Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 1.物体に機械的接続を形成する方法であって、(a)2つの半径方向に延在す る周囲の形成物によって長手方向に規定された溝をその内表面に有する、形状記 憶合金から形成されたカラーを物体の周囲に配置し; (b)合金のAs温度以上の温度にカラーの温度を上昇し、カラーの少なくとも 一部分を半径方向に収縮させ、第1形成物を物体の表面に食い込ませ;および (c)カラーの少なくとも一部分を半径方向に内側に機械的に変形し、第2形成 物を物体の表面に食い込ませることを特徴とする方法。
- 2.第2形成物がカラーの末端の付近に位置している請求項1記載の方法。
- 3.形成物の少なくとも1つが歯の形態である請求項1記載の方法。
- 4.カラーの上で軸方向にチューブ状スリーブを引き寄せることによってカラー を内側に変形する請求項1記載の方法。
- 5.少なくともカラーとスリーブの接触領域において、スリーブが内側にテーパ ーしているか、またはカラーが外側にテーパーしているか、またはこれら両方で ある請求項4記載の方法。
- 6.カラーとスリーブの接触表面が、封止がそれらの間に形成されるような形状 を有する請求項5記載の方法。
- 7.スリーブにはねじ山が設けられており、該ねじ山を、他の要素の共働するね じと係合させ、該要素をスリーブに対して回転させることによってカラーの上で 軸方向にスリーブを引き寄せる請求項4記載の方法。
- 8.該他の要素が、カラーの軸方向に面する表面と共働するために軸方向に面す る表面を有するリングであり、カラーが物体を把持する場合に軸方向力がリング によってカラーを介して物体に適用される請求項7記載の方法。
- 9.第2形成物の付近にあるカラーの肉厚が、第1形成物の付近にある肉厚より も薄い請求項1記載の方法。
- 10.第2形成物の付近にあるカラーの肉厚が、第1形成物の付近にある肉厚の 約40%よりも薄い請求項9記載の方法。
- 11.請求項1記載の方法によって物体に機械的接続を形成するためのアッセン ブリであって、 (a)形状記憶合金から形成されており、内表面に形成された溝を有するカラー であり、溝が、2つの半径方向に延在する周囲の形成物によって長手方向に規定 されるカラー;(b)カラーの少なくとも一部分を半径方向に内側に機械的に変 形する手段 を有してなるアッセンブリ。
- 12.変形手段が、カラーを変形するためにカラーの上で軸方向に引き寄せられ るチューブ状スリーブを有してなる請求項11記載のアッセンブリ。
- 13.スリーブにはねじ山が設けられており、変形手段が、共働ねじ山を有する 要素を有し、共働ねじ山を相互に係合し、要素をスリーブに対して回転させるこ とによってカラーの上でスリーブが引き寄せられる請求項12記載のアッセンブ リ。
- 14.カラーが、軸方向に面する表面を有し、該要素が、カラーの軸方向に面す る表面と共働するために軸方向に面する表面を有するリングであり、カラーが物 体を把持する場合に、リングによってカラーを介して物体に軸方向力が適用され る請求項13記載のアッセンブリ。
- 15.第1形成物の付近にあるカラーの肉厚が、第2形成物の付近にある肉厚よ りも厚い請求項11記載のアッセンブリ。
- 16.第2形成物の付近にあるカラーの肉厚が第1形成物の付近にある肉厚の約 40%よりも薄い請求項15記載のアッセンブリ。
- 17.機械的接続が請求項1記載の方法によって形成されている物体。
