However, in the conventional snap attaching method described above, since the work of taking out the bags one by one is done manually, the work is complicated and the efficiency is low. Additionally, there is the problem that snap installation work is dangerous for workers.
It has been desired to automate and save labor in the work of taking out the bag and attaching the snaps, but since the workpiece being handled is a film-like bag with no rigidity, it has not been possible to automate this series of work in the past. I couldn't do it.

4, a span adjustment section 60 constituting the base of the first snap placement device 10 is fixed. In the span adjustment section 60, a pair of fixed plates 61 that are parallel to each other are vertically provided on the fixed table 14. These fixing plates 61 are formed in a rectangular shape, and mounting holes are provided at each of the four corners so as to face each other.
Four guide shafts 62 are fixed at both ends of each of the fixing plates 61 in parallel to each other. In the center of these guide shafts 62, there is a guide shaft 6
A drive shaft 63 is provided in parallel with 2. The drive shaft 63 has a right-handed screw thread on one end of the intermediate portion, and a left-handed screw thread on the other end. Both ends of this drive shaft 63 are supported by bearings 64 provided on both fixed plates 61, respectively.
Furthermore, one end of the fixed plate 61a side is the fixed plate 6
It protrudes outward from 1a. One end of this protruding drive shaft 63 is located on the outside of one fixed plate 61a.

6. Then, the guide shaft 62
A pair of movable plates 67 are slidably provided via bearings 68, and the drive shaft 63 is engaged with a nut portion 69 fixed at the center of each movable plate 67. Therefore, when the drive motor 66 is driven and the drive shaft 63 is rotated, each movable plate 67 moves along each guide shaft 62, and the threading direction of the drive shaft 63 changes from the middle of the drive shaft 63. Since they are reversed, each movable plate 67 can be moved simultaneously so as to always maintain the same distance from the center, and thereby the distance between both movable plates 67 can be arbitrarily set according to the opening width of the bag W. It's becoming like that.

That is, when the sensors of the second and fourth stations S2 and S4 detect a location where the snaps 2 and 3 are not attached to the bag W, the bag W is determined to be a defective product and is moved directly to the fifth station S5. When the solenoid 47 is activated, the bag holding device 9 releases its hold on the bag W and causes the bag W to fall.

As explained above, the snap installation device of the present invention can always attach one pair of male or female snaps to a ready-made bag by caulking them with a cylinder. Therefore, it is possible to automate the conventional manual work of attaching snaps to bags, which improves work efficiency and saves labor, reducing work costs. This has the effect of being able to reduce the amount.
