven fabric having a weight of 500 g/m 2 , preferably 100 to 300 g/m 2 and a water retention rate of 3 times or more is used. Here, the water retention rate is calculated by immersing a 10cm x 10cm sample piece in water for 3 minutes, then pulling it up and spreading the sample on a wire mesh.
Calculate from the increase in weight of the sample after allowing it to stand for a minute. Examples of melt-blown nonwoven fabrics that meet these conditions include polyamide resins such as nylon 6 and nylon 6-6, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, polyolefin resins such as kneaded or hydrophilic polyethylene and polypropylene, and polyester resins. Examples include nonwoven fabrics obtained from resins and the like.
