This parking brake device has a structure in which a parking brake lever and a wheel-side brake device are connected by a parking brake cable. It is known that this parking cable vibrates in three dimensions while the car is running, and therefore it is supported with a structure that can withstand this vibration. Fourth
This will be explained with reference to the diagram. In this figure, 1 is a parking cable (hereinafter referred to as a cable), and 2 is a portion of the vehicle body that supports this cable 1. One end (not shown) of the cable 1 is connected to a parking brake lever in the vehicle interior, and the other end is connected to a brake device on the wheel side. A spring 3 is disposed on the outer periphery of the cable 1. The spring 3 has a portion 3a that supports the cable 1 with ease, and a portion 3b that extends from this portion 3a to the vehicle body 2. The tip of a portion of the spring 3 indicated by reference numeral 3b is fixed to the vehicle body 2 with a bolt 4.

The three-dimensional vibrations applied to the cable while the vehicle is running are absorbed and supported by the spring 3, but since the cable 1 is simply supported by the spring 3, the degree of vibration absorption and cable protection are limited. In this respect, it was still far from perfect, and there was still room for further improvement. The present invention was made with the aim of solving this problem.

At the same time, a resin pulley with a groove formed on the outer periphery of a circular shape is provided, a cable is inserted into the hole of the pulley, and one end of a coil spring having a diameter smaller than the width of the groove is inserted into the groove. The pulley is wound so as to be relatively movable in the groove width direction, and the pulley is connected to a part of the vehicle body by the coil spring.

自動車走行に伴う振動を吸収することができる。(Function) With this configuration, the pulley, which has a slightly larger inner diameter than the cable and has a hole with a gap for the cable to slide, allows the cable to move in the axial direction while restricting movement beyond the limit. In addition, one end of the coil spring, which has a diameter smaller than the groove width, is wound around the groove so that it can move in the groove width direction, and the pulley is connected to a part of the car body, so that the spring can be used as a cable. This allows the pulley to move vertically and horizontally within a predetermined range. Therefore, without causing any damage to the cable,
It can absorb vibrations caused by driving a car.

It is designed to be supported via a pulley 5. The pulley 5 is made of resin and has a circular shape as a whole as shown in FIG. 3, and has a hole 6 in the center thereof through which the cable 1 is inserted, and a groove 7 in the outer periphery. The inner diameter of the pulley 5, that is, the diameter of the hole 6, is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the cable 1 to form a gap in which the cable 1 can slide. The cable 1 is inserted through a hole 6 of a pulley 5, and the pulley 5 is supported by winding one end of a coil spring (hereinafter referred to as a spring) 8 around a groove 7. In this case, as shown in FIG. 1, the width of the groove 7 of the pulley 5 is sufficiently wider than the diameter of the spring 8. It is designed to be able to move relatively in the groove width direction. The other end of the spring 8 is secured to the vehicle body 2 by a bolt 4. The spring 8 used in this case differs from the conventional spring 3 shown in FIG. 4 in that it is a conventional spring wound in a fixed direction with one end portion extended.

When vibration is applied in the three-dimensional directions (B direction), vertical direction (C and D in the same figure), and left and right direction (E and F directions in Figure 2), out of this vibration, the A and B directions and the cable 1 Vibration in the torsional direction is allowed by the pulley 5 sliding on the cable 1 and is damped without being restrained. In addition, the vertical and horizontal directions (C, D
Vibrations in the E and F directions are absorbed and attenuated by the expansion and contraction of the spring 8 that supports the pulley 5, and by the swinging in the E and F directions centered around the bolt 4 in Fig. 2. .
