Abstract

The present invention relates to an exhaust port or connecting part for a hood connected to an exhaust suction duct, and a hood for ventilation with an inserted filter.

[0002] Conventionally, an exhaust port or a connecting part for mounting a hood in a space and for arranging an exhaust air intake duct opening is required to meet various space conditions and connection conditions of a mounting place, respectively. A variety of different shapes are required, and this difference makes it difficult to manufacture and store these vents or connecting parts.

The invention is based on the task of significantly reducing the effort and the number of exhaust ports or connecting parts required.

This problem is solved by an outlet or connecting piece for a hood having the features of claim 1. The preferred structure is indicated in the subclaims.

What is important for the exhaust outlet or the connecting piece according to the invention is that it can rotate about a center axis perpendicular to the plane of the exhaust inlet. This allows the exhaust intake duct to be connected with the same connecting piece, whether it is separate from the right side, the left side or the back side of the hood.

The advantage that the direction of ventilation air flow can be forward, right, left or rear depending on the hood is that only one exhaust outlet with slits is provided. Then, the same applies to ventilation operation.

The hood 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 includes an inverted funnel-shaped suction port 11, a glass shade 12, a suction pipe 13, and a fan case 14 connected to the suction pipe 13.

Although not visible in this figure, the exhaust outlet of the exhaust duct that opens upward is open above the fan case 14. FIG. 5 shows an exhaust outlet with a cylindrical connecting piece 2 having an exhaust outlet 3 with a slit 4. This slit 4 can be oriented in various directions by rotating the connecting component 2 about its central axis.

The exhaust port or the connecting part can be easily and cleanly manufactured from either metal or resin. Exhaust vents or connecting components make it possible to adapt to the various space and connection conditions of the hood installation.
