Conventionally, high-strength bolt friction welding technology has been widely adopted, in which joint members are tightened with high-strength bolts and construction materials are joined to each other by the frictional force generated between the joint members. Since the condition of the friction surface of the construction material greatly affects the sliding strength of the joint, it is necessary to remove scales such as iron oxide films that form on the surface of the construction material during hot or cold rolling, etc. prior to construction. It is considered desirable to remove the scale and naturally generate red rust on the scale-removed surface to use it as a friction surface for the joint.

得ることができなくなるという問題があつた。 By the way, a disk grinder or the like is usually used for such scale removal work, but
In such a disk grinder, the grinding disk is completely fixed to the spindle, so if the grinding disk or handle shakes or vibrates during work due to vibration of the disk grinder itself or roughness of the surface of the construction material, the grinding disk will respond to the vibration. This disturbs the contact state between the grinding disk and the workpiece, and not only the scale but also the base material of the construction material is scraped off irregularly, making it difficult to obtain a good friction surface for high-strength bolt friction joining. There was a problem that I couldn't do it.

When scale is removed using a disk grinder with a grinding disk completely fixed to the spindle, slight vibrations and vibrations of the handle and grinding disk are directly transmitted to each other via the spindle, causing the scale of the construction material to be removed. There is a problem in that it is not possible to remove only the grinding disk properly, and the present invention is an attempt to solve this problem. The present invention aims to provide a grinding device that stably maintains a state of contact with a workpiece.

The plate thickness of the connecting portion 15 located at the center of the upper surface of the grinding disk 12 is smaller than the height dimension of the upright end faces 7 and 8, and the connecting portion 15 has a plate thickness at the center of the connecting portion 15 with respect to the cross-sectional shape of the boss portion 6. By forming a center hole 16 which has a slightly larger similar shape and can be loosely fitted into the boss part 6, and by loosely fitting the grinding disk 12 into the boss part 6 through the center hole 16, such grinding can be carried out. The disk 12 rotates integrally with the spindle 2 and has a boss portion 6 and a center hole 16.

The connecting portion 15 is resiliently biased downward by the disc spring 10 in order to support the grinding disk 12 in a direction in which its axial center coincides with the axial center of the spindle 2 through an elastic force of 0. A stopper 17 whose bottom surface can be supported in abutting orthogonal contact with the axis of the spindle 2 is screwed and fixed to the fixing screw 3 of the spindle 2 at a position where its upper end surface abuts the lower end surface of the boss portion 6.
Therefore, the bottom surface of the connecting portion 15 of the grinding disk 12 is pressed against the stopper 17 by the resilient force of the disc spring 10, and the axis of the grinding disk 12 is aligned with the axis of the spindle 2. When an external force is applied to the disk spring 10 to resist the elastic force, the grinding disk 12 tilts within a predetermined range with respect to the axis of the spindle 2, and also tilts in the vertical direction. sliding displacement to.

する。 When a motor (not shown) built into the handle part 1 is activated, the rotation of the spring seat 4, which rotates integrally with the spindle 2, is transmitted to the grinding disk 12 through the center hole 16 fitted into the boss part 6 thereof. At this time, the disk spring 10 uses its elastic force to press the grinding disk 12 against the stopper 17 and urge the axis of the disk 12 in a direction that coincides with the axis of the spindle 2. In this state, the scale on the surface of the construction material is removed by pressing the grinding device itself downward so that the grinding chip 13 on the bottom side of the grinding disk 12 comes into contact with the surface of the construction material and shifting it back and forth and left and right.

ことなくスケールだけが良好に除去される。 During this scale removal work, the grip portion 1 and the grinding disk 1 are usually damaged due to vibrations of the motor, roughness of the surface of the construction material, and further movement of the grinding device itself.
Although the grinding disk 12 swings or vibrates slightly, the grinding disk 12 is loosely fitted into the boss portion 6 through the center hole 16 so that its axis can be tilted within a predetermined range with respect to the axis of the spindle 2, and , because the disk 12 is pressed against the stopper 17 by the elastic force of the disk spring 10 and urged in a direction in which the axial center of the disc 12 coincides with the axial center of the spindle 2. The boss portion 6 of the seat 4 and the grinding disk 12 into which it is loosely fitted are slidably displaced relative to each other by the elastic force of the disc spring, and their axes can be tilted relative to each other. The vibrations and vibrations of the grinding disk 12 and the grinding disk 12 are not directly transmitted to each other via the spindle 2, and the disc spring 10 absorbs the vibrations and shocks of the grinding disk 12 and the handle 1.
The grinding disk 12 maintains good surface contact with the surface of the construction material, thereby allowing only scale to be removed without damaging the base material.

The upward displacement causes the disc spring 10 to be elastically deformed, but the upper limit position of the upward displacement of the connecting portion 15 is regulated by the upper edge of the upright end surfaces 8 and 9, and the annular step The area around the through hole 11 of the disc spring 10 fitted in the spring 9 is not compressed repeatedly by the upper surface of the connecting portion 15, and cracks easily occur around the through hole 11 due to impact load or fatigue. blocked.

Furthermore, in order to enable the grinding disk 12 to rotate integrally with the spindle 2 based on the shape of the center hole 16 and the boss portion 6 fitted therein, the shapes of the center hole and the boss portion are limited to the shapes of the above embodiments. However, it can be set to an appropriate shape such as hexagonal or octagonal.

In the grinding device of the present invention, the grinding disk is loosely fitted into the boss portion of the spring seat integrated with the spindle through its center hole so that the axis of the grinding disk can be tilted within a predetermined range with respect to the axis of the spindle. and,
The elastic force of the disc spring interposed between the spring seat and the grinding disk allows the grinding disk to slide on the boss portion of the spring seat, and the axis of the grinding disk coincides with the axis of the spindle. Because it is biased in the direction, when moving the grinding disk while pressing it against the surface of the workpiece during grinding work such as scale removal work, vibrations of the motor, roughness of the surface of the workpiece, and even damage to the grinding device itself can be caused. Even if the handle or grinding disk shakes or vibrates slightly due to movement, the boss of the spring seat and the grinding disk loosely fitted into it will not slide against each other against the elastic force of the disc spring. Since the handle part and the grinding disk can be tilted due to dynamic displacement, such vibrations and shocks of the handle part and the grinding disk are absorbed by the disc spring and are not directly transmitted to each other through the drill spindle, but between the grinding disk and the grinding disk. A well-finished ground surface can be obtained by maintaining good surface contact with the surface of the workpiece.

を有する。 By using a disc spring, the biasing force that tends to align the axis of the grinding disk with the axis of the spindle can be made relatively large compared to its external dimensions. It is possible to downsize the support structure of the grinding disk while maintaining a stable support state.
That is, a disc spring can obtain a relatively large load capacity in a small space in the load direction. In other words, the amount of deflection of a disc spring against an axial load is much smaller than that of a coil spring or the like. According to the grinding device according to the present invention to which this disc spring is applied, the distance from the spindle base end of the handle to the grinding disk can be shortened, and the grinding disk can be pressed against the surface of the workpiece while being integrated with the handle. Grinding work performed by moving the grinding disk can be stabilized. Furthermore, the structure of the present invention supports the elastic force of the disc spring with the stopper that comes into contact with the back side of the grinding disk.
Due to its assembly structure, the equilibrium state with respect to the elastic force of the disc spring is relatively stable, and when the grinding disk is pressed against the surface of the workpiece, the handle does not naturally wobble, and the surface of the workpiece is The pressing state of the grinding disk against the surface of the workpiece is stable. Therefore, the grinding device of the present invention has the excellent effect of stably and safely performing grinding work.

る。 In addition, by forming a flat part on the outer peripheral surface of the boss part of the spring seat and making the center hole of the grinding disk similar in shape to the cross-sectional shape of that part, it is possible to easily rotate the grinding disk integrally with the spindle. It can be made possible. Furthermore, by forming the flat part halfway along the axial direction of the boss part of the spring seat,
By forming a roughly annular step that is slightly larger than the plate thickness of the spring and into which the through hole of the spring can be inserted between the upper end edge of the flat part and the lower end surface of the flange of the spring seat, the grinding disk can be formed. When the spring is elastically deformed by being upwardly displaced along the outer peripheral surface of the boss portion of the spring seat through its center hole, the upper limit position at which the grinding disk is upwardly displaced is determined by the upper edge of the flat portion. Because of this, the area around the through hole of the spring fitted in the annular step is not compressed repeatedly and impactively by the upper surface of the grinding disk, and the area around the through hole of the spring fitted into the annular step is not compressed repeatedly by the upper surface of the grinding disk, and the area around the through hole of the spring is not compressed by the upper surface of the grinding disk. It is possible to prevent a situation where a crack easily occurs.
