面の焦げ目が多く、また調理物内部への熱浸透に
長時間を要し、調理物の水分を必要以上に蒸発さ
せ味覚や外観をそこなわせたり、エネルギー費が
高価につくなどの問題があつた。

せて、遠赤外線輻射体の底部から電気ヒーターで
加熱するようになつており、セラミツク粒を封入
した金網を加熱することで、遠赤外線の発生源と
なるセラミツクの有効表面積を、使用するセラミ
ツクの量を同一とした場合、最大限に大きくとつ
て、加熱源である電気ヒーターにより有効に加熱
することができるようにし、小さな熱源で効率よ
く遠赤外線を発生することができるようにすると
共に、調理物の上下からす早く遠赤外線で加熱調
理することが可能となるよう構成したものであ
る。
