The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and it is possible to improve the versatility of a mold device for molding a hollow body having a rectangular parallelepiped shape with different sizes in the mold clamping direction, and to reduce the cost thereof. In addition, the present invention aims to provide a blow molding mold device that can shorten the setup time when molding different products and improve productivity. In a blow molding mold device in which left and right molds each having a cavity formed by a member having a U-shaped cross section are opposed in the mold clamping direction, the above-mentioned member is connected to the cavity member on the mating surface side of the mold device and the intermediate cavity. The intermediate cavity member is removable and replaceable with one having a different width in the depth direction, and each cavity member is compressed in the mold clamping direction to close the cavity. By removing and replacing the intermediate cavity member, the depth of the cavity in the mold clamping direction can be changed.

According to the present invention, a hollow body 5 such as a battery tank having a rectangular parallelepiped shape with different sizes in the mold clamping direction is removed by removing an intermediate cavity member constituting a part of the cavity in the depth direction. By replacing the mold with one with a different width, the same mold device can be used to form the mold, greatly improving the versatility of the mold device. The mold cost for forming the body 5 can be significantly reduced. Moreover, the setup time for changing the size of the molded body is significantly shortened compared to the case where the entire mold device is replaced, and productivity can be improved. Further, the cavity is constituted by a plurality of cavity members, and the space between the cavity members facilitates air release during blow molding.
