Today, the living environment is becoming increasingly worse due to the diversification of noise sources, energy issues, and housing shortages. Therefore, in order to make living spaces more comfortable, double-glazed shoji screens are increasingly being used, and there are also increasing requests to use existing fittings to create double-glazed shoji screens. A double glass shoji that met these demands was developed in 1972.
This is proposed in Publication No. 154943. This shoji is made by placing a groove-shaped material along a frame frame, fitting another window glass into it, and fixing the plate-shaped body connected to the groove-shaped material to the window glass.

In order to effectively obtain the specified soundproofing and thermal insulation properties with double-glazed shoji, it is necessary to space the window glass at least 50mm apart. However, because conventional shoji screens have groove-shaped members arranged along the frame, the distance between the window panes is short, and the soundproofing and heat insulation effects are not sufficient.
In order to obtain a sufficient effect, it is conceivable to widen the interval, but if this is done, the support of the groove-shaped member will be insufficient, and the plate-shaped member alone will not be able to support the weight of the window glass.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a double-pane shoji screen in which an auxiliary frame that holds a second glass is attached to one side of a frame that holds a first glass, the double-pane shoji screen is arranged vertically, the upper and lower members that make up the auxiliary frame have a hollow reinforced structure, and the second glass is fitted into the upper and lower members at a position offset from the first glass in the indoor/outdoor direction, the upper member is suspended from the frame with its inner side portion engaged with the engagement receiving portion on the outdoor side of the upper frame, the indoor side end face of the inner side portion of the lower member is abutted against the outer surface of the lower frame, and the inner side portion of the lower member is fixed to the outer surface of the lower frame by a fixing device, and the frame frame that holds the first glass and the auxiliary frame that holds the second glass are formed as a single shoji screen without any opening frame in between.

Since the auxiliary frame for holding the second glass is attached to the outdoor side of the shoji, a double glass shoji can be easily constructed as a retrofit when soundproofing and heat insulation are required.

The upper member is suspended from the upper stile constituting the stile frame, and the lower member is attached to the lower stile, making installation easy.

Moreover, the upper member is suspended with its inner side part engaged with the engagement receiving part of the upper stile of the stile frame, and the end surface of the inner side part of the lower member is attached to the inner wall surface of the lower stile. Since the structure is such that they are brought into contact and fixed by a fixture, the rotational moment can be supported by the engaging portion and the abutting portion. In particular, since the inner side portion of the lower member is brought into contact with the inner wall surface of the lower stile, which is strong in strength, deformation is also prevented on this surface.

It is roughly composed of a frame A and an auxiliary frame B. The frame frame A is formed into a square shape by upper and lower frames 2 and 3 and left and right vertical frames (not shown), and glass fitting grooves 2a and 3a are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the four peripheries. The first glass 4 is fitted through the packing 5 into the glass fitting grooves 2a and 3a.

The lower members 6, 7 and left and right vertical members (not shown) form a square shape, and have a glass attachment portion 8 at the tip. As can be seen in the figure, the upper and lower members 6 and 7 have a hollow reinforced structure. and the second
The glass 9 is fitted into the above-mentioned glass mounting portion 8 via a packing 10. The auxiliary frame B configured in this manner is attached to one side of the frame frame A by attachment means described later, thereby forming a sealed space. This sealed space provides a soundproofing and heat insulating effect, but in order to fully obtain these effects, it is desirable that the distance between the glasses 4 and 9 be approximately 50 mm or more. In the past, the plate-shaped bodies and supporting structure lacked rigidity, and if the gap was widened, the grooved material would sag due to its own weight, so the gap could not be widened and sufficient soundproofing and heat insulation effects could not be obtained. In the present invention, since the upper and lower members 6 and 7 have a hollow reinforced structure, the rigidity of the auxiliary frame B is increased, and the glass 4 and
It becomes easy to maintain a distance of 50 mm or more.

In the present invention, in order to simplify the attachment of the auxiliary frame B, the upper member 6 is suspended from the upper stile 2, and the lower member 7 is attached to the lower stile 2. That is, on one side of the upper stile 2 to which the auxiliary frame B is attached, an L-shaped receiver 11 that constitutes the engagement receiving part of the upper stile according to the present invention is fixed with screws 12.
The upper member 6, which is suspended, has a hollow reinforcing structure whose upper end is bent into an inverted L shape to form an engagement portion 6a with the receiving metal 11. Furthermore, in order to attach the lower member 7 to the lower stile 3, a downward hook-shaped lug member 13, each constituting a fixing device according to the present invention, is fixed with a screw 14 to one side of the lower stile 3. On the other hand, the lower end of the hollow reinforcing structure is curved upward so as to elastically engage with the latch member 13, and a claw portion 7a is formed.

Then, the engaging portion 6a engages with the L-shaped receiving plate 11, and the auxiliary frame B is suspended from the frame frame A using the receiving plate 11 as a support point. Next, when the lower member 7 is pressed in the direction of the frame A, the curved claw portion 7a comes into contact with the head of the hook-shaped latch member 13 and engages with the hook portion while being elastically deformed. Therefore, the attachment can be carried out with approximately one touch, and since the auxiliary frame B is not supported by the glass fitting grooves 2a and 3a, the supporting structure is extremely stable compared to the conventional one.

Therefore, redundant explanation will be omitted, and only the attachment means will be explained here. In the suspension means adopted here, the engaging portion 6a on the upper member 6 side is formed in the same manner as in the above-mentioned embodiment, and the upper edge of the upper stile 2 constitutes the engaging receiving portion of the upper stile according to the present invention. It is designed so that it can be hung directly on the screen. Therefore, no deposit is required in this embodiment.

is used. Although this suction cup 15 is fixed to the lower member 7 side in the figure, it is not necessarily necessary to do so, and it is also possible to provide it on the lower stile 3 side. Moreover, instead of the suction cup 15, a permanent magnet 16 can be used as the fixture of the present invention, as shown in FIG. In the figure, a permanent magnet 16 is fixed to the lower member 7,
