Then, it takes a lot of effort to peel off this foaming agent from this outer surface, and when it is removed, it damages the coating film and causes rusting. In addition, since the foaming agent is filled to the fullest in these holes, it is not possible to attach watertight grommets to these holes.
A problem arises.

A grommet for treating a foaming agent used in a vehicle, wherein the grommet body is formed of synthetic resin into a roughly funnel shape, and a small diameter portion of the grommet body is fitted with a hole formed in the closed section of the vehicle body. The grommet is characterized by a foaming agent treatment grommet with a joint formed therein.

Then, the urethane stock solution is injected from an injection port (not shown). Then, after a certain period of time has elapsed, this stock solution begins to foam, and the closed section 14 is filled with the urethane 15. This filling improves strength while minimizing weight increase.

The filling positions are range a (front end 17a of the hood) and range b (from near the center 17b to the rear end 17c) in FIG.
The filling of the urethane 15 into this area b is carried out by arranging a partition wall 21 near the central portion 17b as shown in FIG. 8 to prevent the urethane 15 from flowing forward.

Since the entire closed cross-section portion 20 of a is filled with urethane 15, the striker 22 is released when the hood 17 is closed.
It is possible to ensure the strength against the impact load input from the front end portion 17a, and also to prevent the hood outer 18 and the like from being dented uniformly over the entire length of the front end portion 17a.
