【目的】 乾燥押花の赤色花弁を、原色に戻す表面処理

【産業上の利用分野】本発明は押花などの乾燥押花の表
面処理法に関するものである。

【従来の技術】草花を乾燥すると、赤い花弁の中には、
乾燥中のpH上昇によって暗色または紫に変色するものが
多いが、従来はそれら変色した花弁を復色させるため
に、クエン酸等の有機強酸水溶液が塗布されていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところが、上記の従来
例においては、塗布液の酸性が強いために、原色と異な
った色調が出現し、本来の花弁の色が再現できないもの

【課題を解決するための手段】そこで、本発明では、乾
燥されて、押花状に形成された赤色花弁の表面に、乳酸
等の有機弱酸と、エチルアルコールと水の混合液を塗布
すると共に、次に適宜乾燥を行うことを特徴とする乾燥
押花の表面処理法を提供せんとするものである。

【作用】乾燥押花の花弁に対して、第一段階では、乳酸
等の有機弱酸溶液を塗布し、乾燥処理によってpH上昇を
起した同花弁を、弱酸性状態に置く。次に第２段階とし
て、同花弁を軽い加圧下にて加熱乾燥して、花弁の弱酸
性化にもとづく復色反応を促進すると共に、塗布液のア
ルコールと水の蒸散（乾燥）を促進し、表面処理を完了
する。

【実施例】以下本発明の実施例を具体的に説明すると、
発泡ウレタンマットの上に、乾燥によって暗紫色化した
コスモスの花弁を並べ、表１の組成の乳酸塗布液を筆で
薄く塗布する。次に別の発泡ウレタンマットをかぶせ、
金属性網戸を重しとして載せ、表面から９０℃の熱風を
約５分間吹込んで乾燥し、乾燥押花の表面処理を終了す
る。
発泡ウレタンマットの上に、乾燥によって暗紫色化した
コスモスの花弁を並べ、表１の組成の乳酸塗布液を筆で
薄く塗布する。次に別の発泡ウレタンマットをかぶせ、
金属性網戸を重しとして載せ、表面から９０℃の熱風を
約５分間吹込んで乾燥し、乾燥押花の表面処理を終了す
る。

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、暗色または紫色化した
乾燥押花の赤色花弁に乳酸等有機弱酸のアルコール水溶
液を塗布し、熱乾燥するものであるから、赤色花弁は速
やかに弱酸性化し、原色に戻るものである。そして、そ
の原色は鮮明な状態のままで長期間維持される。

- 【請求項１】 乾燥されて、押花状に形成された赤色花
弁の表面に、乳酸等の有機弱酸と、エチルアルコール
と、水の混合液を塗布すると共に、次に適宜乾燥を行う
ことを特徴とする乾燥押花の表面処理法。 - 【請求項２】 上記有機弱酸混合液の組成は、乳酸５〜
３０重量％，水１０〜３０重量％，残部エチルアルコー
ルと少量の界面活性剤を混合したことを特徴とする乾燥
押花の表面処理液。
