Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はパツキングコンテナの密封フイン(ひ
れ状の部分)を処理する装置に関する。この装置
は2個の協働する処理あご部と、該処理あご部を
移動させる移送台と駆動装置で構成される。
〔先行技術〕
尾根形パツケージまたは切妻屋根式パツケージ
を積載紙台で形成して充填する型の機械では、中
味の充填後にパツキングコンテナの尾根形上部を
密封し整形する。頂上部の密封面同志を密封する
際、パツキング積層板の熱塑性表面層が接着剤と
して利用される。このためパツキングコンテナ
は、加熱成形のステーシヨンを通過する。ここで
密封面は加熱され熱塑性の層が溶ける。頂上部は
機械的に成形されほぼ最終的な尾根の形になり、
処理あご部により上方の密封面が圧縮され密封さ
れる。処理あご部で両側から密封面を圧縮し冷却
するので熱塑性層は結合され、かたい完全な密封
が得られる。以上の処理をする周知の機械は例え
ばスウエーデンの特許第361857号に記載されてい
る。
頂上部の密封フインを最終的に処理し、密封す
る上記既知の型式の機械では、協働する一対の処
理あご部が設けられている。処理あご部は、非動
作位置では互にある距離で置かれており、パツキ
ングの頂上部が互の間に導入される。パツキング
コンテナは、頂上フインが固定あるいはばね懸架
された一方の処理あご部に接続するよう、コンベ
ヤにより正確な処理位置にもたらされる。次い
で、他方の非駆動側処理あご部が動作され、すな
わち駆動装置によつて密封フインと接触する作動
位置に移動させられ、これにより密封フインは圧
縮される。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
リンク機構で2つの対向処理あご部を移動さ
せ、その作用面同志でコンテナの両側壁を挟むこ
とにより、互に接合密封する場合に、リンク機構
のリンク間の軸承の附随のガタが累積し、コンテ
ナの両側壁の狭持圧力を精確に得ることが困難で
ある。また処理あご部の作用面の最終狭持位置を
精確に同じ位置に致らしめることも困難である。
上記問題を解決するため、ばね等の弾性手段を
介して処理あご部を担持させ、ガタで生じる位置
誤差および狭持誤差を吸収することも提案されて
いるが、さらにばね等をリンク機構内に追加する
ためにリンク機構の複雑がさらに倍加する。
さらに従来の処理あご部は、ほほ直接的に案内
されてコンテナの側壁を挟むが、コンテナの側壁
は、処理あご部の下方にヒンジ線のまわりに枢動
運動して内方に折りまげられて互に接合される。
すなわち処理あご部が直線運動するのに対し、コ
ンテナの側壁は円弧運動する。このため狭持作用
により、コンテナの側壁は処理あご部の作用面上
をすべつてしまい、確実に接合密封ができない。
この点を解決するべく処理あごの部の作用面をコ
ンテナの側壁の円弧運動に追従するリンク機構も
考えられるが、リンク機構をさらに複雑にすると
ともにリンク継手の軸承の数が増加するから、さ
らに上述のガタの問題も解決する。さらには複雑
さのため整備の手間がかかり、コスト高となる。
寸法公差を低減したり、ばねの懸架部等を変更
することによつて以上の問題を克服しようとする
努力がなされている。しかし、このためコスト高
の設計となり、また保守作業がひんぱんとなり、
正確さが要求され連続的な操業をするパツシング
機械においては不適当である。
従つて、本発明の目的は上述の欠点を解消した
頂上部圧縮ステーシヨンを有するパツキング装置
を提供することである。
さらに本発明の他の1つの目的は、設計が簡単
で遊びや欠陥の生じる運動部品を僅かしか含まな
い頂上部圧縮用装置を提供することである。
本発明のさらなり目的は、簡単かつ正確に作動
し、低コストで製造できる頂上部圧縮用装置を提
供することである。
〔問題を解決する手段〕
上記目的を達成させるべく、本発明によれば、
二つの処理あご部の対向作用面間で狭持してパツ
キングコンテナの密封フインを処理するコンテナ
処理装置において、 互いにほぼ平行に延在するように機械フレーム
に互いに隔置して設けた弾性支柱と、該弾性支柱
の上方部分にそれぞれ設けられ、該弾性支柱から
その間の内方へ延在し、かつ前記二つの処理あご
部をそれぞれ担持する二つの移送台と、前記弾性
支柱を弾性変形させて該移送台を移動せしめて、
前記処理あご部を互いに接近させ、その作用面同
志で前記フインを両側から圧するようにする動作
位置に至らしめるとともに、該処理あご部を互い
に遠ざけて前記作用面同志が隔置した非動作位置
に至らしめる駆動手段とを有することを特徴とす
るコンテナ処理装置が提供される。
〔作用〕
本発明による装置は、融通性があり、設計およ
び取扱いが容易であり、また高精度で作動させる
ことができる。すなわち処理あご部をばね懸架の
移送台により移動させるようにした従来行なわれ
なかつた解決策によつて達成される。双方のあご
部を駆動させて精度を向上し、密封に欠陥が生じ
る危険を低減する。何故ならば運動部品を少なく
して作業の信頼性と精度を向上させるからであ
る。
以上の本発明の構成によれば、処理あご部は、
弾性支柱の先端部に支持されて、弾性支柱のたわ
みにより互に遠近するようになつているのでリン
ク継手のための軸承の数が少なくてすみ、ガタの
問題が低減できる。また弾性たわみにより位置誤
差、狭持圧力誤差も吸収できる。
さらに処理あご部は、弾性支柱の基端部のまわ
りの枢動運動で円弧状の運動をするため、パツキ
ングコンテナの側壁の円弧運動に追従させるよう
にすることができる。
処理あこ部を支持した弾性支柱が変位運動でき
るために処理あご部を移動させるリンク機構が必
要とならず、構成が簡略化できる。
また構成が簡略化できるために設備などの手間
がはぶけ、コストを低減できる。
〔実施例〕
本発明による装置の、好適な実施例を添付の概
略図を参照して、詳細に説明する。これらの概略
図は本発明を理解するうえで必要な部品を示して
いる。
本発明による装置は、台紙から内容物を充填し
たコンテナに成形する周知の型式のパツキング機
械に適用するようにされている。このパツキング
機械は、例えば特許明細書内に図示されている。
機械にはパツキングコンテナ用台紙が供給され
る。台紙に皺または折りたたみ線が付けられ折り
曲げられて密封され、ほぼ正方形の断面のコンテ
ナが成形される。台紙はパツキング積層紙から製
造される。この積層紙は芯部の紙製担体層を含
み、担体層の両方側を熱可塑性層で蔽われて構成
される。熱可塑性層はポリエチレン製であり、パ
ツキング材料を液密とし、また密封に際し接着剤
の役割もする。各々のパツキング用台紙がパツキ
ング機械内に導入され、マンドレル上に置かれ、
さらにマンドレル上に加熱用と成形用の装置がそ
れぞれ作用しパツキング材料の台紙の各部を下り
まげ成形して液密の平坦な底が形成される。次い
で、パツキング材料台紙はコンベヤにより複数の
ステーシヨンを通過させられて、目的内容物、例
えばミルクが充填される。所定量充填後、液面上
の方のパツキングコンテナの壁の部分が下り曲げ
られ、突出する密封部をもつた尾根型の頂上が成
形される。すなわち、パツキングコンテナは折り
曲げ動作ステーシヨンを通過され、パツキングコ
ンテナの頂上部を形成する壁面が下り曲げられ、
所望形状の頂部が与えられる。次いで頂部は加熱
され、熱可塑性材料が軟化し、密封される。
本発明の装置は、この密封作業を確実に行うも
のである。まず、装置はパツキング機械の製品排
出口附近で、成形、充填処理するべくパツキング
コンテナ台紙2をパツキング機械を通して移動す
るコンベヤ1(第2図)に沿つて配置される。コ
ンベヤ1はパツキングコンテナを間歇的に各ステ
ーシヨン間を移動させる。
本発明による装置は2つの処理あご部3を含
む。これらの処理あご部はコンベヤの上方で、コ
ンベヤによりパツキングコンテナ2の頂上のフイ
ン4が処理あご部の間のほとんど真中に持たされ
るように配置させられている。処理あご部3は互
に向き合う平面の作業表面を有する。これらの表
面は、頂上のフインと付着しないような種類の材
料、例えばテトラフラルオロエチレンで蔽つても
よい。処理あご部3に冷却用通路を設けるように
すると有利である。この通路に例えば水が通さ
れ、処理あご部3間にクランプンされた頂上フイ
ンを冷却し密封を促進するようにすることができ
る。
処理あご部3は各々移送台5と6によつて支持
されている。この移送台は、パツキングコンテナ
2の上方にある距離へだててほぼ水平に配置さ
れ、よつてパツキングコンテナ2は、移送台の下
方を自由に通過することができるようになつてい
る。第1図は、上面図であり、移送台5はほぼH
−字形をしており、他方移送台6は、ほぼ矩形の
形をしている。H字形の移送台5の脚は、互にほ
ぼ平行に矩形の移送台6の長辺のすぐ外側を延在
し、また移送台5の中央部の横板部分は移送台6
の下側に延在している。移送台5並びに移送台6
はパツキング機械のフレーム7にばね装置8及び
9によつて連結されて支持される。ばね装置8,
9は垂直の板ばねから構成される。各板ばねは、
各端で機械のフレーム7と移送台5と6にそれぞ
れしつかりと固定される。
H字形移送台5の横板部分は互に対向する処理
あご部3の一方を支持し、その処理あご部3の作
用面が矩形の移送台6の1短辺側面で支持された
処理あご部に向くようにされている。矩形の移送
台6の他方の短辺とこれに向い合うH字形移送台
5の横板部分の側部に、移送台5と6は垂直に延
在するピストン棒12にリンク10と11により
それぞれ結合されている。リンク10と11はそ
れぞれ移送台5および移送台6に設けた溝内で水
平軸の周りに枢動することができる。この水平軸
の直下においてピストン棒12の上端にも水平軸
が設けられ、この水平軸の周りでリンク10と1
1が枢動するようになつている。リンク、水平軸
とでなるリンク機構は、ピストン棒を介して機械
(図示されない)の主軸に嵌合されたカムと連結
している。このカムが回転することによりピスト
ン棒は、垂直方向に往復する。この垂直往復運動
はリンク10と11を介して互に反対向きの水平
運動に変えられ、処理あご部3が交互にかつ相互
に遠近する。このために必要な互に逆向き移送台
5と6の運動は、ばね8,9がなす懸架運動によ
り可能となる。すなわちばね装置8と9が無負荷
重状態、即ち装置が図示のあご部3を開いた休止
位置にあるときは、これらのばね8,9は、ほぼ
直立している。
装置が作動すると、パツキングコンテナ2がコ
ンベヤ1によつて、折りたたみ接着動作ステーシ
ヨンから、開いた2つの処理あご部3の間の中央
の位置まで移動する。この位置にパツキングコン
テナ2が達すると、コンベヤの運動が止まる(第
2図参照)。この位置で装置は駆動装置を介して
作動され、ピストン棒12が垂直上方に動き、そ
の結果リンクの一端は上昇させられる。このため
移送台5と6内に枢動可能に取り付けられたリン
クの他端が互に離れる方向に移動する。よつて移
送台5は図で右方に向かつて動かされ、また移送
台6は左方向に動かされる。ピストン棒12は機
械フレームによつて案内され、移送台の運動を対
称的にするようにできる。よつて処理あご部3は
互の方向に向かつて移動し、コンベヤ1の従方向
中心線の真上の位置に正確に移動させられる。こ
の移動に際して、ばね8と9は曲げられる。この
ため、処理あご部は水平方向に真つ直ぐ移動する
のでなく、下方に旋回運動をする。この旋回運動
はパツキングコンテナ上部の対向壁面が互の方向
に向かつて案内され曲げられる際の旋回運動と部
分的に一致する。よつて上記対向壁面は、下方に
ある軸の周りに枢動した後接合され、頂上フイン
が形成される。よつて処理あご部の作用面と頂上
のフインの壁面との間の滑りが好適に減少し、密
封の品質を向上する。移送台5,6の枢動点と処
理あご部3を、共通な水平面内に位置させること
により最小とすることができる。このため、ばね
の耐久性に影響する捩り応力を回避することがで
きる。
〔効果〕
以上の記載によつて、ばね8と9は処理あご部
3または移送台5と6と共働して平行四辺形機構
と同様に動作し、結果としてリンク機構10,1
1,12が操作されると、水平方向の力を失なう
ことなく変位される。ばねを用い、移送台の支持
に従来のリンク機構を用いないため、軸承嵌合な
どで生じる誤差の原因をなくすことができるとと
もに、保守と潤滑の頻度をかなり低減することが
できる。ばね9としての板ばねをしつかりと移送
台および機械フレームに取り付けることにより、
がたなどが発生せず摩耗の問題がない。また運動
部品の数が低減されているので潤滑の必要性が少
ない。このため食品を取扱う機械に非常に好都合
である。
具体的実施例の効果によればばねにより移送台
を弾力によつて懸垂すると共に機械フレームでピ
ストン棒12を側方で案内しているので、コンベ
ヤの中心線の真上で処理あご部3を正確にかつ容
易に接合させることができ、また摩耗等の悪影響
が少ない。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 二つの処理あご部3の対向作用面間で狭持し
    てパツキングコンテナの密封フインを処理するコ
    ンテナ処理装置において、 互いにほぼ平行に延在するように機械フレーム
    7に互いに隔置して設けた弾性支柱8,9と、該
    弾性支柱8,9の先端部分にそれぞれ設けられ、
    該弾性支柱8,9からその間の内方へ延在し、か
    つ前記二つの処理あご部3をそれぞれ担持する二
    つの移送台5,6と、前記弾性支柱8,9を弾性
    変形させて該移送台5,6を移動せしめて、前記
    処理あご部3を互いに接近させ、その作用面同志
    で前記フインを両側から圧するようにする動作位
    置に至らしめるとともに、該処理あご部3を互い
    に遠ざけて前記作用面同志が隔置した非動作位置
    に至らしめる駆動手段10,11,12とを有す
    ることを特徴とするコンテナ処理装置。 2 特許請求の範囲の第1項に記載の装置におい
    て、前記弾性支柱は、板ばね8,9であることを
    特徴とする装置。 3 特許請求の範囲の第2項に記載の装置におい
    て、前記移送台5,6の各々を支持する前記板ば
    ね8,9は4本であり、これら板ばね8,9は前
    記移送台5,6ならびに前記機械フレーム7とで
    協働して平行四辺形型懸架機構を構成するように
    なつていることを特徴とする装置。 4 特許請求の範囲の第1項に記載の装置におい
    て、前記駆動手段は、一端を互いに枢動結合した
    複数のリンクを有し、該リンクの一つは、前記駆
    動手段の駆動源により往復運動する駆動源であ
    り、残りのリンクは、他端をそれぞれ前記移送台
    5,6に結合されていることを特徴とする装置。 5 特許請求の範囲の第4項に記載の装置におい
    て、前記残りのリンクは、前記処理あご部3が位
    置する水平面上で、前記移送台5,6に結合され
    ていることを特徴とする装置。
