The reasons for this are that the wrapping paper itself is weak and difficult to handle, that the width and diameter of the metal band coil varies, and that the coil itself is heavy. Because you need it.

A folding plate is rotatably attached above the tip of the first folding plate, and an ear tab is rotatably attached to the first folding plate below the first folding plate and adjacent to the second folding plate. a folding plate mechanism that pinches the selvedge of the wrapping paper between the second folding plate and the selvedge tab and bends it toward the end face of the metal band coil; a folding plate operating mechanism mounted on the second truck for operating the folding plate mechanism; and a folding plate operating mechanism mounted on the second truck for operating the folding plate mechanism by a predetermined angle.
A drum rotating mechanism that rotates about the shaft, a second shaft rotatably mounted inside the first shaft, and a horizontal bar movable in the radial direction attached to the end of the second shaft on the metal band coil side. The above-mentioned problem is solved by a means consisting of a droop correction mechanism.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, first, the entire apparatus 10 is guided by the first cart 21 and the lifting platform 22 to the standby position of the metal strip coil 1 around which the wrapping paper 3 is wrapped. The lifting table 22 adjusts the center position of the device 10 according to changes in the coil diameter.

It is preferable that this linked operation is controlled so that the ear tab 55 and the second folding plate 53 draw an arcuate trajectory. Further, the ear knob 55 and the second folding plate 53 sequentially rotate counterclockwise on an arcuate trajectory. This rotational movement is controlled by the actuating member 56 and the folding plate actuating mechanism 60.
