[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a noncombustible packing for ducts. More specifically, it is made from a felt-like base material made of non-combustible fibers and has a rectangular cross section consisting of two spaced parallel surfaces and inner and outer end surfaces substantially perpendicular to the parallel surfaces. The present invention also relates to a packing for a duct in which the two parallel surfaces are used as flange contact surfaces that closely contact the flange during use, and the inner and outer end surfaces are exposed to the gas within the duct or the atmosphere. [Prior Art] Asbestos packings or rubber packings such as neoprene are conventionally known as packings used for flange joints of ducts. On the other hand, a wind duct in which ducts are connected by a slide-on flange construction method or a double-plate flange construction method is known as a new construction method wind duct. [Problems to be solved by the invention] Due to the purpose of use, air ducts are required to have no sanitary or environmental gaps, and are required to be nonflammable according to the provisions of the Building Standards Act. In addition, the slide-on flange construction method or double-plate flange construction method used for the new construction method wind channel is a construction method that uses bolts and nuts to tighten at the four corners.
The tightening force applied to the packing is not as strong as the tightening force of 100 mm pitch bolts and nuts in the angle flange construction method, so it is necessary to use a packing that has a sealing effect with a low tightening force. Furthermore, the packing is required to have sufficient airtightness. From this point of view, the previously known gaskets described above do not reach a satisfactory level of performance. In other words, asbestos packing is nonflammable and has excellent airtightness, but from the perspective of malignant diseases such as asbestos lung and lung cancer that occur after long incubation due to raw material asbestos,
It is virtually impossible to use it as a raw material for packing in the future. The excellent airtightness of asbestos packing is said to be due to the fact that the fiber diameter of the asbestos raw material is extremely thin (0.1 to 0.2 μm) compared to other fibers. On the other hand, a rubber gasket made of closed cells such as neoprene has high airtightness, but since it is an organic material, even if it can be imparted with flame retardance, it cannot be rendered non-flammable. Therefore, attempts have been made to make noncombustible packing using other noncombustible materials similar to asbestos, such as glass wool, rock wool, or ceramic fibers. However, these fibers have a larger fiber diameter (1.5 to 6 μm) than asbestos fibers, and therefore, noncombustible packing made from these fibers has low airtightness and is not practical. The present invention solves the problems of conventionally known duct packings, and provides a nonflammable packing for ducts that is nonflammable, has excellent airtightness, and has no hygiene problems, and a noncombustible packing for ducts that is noncombustible and has excellent airtightness. The purpose is to provide a flange assembly. [Means for solving the problem] The non-combustible packing for ducts according to the present invention is made from a felt-like base material using glass wool, rock wool or ceramic fiber as non-combustible fibers,
A noncombustible packing for a duct having a rectangular cross section consisting of two parallel surfaces spaced apart from each other and inner and outer end surfaces substantially orthogonal to the parallel surfaces, the two parallel surfaces forming a flange in use. A heat-resistant resin is coated on the inner and outer end surfaces of the gasket, which are exposed to the gas inside the duct or the atmosphere by being used as the flange contact surface that comes into close contact with the gasket. The airtightness of the packing is improved, and an adhesive is applied to one of the flange abutment surfaces of the non-combustible packing, and a release paper is stuck to the outside thereof. As the heat-resistant resin, silicone resin can be used. By peeling off the release paper and pasting the thus obtained noncombustible packing onto a separately manufactured duct flange, a duct flange and noncombustible packing combination can be made with an extremely simple operation. [Function of the invention] When the non-combustible packing for ducts according to the invention is used, high airtightness can be provided because the exposed surface exposed during use is coated with at least a heat-resistant resin. Also, since non-combustible fibers are used, there are no restrictions on building standards. [Embodiments] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings showing embodiments of the non-combustible packing for ducts of the present invention. FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of an embodiment of the non-combustible packing for ducts of the present invention. In the noncombustible packing 1 for ducts shown in FIG. 1, the exposed surfaces 6a and 6b of the felt-like base 2 made of a plurality of noncombustible fibers 3, that is, the upper and lower end surfaces 6a and 6b in FIG.
is coated. In the figure, 5a and 5b are contact surfaces that come into contact with the flange during use. FIG. 2 shows a sectional view of another embodiment of the non-combustible packing for ducts of the present invention. In the noncombustible packing for ducts shown in FIG. 2, the entire felt-like base 2 is impregnated with a heat-resistant resin 4'. FIGS. 3 and 4 show the case where the non-combustible packing for ducts of the present invention is used to connect a common plate flange (FIG. 3) and a slide-on flange (FIG. 4). In FIG. 3, the noncombustible packing 1 is held between two common plate flanges 7, 7'.
In FIG. 4, the noncombustible packing 1 is held between two slide-on flanges 8, 8'.
In FIG. 4, 9 and 9' indicate ducts. In order to facilitate attachment of the non-combustible packing for ducts of the present invention to the flange, adhesive is applied to one of the contact surfaces of the non-combustible packing (for example, the contact surface 6a in the case of the embodiment shown in Fig. 1). However, it is preferable to prepare a non-flammable packing with a release paper pasted on the outside (not shown). Using the non-combustible packing 1 constructed in this way, first remove the release paper to expose the adhesive coating layer 12,
It is preferable to attach it to the contact surface 11 of the flange 7 as shown in FIG. By preparing the duct flange to which the noncombustible packing 1 is fixed and the noncombustible packing assembly in this way, it is possible to easily and accurately assemble two flanges as shown in FIG. 3 or 4. can. In other words, since the noncombustible packing 1 is precisely fixed in advance at a predetermined position on the abutment surface 11 of one flange, when the duct is placed on the building site, it can be simply aligned with the other flange and tightened by bolting, etc. Therefore, the ducts can be connected with high airtightness without adjusting the position between the two flanges of the non-combustible packing 1. In order to apply heat-resistant resin to the exposed surfaces 6a and 6b of the non-combustible packing of the embodiment shown in FIG.
For example, a felt base material with a thickness of 6 mm, a width of 10 mm, and a length of 10 m may be wound into a spiral shape, and both sides of the spiral body may be coated with a heat-resistant resin. When the non-combustible packing is used between two flanges, both sides of the spiral body become exposed surfaces. The amount of application varies depending on the purpose of the non-combustible packing used, but for example,
It is sufficient to apply 100 g/m 2 to 400 g/m 2 of a 30% concentration heat-resistant resin. Next, a non-combustible packing shown in Fig. 1 was made using rock wool, and its performance was compared with conventional packing. FIG. 6 shows the results of an airtightness test for three types of packing according to the present invention: a non-combustible packing (using rock wool), a neoprene rubber packing, and a rock wool packing. The test was conducted using a 1000mm x 1000mm square MEZ flange and measuring the amount of air leakage when the duct internal pressure was changed. As shown in FIG. 5, the non-combustible packing according to the present invention has superior airtightness compared to conventional rock wool packing, and has airtightness equivalent to that of neoprene rubber packing. When the non-combustible packing of the present invention was left in a furnace heated to 280°C for 30 minutes and the change in airtightness was examined, it was found that the airtightness tended to improve after heating. This shows that the nonflammable packing according to the present invention has sufficient noncombustibility for practical use. Next, durability tests were conducted on the non-combustible packing of the present invention and the chloroprene rubber packing by 200-hour irradiation using a Sunshine Weather Meter according to JIS7113 and JISA1415. The results obtained are shown in Table 1.

[Table] As shown in Table 1, the non-combustible packing of the present invention exhibits almost the same durability as chloroprene rubber packing.
[Effects of the Invention] Since the non-combustible packing for ducts of the present invention is constructed as described above, it is non-combustible, has excellent airtightness, and has sufficient durability for practical use. Moreover, it does not cause any hygiene problems.
