Therefore, changes in oscillation frequency due to temperature changes are greatly influenced by the temperature characteristics of these capacitors.
In addition, although the coaxial resonator 1 itself exhibits a nearly linear change of approximately 10 [ppm/℃], the oscillator as a whole including the capacitor exhibits a curve with a width of several hundred KHz, so even if the temperature Even if compensation was performed, there was a problem in that a frequency error corresponding to the width occurred.

ある。 FIG. 2 shows a specific example of the AFC-temperature compensation circuit 16. In FIG. 2, 17 is a transistor, and 18, 19, 20, 21, 24 are resistors such as bias and load for operating the transistor 17. 22 is a stabilized power supply.
The AFC voltage input terminal 1A is applied with an AFC voltage having a potential lower than the reference level if the intermediate frequency signal becomes high by frequency detection of the intermediate frequency signal, and a potential higher than the reference level if the intermediate frequency signal becomes low. 2B is an output terminal of the compensation circuit 16, and is connected to the point A.
A stabilizing reference potential 2 is applied to the base of the transistor 17.
2 divided by resistors 19 and 20 is applied. Resistor 18, transistor 17 and resistor 29
AFC voltage is applied to the series circuit of . The collector current changes depending on the temperature change of the diode between the base and emitter of the transistor 17.
The current is voltage amplified by the ratio of resistors 18 and 21 and appears at the collector of transistor 17. That is, as the temperature rises, the collector potential falls.
On the other hand, the collector potential of the transistor 17 for the AFC potential is a potential obtained by superimposing a potential due to temperature change on the AFC potential. This is applied from the terminal 2B via the resistor 24 to the cathode of the variable capacitance diode 4 for frequency correction via the resistor 15 in FIG. In the oscillation circuit, the coaxial resonator 1 itself undergoes a linear change of about 10 to 20 [ppm/°C] as described above. In order to compensate for this, the reverse bias capacitance of the variable capacitance diode 4 for frequency correction should be reduced in accordance with the temperature rise.
Temperature compensation can be performed using the output potential of the AFC-temperature compensation circuit 16. On the other hand, regarding AFC compensation, when the oscillation circuit shown in Figure 1 is used as a fixed oscillator for a town converter in an up-down tuner, the direction of frequency movement of the fixed oscillator for down-conversion and the direction of movement of the second intermediate frequency signal are the same. Since the voltage is set in the direction, as mentioned above, when the frequency shifts to the higher side, it becomes lower than the reference potential,
If the voltage is set to be higher than the reference potential when the voltage shifts to the lower side, the AFC loop will also be closed.

Actively utilizes temperature changes in characteristics
Since a potential obtained by superimposing a temperature compensation potential on the AFC detection potential is applied, it is possible to simplify the configuration and ensure an oscillation output signal whose frequency is stable in terms of temperature.
