In order to perform the above functions, a roll towel cabinet generally includes a driven roller that is brought into sliding contact with an unused rolled towel and rotated by pulling out the unused towel, and a drive that is directly connected to the driven roller. A gear, a driven gear rotated by the above drive gear, and a drive roller driven by the above driven gear to rotate and wind up the used roll towel while slidingly touching the used roll towel. .

When the unused roll towel 3 is pulled out as shown by arrow A, the driven roller 4 around which it is wrapped and in sliding contact rotates clockwise in the figure. A sprocket 8 as a drive gear is fixed concentrically to the driven roller 4, and this drive gear 8 also rotates clockwise.

FIG. 3 shows a conventional example different from the above-mentioned one, and the same drawing reference numbers as in FIG. 2 are given to the same or similar structural members as in the above-mentioned conventional example. Further, the reference numbers in FIG. 2 with dashes attached are members corresponding to the constituent members of the conventional example. This conventional example (Fig. 3) is different from the conventional example (Fig. 2).
The main difference from the one shown in FIG. 1 is that the used roll towel 7 is disposed diagonally below the drive roller 11, and that the chain 9' is accordingly longer. In this example (Fig. 3), the used roll towel 7 is transferred to the drive roller 1.
1 is provided with spring means (not shown) that biases it in the direction of sliding contact.

In both of the above two conventional examples (FIGS. 2 and 3), the axial center position of the drive roller 11 is immovable with respect to the main body portions 1 and 1'. However, the diameter of the used roll towel 7 increases as it is used. Therefore, the axial center position of the used roll towel 7 cannot be fixed. For this reason, a bearing (not shown) for the used roll towel 7 must be movably supported, and the axial center position must be configured to move as indicated by arrow D as the diameter of the roll towel 7 increases. It won't happen. 7′ shown by the chain line is
It shows the size and position when its diameter is at its maximum.

As mentioned above, in the conventional technology, it is necessary to provide a means for guiding the used roll towel, its winding shaft, and winding bearing so that they can move in the direction of arrow D, which requires a large number of component parts and is difficult to follow. This makes the entire roll towel cabinet large and heavy, resulting in high costs. In addition, if a used roll towel is removed and an unused roll towel is supplied, 1 of the unused roll towel is supplied.
The operation of attaching the end to the used roll towel winding shaft is difficult.

By solving the above problems and eliminating the need to move the axis of the used roll towel shaft relative to the main body, the roll towel cabinet can be made smaller and lighter.
In addition, in order to reduce costs, a tilting arm member rotatably supports the driven roller shaft, the drive gear shaft, the driven gear shaft, and the drive roller shaft. A conceivable configuration (hereinafter referred to as a draft plan) is that the driven roller is tiltably supported by a support shaft and is pressed against the used roll towel by the weight of the tilting arm and the member attached thereto.

With the above improvement, the drive roller moves as the tilting arm tilts, but the driven roller does not move, so the used roll towel can be removed without affecting the rotational action of the driven roller when the unused roll towel is pulled out. The drive roller moves according to the increase in the diameter of the towel, and the winding action can be performed without changing the axial center position of the used roll towel.

A movable arm 12 is configured to be tiltably supported by the central axis of the driven roller 4, a driven gear 10 is mounted on the movable arm 12, and a chain 9'' is wound between the movable arm 12 and the drive gear 8 for transmission.
A first stage drive roller 11'' is fixed concentrically with the drive gear 8, and a final stage drive roller 14 is driven via an intermediate roller 13.

Since the movable arm 12 is tiltably supported, it tends to rotate clockwise in the figure due to gravity. Therefore, when the used roll towel has a small diameter as shown by the solid line 7, the movable arm 12 assumes the posture shown by the solid line and presses the final stage drive roller 14 against the used roll towel 7.

When the unused roll towel 3 is pulled out as shown by arrow A, the driven roller 4 is rotated counterclockwise in the figure, and the drive gear 8, chain 9'', driven gear 10, first stage drive roller 11', and final stage drive are rotated. The rollers 14 are each rotated counterclockwise. As a result, the final stage drive roller 14 rotates the used roll towel 7 clockwise to perform a winding action in the direction of arrow B.

As the diameter of the used roll towel 7 gradually increases, the final stage drive roller 14 is pushed up in the direction of the arcuate arrow E. When the diameter of the used roll towel is increased as indicated by the chain line 7', the movable arm is at the position of the imaginary line 12', and the final stage drive roller is at the position of the imaginary line 14'.

As described above, the device of this prototype (FIG. 4) functions to wind up a used roll towel in response to the withdrawal of an unused roll towel, without moving the winding shaft 7a of the used roll towel. Therefore, it is sufficient that the bearing supporting the winding shaft 7a is fixed to the main body 1'', and there is no need to guide it in a movable manner.

As a result of repeated practical tests on the proposed device (Fig. 4), the present inventor found that there is no need to move the axis of the used roll towel shaft relative to the main body, and the roll towel cabinet can be made smaller. Although it was confirmed that it was effective in reducing weight, the way the used roll towels (7' and 7) were wound was loose.
We encountered the problem that the towel could not be rolled up tightly (the used roll towel 7' in the final rolled-up state became limp).

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and the used roll towel can be wound to an appropriate firmness without sacrificing the advantage of the proposed idea that there is no need to move the used roll towel shaft relative to the main body. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a roll towel cabinet that can be used easily.

In order to achieve the above object, the roll towel cabinet of the present invention includes a driven roller around which an unused rolled towel is wound and rotated by pulling out the unused towel, and a driven roller that is directly connected to the driven roller. a driven gear rotated by the drive gear, and a drive roller driven by the driven gear to rotate and wind up the used roll towel while slidingly touching the used roll towel. In the roll towel cabinet, a tilting arm member rotatably supports the driven roller shaft, the drive gear shaft, the driven gear shaft, and the drive roller shaft, and the tilting arm is connected to the driven roller shaft. The drive roller is tiltably supported by a concentric support shaft, and the drive roller is pressed against the used roll towel by the weight of the tilting arm and the member attached thereto. The invention is characterized in that a brake means is provided in the middle of the path of winding.

According to the above configuration, the used roll towel to be wound up is subjected to sliding resistance by the brake means, so that tension is applied to the used roll towel (the part immediately before being wound up) by the winding operation by the drive roller. It hangs and is tightly wound up.
