Abstract
Description
Claims (27)
- 1.骨外部分と、 それに装着された第1骨内部分と、 該第1骨内部分に装着された第2骨内部分とを具備する人の体内移植のための整 形外科装置であり、 整形外科装置は、複合材料から作製され、骨外部分は第2骨内部分の弾性率より も大きな弾性率を有する整形外科装置。
- 2.第1骨内部分の弾性率が、第2骨内部分の弾性率よりも大きく、骨外部分の 弾性率よりも小さい請求の範囲1に記載の整形外科装置。
- 3.弾性率が、長さに沿って変化する請求の範囲2に記載の整形外科装置。
- 4.骨外部分の等価曲げ弾性率が、8×106psiよりも大きい請求の範囲1 に記載の整形外科装置。
- 5.骨外部分の等価曲げ弾性率が、16×106psiよりも大きい請求の範囲 1に記載の整形外科装置。
- 6.第2骨内部分の等価曲げ弾性率が、最大16×106psiである請求の範 囲1に記載の整形外科装置。
- 7.第2骨内部分の等価曲げ弾性率が、1×106〜8×106psiである請 求の範囲1に記載の整形外科装置。
- 8.骨外部分と、 それに装着された第1骨内部分と、 該第1骨内部分に装着された第2骨内部分とを具備する人の体内移植のための負 荷保持整形外科装置であり、 整形外科装置は、ポリマー基質内に配された複数のフィラメントを含む複合材料 から作製され、骨外部分は第2骨内部分の弾性率よりも大きな弾性率を有する負 荷保持整形外科装置。
- 9.フィラメントが、木質的に炭素、黒鉛、ガラスとアラミド繊維から成るグル ープから選択される請求の範囲8に記載の整形外科装置。
- 10.ポリマー基質が、本質的にポリスルホン、ポリエーテル−エーテル−ケト ン、ポリエーテル−ケトン−ケトン、ポリイミド、エポキシとポリシアナートか ら成るグループから選択される請求の範囲8に記載の整形外科装置。
- 11.該フィラメントが、骨外部分と第1及び第2骨内部分の縦軸の回りに非直 線に配される請求の範囲8に記載の整形外科装置。
- 12.該フィラメントが、螺旋パターンにおいて配される請求の範囲11に記載 の整形外科装置。
- 13.該フィラメントが、編組パターンにおいて配される請求の範囲11に記載 の整形外科装置。
- 14.フィラメントが、さらに、骨外部分と第1骨内部分の縦軸に沿って軸方向 に配向される請求の範囲12又は13に記載の整形外科装置。
- 15.骨外部分と、 それに装着された第1骨内部分と、 該第1骨内部分に装着された第2骨内部分とを具備する人の体内移植のための整 形外科装置であり、 整形外科装置は、複合材料の複数の層から作製され、該複合材料は、ポリマー基 質を記された複数のフィラメントを具備し、該層は、骨外部分と第1及び第2骨 内部分の回りに独立に配置される整形外科装置。
- 16.各層の該フィラメントが、骨外部分と第1及び第2骨内部分の縦軸の回り に独立に非直線に配される請求の範囲15に記載の整形外科装置。
- 17.該フィラメントが、螺旋パターン又は編組パターンにおいてポリマー基質 内に配される請求の範囲16に記載の整形外科装置。
- 18.該フィラメントが、さらに、骨外部分と第1骨内部分の縦軸の回りに軸方 向に配向されたトウを含む請求の範囲16に記載の整形外科装置。
- 19.該骨外部分が、骨盤に装着したカップに回転可能に係合するボールに係合 するように適合された剄部であり、該第1骨内部分が、近位本体であり、そして 該第2骨内部分が遠位ステムであり、近位本体と遠位ステムが、大腿骨管内に収 容される人の股インプラントとして使用される請求の範囲15に記載の整形外科 装置。
- 20.剄部と近位本体が、該複合材料の複数の層から成り、この場合各層の該フ ィラメントが、縦軸から5〜45°の角度において独立に配され、そして遠位ス テムが、該複合材料の複数の層から成り、この場合各層の該フィラメントが、縦 軸から30〜90°の角度において独立に配される請求の範囲19に記載の整形 外科装置。
- 21.剄部と近位本体が、さらに、該複合材料の複数の層を具備し、この場合各 層の該フィラメントが、縦軸から0〜5°の角度において独立に配される請求の 範囲20に記載の整形外科装置。
- 22.遠位ステム、近位本体又は両方が、コアとさやを具備し、該コアが、請求 の範囲20に記載の装置を具備し、該さやが、コアの外面として実質的に成形さ れた内側部分と、装置を収容するように形成された大腿骨管内の穴の内面として 実質的に成形された外側部分とを形成するように配した複数のフィラメントを具 備する請求の範囲20に記載の整形外科装置。
- 23.骨外部分と、 それに装着された第1骨内部分と、 該第1骨内部分に装着された第2骨内部分とを具備する人の体内移植のための整 形外科装置であり、 整形外科装置は、ポリマー基質内に配された複数のフィラメントを含む複合材料 から作製され、骨外部分は第2骨内部分の弾性率よりも大きな弾性率を有し、該 第2骨内部分は、基準Ec≦E1、ここでEc=Elの時σb/σb′′=1か つEc≧E2、ここでEc=E2の時S/S′′=1により選択された、等価曲 げ弾性率Eを有し、この場合Ecは、第2骨内部分の弾性率であり、σbは、第 2骨内部分において移植装置に隣接した骨における最大曲げ応力であり、σb′ ′は、完全に金属から製作され、ポリメチルメタクリレート骨セメントにより部 位に添付された移植整形外科装置に隣接する骨における最大曲げ応力であり、S が、該複合材料製の移植装置の回転剛性であり、そしてS′′が、骨セメントに より添付した移植金属装置の回転剛性である整形外科装置。
- 24.骨外部分と、それに装着された第1骨内部分と、該第1骨内部分に装着さ れた第2骨内部分とを具備する装置の構成において心棒を成形することと、心棒 の回りにフィラメントを回旋又は編組し、かつ層を形成するためにポリマー基質 を塗布することと、骨外部分と第1及び第2骨内部分の回りに独立に付加層を随 意的に配設し、かつ該心棒を随意的に除去することと含む人の体内移植のための 整形外科装置の準備のためのプロセス。
- 25.心棒が、心棒又はその部分が除去される如く、複数の部品を連結してなる 請求の範囲24に記載のプロセス。
- 26.ポリマー基質が、心棒の回りに該フィラメントを回旋する又は編組する前 に、予備被覆としてフィラメントに塗布される請求の範囲24に記載のプロセス 。
- 27.ポリマー基質が、心棒の回りに該フィラメントを回旋する又は編組した後 に、フィラメントに塗布される請求の範囲24に記載のプロセス。
