Conventional technology and its problems Conventionally, lumber 1 used for housing construction, etc. has been produced or commercialized as structural material, base material, finishing material, etc. according to the purpose. Therefore, materials with no defects are generally used as finishing materials such as finishing materials and frame materials for fittings, but defect-free coniferous materials are scarce as a resource and are also expensive. . Referring to Fig. 1, the defects in sawn lumber 1 mentioned here include live knots 1A', dead knots 1A'', and missing knots 1A.
etc., Node 1A, Yanitsubo 1B, etc.

Adjust the moisture content to 15% or less. The reason why the moisture content of green wood raw wood 2, which is the base material, is set to 22% or more is that by wetting the green wood raw wood 2, which is the base material,
Reduces cutting resistance in hard joints.

In this case, the diameter 2D' of the hole 2D must be at least 5 mm longer than the long axis of the defect 2B, be approximately perpendicular to the grain of the plate, have a perfect cylindrical shape, and have a smooth cut side surface; The Aoki dried material 3 is used to make a patch material 3B to be embedded in the hole 2D using a patching machine or the like. This patch material 3B has a perfect cylindrical shape, slightly perpendicular to the board grain, and the cut side surface is smooth.

由は下記の通りである。 The materials that have gone through the sixth to fifth steps are piled up and dried by an artificial drying step or the like so that the moisture content is 15% or less to obtain the knotted processed material 4. Note that this processed material is then transferred to known processes such as wood cutting, veneer cutting, veneer bonding, and finishing.
The reason for aligning the grain directions in the fifth step is as follows.

Filling the holes in a criss-cross manner can lead to cracks, cracks, etc. due to changes over time.

Effects of the invention The knotted processed material obtained by the present invention removes defective parts such as knots and potholes that are disliked by customers due to its appearance and causes cracks and misalignment due to changes over time, and can be pasted with veneer, etc. By applying this process, it can be supplied as a defect-free material, and compared to laminated wood, large-scale equipment, processes, and personnel are not required. As the material used for the knotted material, 1st or 2nd grade materials or thinned materials, which are about a quarter of the cost of defect-free materials normally used for interior parts, can be effectively used.
