Description of the Related Art In running processing of a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material (hereinafter simply referred to as a light-sensitive material), there is an urgent need to develop a processing method for reducing processing waste liquid in view of environmental protection. However, in order to reduce the processing waste liquid, especially the processing waste liquid of the color developing solution, even if the current photosensitive material is subjected to the color developing processing with a low replenishing amount, the sensitivity and the color density are lowered in the photographic property and the satisfactory performance is obtained. Can't get As one method for solving this problem, it has been conventionally proposed to increase the pH of the color developing solution, increase the color developing processing temperature, increase the concentration of the color developing agent, and the like. However, even if these measures are taken, the yellow, magenta, and cyan dye images are colored due to changes in the concentration of halogens and developing agents in the color developer due to fluctuations in throughput and fluctuations in evaporation due to seasons and differences in installation location. Since the densities are not balanced, there is a problem that gradations are not adjusted. In particular, this problem is large in a high-sensitivity photosensitive material for photographing.

It is considered to be determined by the activity of the color developing solution, the diffusion speed of the color developing agent components such as the color developing agent into the light-sensitive material, and the silver halide composition of the light-sensitive material. The compounds represented by the general formula (1) among the constitutional requirements of the present invention are, for example, JP-B-37-16088, JP-B-37-5987,
38-7826, 44-12380, 45-
It is a compound known as a development accelerator or a fixing agent in 9019, US3813247 and the like. Further, the bromine ion in the color developing solution is generally about 1.6 × 10 -2 mol / liter, and it is known that sulfite acts as a competitive compound. On the other hand, in the present invention, when the compound represented by the general formula (1) is used when the bromine ion concentration is increased without substantially containing a sulfite or a bisulfite as a competing compound, color development is performed. It was discovered that sensitivity and gradation balance are less likely to be impaired due to changes in the concentration of the color developing agent and the bromine ion concentration, which act on the activity of the solution, and shortening of the processing time. Therefore, the above-mentioned problem is to provide a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material with at least one compound represented by the following general formula (1):
Silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material characterized by being processed with a color developer containing bromine ions in an amount of 3.8 × 10 -2 mol / liter or more and containing substantially no sulfite and / or bisulfite. It could be achieved by the processing method of the material. General formula (1) L 1- (A 1 -L 2 ) r -A 2 -L 3 In the formula, L 1 and L 3 may be the same or different and each is an alkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group or an alkenyl group. Represents respectively a hydrogen atom may be the same or different, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group or an alkenyl group, X 1 - represents a counter anion. In the present invention, it is preferable to define the halogen composition of the silver halide emulsion. Specifically, in the processing method of the light-sensitive material of the present invention, at least one emulsion of the color-sensitive layer of the light-sensitive material is silver iodide. Is preferably 2 mol% or more and silver chloride is 10 mol% or less, and the above-mentioned silver chloroiodobromide contains substantially no silver chloride. It is more preferably silver halide.

It does not contain potassium sulfite, ammonium sulfite) or bisulfite (eg sodium bisulfite, potassium bisulfite, ammonium bisulfite). It is known that sulfite generally acts as a competitive compound, but it is preferable not to contain sulfite in view of the effect of the present invention, that is, stabilizing the balance of each color forming layer and shortening the color development time. In the present invention, "not substantially containing" means 1.0 g or less per liter of the color developing solution, and it is particularly preferable not to contain it at all. The color developer generally has a pH of 9 to 12. Further, the replenishment amount of the color developing solution is preferably small from the viewpoint of reducing processing waste liquid. Therefore, 600 per square meter of photosensitive material
It is preferably not more than milliliter, more preferably not more than 450 milliliter, and more preferably not more than 200 milliliter. The lower limit is preferably not less than the amount of the light-sensitive material brought into the next bath, and is about 50 to 100 ml. The contact area between the photographic processing liquid and air in the processing tank can be represented by the aperture ratio defined below. That is, aperture ratio (cm -1 ) = [contact area between processing liquid and air (cm
2)] ÷ [processing solution volume (cm 3)] The above aperture is preferably 0.1 cm -1 or less, more preferably 0.001~0.05cm -1. As a method of reducing the aperture ratio in this way, in addition to providing a cover such as a floating lid on the photographic processing liquid surface of the processing tank,
The method using a movable lid described in JP-A-1-82033 and the slit development processing method described in JP-A-63-216050 can be mentioned. Reducing the aperture ratio is preferably applied not only to color development but also to the subsequent steps, for example, all steps of bleaching, bleach-fixing, fixing, washing, stabilizing and the like. The color development processing time is usually set to 2 to 5 minutes, but in the present invention, the compound represented by the general formula (1) is used,
The processing time can be further shortened by using a high temperature and high pH and using a color developing agent at a high concentration.

Further, in order to speed up the processing, a processing method of bleach-fixing processing after bleaching processing may be used. Further, treatment with two continuous bleach-fixing baths, fixing treatment before the bleach-fixing treatment, or bleaching treatment after the bleach-fixing treatment can be optionally carried out. As the bleaching agent, compounds of polyvalent metals such as iron (III), peracids, quinones, nitro compounds and the like are used. Typical bleaching agents are organic complex salts of iron (III), such as aminoamines such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid, cyclohexanediaminetetraacetic acid, methyliminodiacetic acid, 1,3-diaminopropanetetraacetic acid and glycol etherdiaminetetraacetic acid. Polycarboxylic acids or complex salts of citric acid, tartaric acid, malic acid and the like can be used. Of these, aminopolycarboxylic acid iron (III) complex salts including ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid iron (III) complex salts and 1,3-diaminopropanetetraacetic acid iron (III) complex salts are preferable from the viewpoint of rapid treatment and prevention of environmental pollution. .. Further, the aminopolycarboxylic acid iron (III) complex salt is particularly useful in both the bleaching solution and the bleach-fixing solution. The pH of a bleaching solution or a bleach-fixing solution using these aminopolycarboxylic acid iron (III) complex salts is usually 4.0 to 8, but a lower pH may be used for speeding up the processing.

Minutes, more preferably 1 minute to 2 minutes. The processing temperature is 25 ° C to 50 ° C, preferably 35 ° C to 45 ° C.
In the preferable temperature range, the desilvering rate is improved and the stain generation after the processing is effectively prevented. In the desilvering process, it is preferable that the stirring is strengthened as much as possible. As a concrete method for strengthening stirring, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-
No. 183460, a method of impinging a jet of a processing solution on the emulsion surface of the light-sensitive material, a method of improving the stirring effect by using the rotating means of JP-A No. 62-183461, and a wiper blade provided in the solution. Examples include a method of moving the light-sensitive material while bringing the emulsion surface into contact with the emulsion surface to make the emulsion surface turbulent, thereby further improving the stirring effect, and a method of increasing the circulation flow rate of the entire processing solution. Such a stirring improving means is effective for any of the bleaching solution, the bleach-fixing solution and the fixing solution. The automatic developing machine used for the light-sensitive material of the present invention is disclosed in JP-A-60-191257 and 60-1912.
It is preferable to have the photosensitive material conveying means described in JP-A Nos. 58 and 60-191259. JP-A-60-
As described in Japanese Patent No. 191257, such a conveying means can significantly reduce the carry-in of the treatment liquid from the front bath to the rear bath, and is highly effective in preventing the performance deterioration of the treatment liquid. Such effects are particularly effective in shortening the processing time in each step and reducing the amount of processing liquid replenishment.

The amount of rinsing water in the rinsing process depends on the characteristics of the photosensitive material (for example, depending on the materials used such as couplers), application, and further, the rinsing water temperature, the number of rinsing tanks (number of stages), replenishment system such as countercurrent, forward flow, and other various conditions. It can be set in a wide range. Of these, the relationship between the number of washing tanks and the amount of water in the multi-stage countercurrent method is described in Journal.

According to the multi-stage counter-current method described in the above literature, the amount of washing water can be significantly reduced, but due to the increase in the residence time of water in the tank, bacteria propagate, and the suspended matter produced adheres to the photosensitive material, etc. Problems arise. In the processing of the light-sensitive material of the present invention, as a solution to such a problem, the method of reducing calcium ion and magnesium ion described in JP-A-62-288838 can be used very effectively. Further, isothiazolone compounds and siabendazoles described in JP-A-57-8,542, chlorine-based bactericides such as chlorinated sodium isocyanurate, and benzotriazole are also described by Hiroshi Horiguchi in "Bacterial and Antifungal Agents". "Chemistry" (1986) Sankyo Publishing, edited by Sanitary Technology "Microbial sterilization, sterilization, antifungal technology" (1982) Industrial Technology Association, edited by Japan Society for Antibacterial and Antifungal "Dictionary for Antifungal Agents" (1986) It is also possible to use the bactericide described in (4).

The washing water temperature and washing time can be variously set depending on the characteristics of the light-sensitive material, the use, etc., but generally 15 to 45 ° C. for 20 seconds to 10 minutes,
A range of 30 seconds to 5 minutes at 25 to 40 ° C. is preferably selected. Further, the light-sensitive material of the present invention can be directly processed with a stabilizing solution instead of the above washing with water. In such stabilizing treatment, JP-A-57-8543 and 58-58 are used.
All known methods described in Nos. 14834 and 60-220345 can be used. Further, there is a case where further stabilization treatment is carried out after the water washing treatment, and an example thereof is a stabilizing bath containing a dye stabilizer and a surfactant, which is used as a final bath of a color light-sensitive material for photographing. be able to. Examples of dye stabilizers include aldehydes such as formalin and glutaraldehyde, N-methylol compounds, hexamethylenetetramine, and aldehyde sulfite adducts. Various chelating agents and antifungal agents can also be added to this stabilizing bath.

It suffices that at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers of the green color sensitive layer and the red color sensitive layer is provided, and there is no particular limitation on the number and order of layers of the silver halide emulsion layer and the non-photosensitive layer.
As a typical example, a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having at least one light-sensitive layer composed of a plurality of silver halide emulsion layers having substantially the same color sensitivity but different sensitivities on a support. And the photosensitive layer is a unit photosensitive layer having a color sensitivity to any of blue light, green light, and red light, and in the multilayer silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material,
Generally, the unit photosensitive layers are arranged in order from the support side, that is, a red color-sensitive layer, a green color-sensitive layer and a blue color-sensitive layer. However, the order of installation may be reversed depending on the purpose, or the order of installation may be such that different photosensitive layers are sandwiched between the same color-sensitive layers.

は表Aに示す。The sample 101 was subjected to gradation exposure with a B-G-R3 color separation filter for processing. The sample obtained by the treatment was subjected to measurement of the respective densities of yellow, magenta and cyan, which are the coloring dyes of the B, G and R layers, and the characteristic curves thereof were obtained. From this characteristic curve, the minimum density (Dmin)
The logarithm of the reciprocal of the exposure amount at the point giving a density of +0.2 was taken, and this was taken as the sensitivity (S), and the fluctuation of the sensitivity was examined. On the other hand, on the other hand, a point giving a density of Dmin +0.5 (A
The density value of the point (point B) at the exposure amount of logE = 1.0 is calculated from the exposure amount of point
The gradient of the straight line connecting the points B and B was defined as the gradation (G). These sensitivities and gradations are based on the processing 101 and the processing 107, and each processing No. And the difference ΔS and ΔG were calculated. The smaller the difference between the yellow, magenta, and cyan color images, the better the sensitivity balance due to changes in the bromine ion concentration and the color developing agent concentration in the color developing solution, and the smaller the gradation variation, the better the color balance. The results are shown in Table A.

Processes 101 to 103 may cause the sensitivity and gradation to be out of balance due to different influences depending on the color images of magenta, cyan, and cyan.
And a comparison between 107 and 109. Further, even in a color developing solution containing the compound represented by the general formula (1) of the present invention, if the bromine ion concentration is low, the above-mentioned processing 1
In the case of the processings 104 to 106 from 01 to 103, although a slight improvement is observed, variations in sensitivity and gradation are still observed, and the balance among the three colors of yellow, magenta and cyan is poor. However, in the case of the treatment 110 containing the compound represented by the general formula (1) of the present invention and increasing the bromine ion concentration to the concentration range of the present invention, both sensitivity and gradation are significantly improved, Moreover, the balance among the three colors is good. Further, even if the bromine ion concentration becomes slightly high, or the concentration of the color developing agent is increased, these sensitivity and gradation variations are small, and the balance among the three colors of yellow, magenta, and cyan is good. It is clear from the processing of comparisons between ~ 112 and other comparisons. On the other hand, the compound (1) represented by the general formula (1) of the present invention is replaced with other compounds (5), (13), (19), (6), (18),
It can be seen that even in the treatments 113 to 118 in which the equimolar amount is replaced with (51), the results are as good as those of the treatment 111.

It is clear from comparison with 303 (comparative example). Further, the treatments 307 to 309 in which the compound (8) represented by the general formula (1) of the present invention is changed to other compounds of the present invention (25), (30) and (2) are the same as the above treatment 304. It is also clear that they show almost the same good photographic properties. In addition, in any of the treatments 304 to 309 (invention) treated with a color developer containing the compound represented by the general formula (1) of the present invention, the sensitivity of photographic property is 3 of yellow, magenta and cyan.
Balanced by color and processing for all three colors 301
It can be seen that there is another advantage that the sensitivity is slightly higher than that of.

かる。From Table D, the compound represented by the general formula (1) of the present invention is contained in the color developing solution, and the bromine ion concentration of the color developing solution is as high as 5.04 × 10 -2 mol / liter. In this case, even if the bromine ion concentration fluctuates by 1.0 × 10 -2 mol / liter, the fluctuations in photographic properties (sensitivity and gradation) in the processing in which the color development time is shortened are noticeable. Processes 404 to 406 show that although the image quality is low and the gradation is low, the variation among the three colors of yellow, magenta, and cyan is small and well balanced, and the color development processing time can be shortened sufficiently. ing. Also,
The compound represented by the general formula (1) is converted from (8) to (2
It is clear from the processes 407 to 409 that the same results are obtained in the processes changed to 5), (30) and (2). On the other hand, in the comparison processes 401 to 403, it can be seen that the variation of the photographic property is large and the balance of the three colors is largely lost, and the variation of the gradation balance is particularly large.
