The present invention relates to a copy-protected original that can be applied to confidential documents. 2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, various types of copying machines have become widespread, and it is now possible to copy confidential documents and the like with relative ease. For this reason, various techniques have been proposed to prevent copying of confidential documents and the like. The basic idea is to select the color tone of the original in accordance with the spectral characteristics of the copying machine, equalize the reflectance characteristics of the image area and non-image area of the original, and make image reproduction impossible. This idea will be explained in more detail. The spectral characteristics of a copying machine are determined by the spectral energy characteristics of the light source lamp, the spectral transmittance characteristics of the platen glass, the spectral transmittance characteristics of the lens, the spectral reflectance characteristics of the mirror, the spectral sensitivity characteristics of the photoreceptor, and the like. For example, the spectral characteristic curve of one type of electrophotographic copying machine using a Se-based photoreceptor is as shown in FIG. However, when this copying machine copies an original whose image is formed using ink having spectral reflectance characteristics as shown in FIG. It is obtained by mutually multiplying both characteristic values shown in FIG. This is shown in FIG. The area surrounded by the characteristic curve in FIG. 3 (this is referred to as E1 ) represents the energy (exposure amount) that the photoreceptor receives from the image area. On the other hand, the surface potential characteristics of the photoreceptor with respect to the exposure amount are normally as shown in FIG. 4, and the surface potential when the exposure amount in the non-image area is E 1 is V 1 .
In contrast, the exposure amount in the image area (this is E 2
) is set to zero, and the surface potential at that time is V 2
shall be. Therefore, if the development start potential is set to V 0 and set so that V 1 >V 0 , the non-image area will be developed along with the image. In short, the smaller E 1 is, the easier the non-image area is to be developed, and the more difficult it is to reproduce the image. By the way, as is clear from the above explanation, the exposure amount
Since E 1 is a value that varies depending on the spectral characteristics of the copying machine and the spectral reflectance of the non-image area, the relationship V 1 > V 0 is guaranteed for all commercially available types of copying machines for the same original. That doesn't mean it will happen. Assuming that the spectral characteristics of a copying machine are determined only by the spectral energy characteristics of the light source lamp, a copying machine whose light source is a fluorescent lamp with an emission line spectrum in the blue to green region will not be able to handle originals on red-toned paper. It is relatively difficult to reproduce this, but it is possible to reproduce it if it has a blue tone. By the way, in general, with electrophotographic copying machines, when the spectral reflectance of the image part of the original is set to zero, if the spectral reflectance of the non-image part is less than 30%, it is difficult to copy (that is, it is difficult to decipher the copy). has been experimentally confirmed. This means that when the spectral reflectance of the non-image area is 100%, the same result can be obtained even if the spectral reflectance of the image area is set to 70% or more. Therefore, if the original is subjected to some kind of processing to make the spectral reflectance of the image area 70% or more and is legible, it will satisfy the requirements as a copy-protected original. In view of the above circumstances, the present inventor has devised a manuscript that completely eliminates the problems of the prior art. That is, the present invention provides a document that cannot be copied using any type of copying machine and is readable. Thus, according to the invention, a manuscript sheet with an opacity of less than 70%, a material with an opacity of 70-98% adhered to the front side of said manuscript sheet, and a material with an opacity of 50% adhered to the back side of said manuscript sheet. A copy-protected manuscript is provided, characterized in that it consists of a material of at least %. The copy-protected original of the present invention will be explained below based on the drawings. A first embodiment of the copy-preventing original of the present invention, as shown in a cross-sectional view in FIG. The contrast with the non-image area is lowered, and the spectral reflectances of both areas are made closer to each other. In this case, by adhering the sheet 1 having an opacity of 70% or more according to JISP-8138, the difference in spectral reflectance between the image area and the non-image area can be suppressed to less than 30%, and a copy-protected original can be obtained. In this example, if the opacity of the original sheet is 70% or more, the purpose of preventing copying can be sufficiently achieved.
If the opacity of the original sheet is less than 70%, it is insufficient as a copy-protected original. This is because although it is impossible to copy from the side of the opaque material 1, it is possible to copy the characters of the original as a reverse image from the side of the original sheet 3. Therefore, the inventors of the present invention have created a second copy-preventing document with an opacity of 70 degrees on the upper surface of the document sheet 1, as shown in FIG.
By gluing the material sheet 1 of ~98% and gluing the material sheet 4 with an opacity of 50% or more to the back side of the original sheet 1, the opacity is such that the characters of the original can be seen through the back side of the original. To provide a document that can prevent copying of the front surface of the document and also prevent copying of the back surface of the document even in the case of a small document. In the present invention, it is not preferable if the opacity of the material sheet to be adhered onto the surface of the document exceeds 98%, since the document becomes difficult to read. Furthermore, considering the opacity of the original paper itself, it is usually sufficient to use a material sheet with an opacity of 50% or more for the material sheet to be adhered to the back side of the original. Opacity 70 to 98 used in the copy-protected manuscript of the present invention
% materials are described below, but are not limited to these examples. Wood-free paper, PPC paper, neutral paper, medium-quality paper, laminated paper, etc. with a basis weight of 52.3 g/m2 or more ; plastic film mixed with pigment, coated with pigment, or surface matte-treated, colored wood-free paper, non-woven paper , synthetic paper, thermal paper, electrostatic recording paper, etc. Furthermore, the method of adhering the opaque material and the manuscript is as follows:
Any method that does not allow easy separation of the original and the opaque material may be used, and is not particularly limited. For example, heat seal adhesive, polyethylene lamination, silicone resin, alkyd resin, SBR,
Epoxy-polyamide mixed resin, starch,
Examples include methods using adhesives such as casegin and rosin resin. The opacity defined by JISP-8138 is determined by backing a sheet (paper) with white and black standard plates and measuring the reflectance R 1 and R 2 of each using a green filter. , the ratio of the latter (R 2 ) to the former (R 1 ) expressed in % (ie, R 2 /R 1 ×100). Next, the anti-copy manuscript of the present invention will be described with reference to Examples and Comparative Examples. First, a method for manufacturing an example of an opaque material sheet will be described. Weight ratio of pulp: NBKP (softwood bleached kraft pulp): LBKP (hardwood bleached kraft pulp)
The pulp was beaten to a water content (CSF) of 450 ml, and the talc (or clay) content was 9-10%, and the pulp was made using a Fourdrinier paper machine to produce the following two types of opaque sheets. Opaque sheet: basis weight 43 g/m 2 , opacity 70.5% Opaque sheet: basis weight 38 g/m 2 , opacity 67.2% Example 1 Acrylic resin on one side of commercially available high-quality paper 52.3 g/m 2 (opacity 75.4%) An adhesive was applied and adhered to the surface of a manuscript sheet (72% opacity) to obtain a copy-protected manuscript. Example 2 Commercially available Toray Lumirror E20 100μ (opacity 73.1%)
A heat-sealing adhesive having the following composition: 100 parts by weight of Neorene HC, 2 parts by weight of non-staining anti-aging agent, 4 magnesia, 5 zinc white, 45 t-butylphenol resin, 644 toluene, was applied to one side of the manuscript sheet. A manuscript to prevent copying was obtained by heat-adhering the front and back sides of the paper (transparency: 82%). Example 3 Polystyrene resin adhesive was applied to one side of the opaque sheet described above, and a manuscript sheet (opacity 65%) was prepared.
Glued to the surface. Furthermore, a polystyrene resin adhesive was applied to one side of a commercially available Sanyo Kokusaku pulp No. 2 original drawing Delmina EX (opacity 51.5%) and adhered to the back side of the manuscript sheet to obtain a copy-protected manuscript. Example 4 A chloroprene rubber adhesive was applied to one side of commercially available colored wood-free paper 66 g/m 2 (opacity 81.6%) and adhered to the surface of a manuscript sheet (opacity 80.9%) to obtain a copy-protected manuscript. Comparative Example 1 A cellulose-based adhesive was applied to one side of the opaque sheet described above and adhered to the surface of a manuscript sheet (opacity 64%) to obtain a copy-protected manuscript for comparison. Comparative example 2 Commercially available Yamakuni pulp Dermina EX (opacity 51.5%)
PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) adhesive was applied to one side of the paper and adhered to the front and back sides of a manuscript sheet (opacity 51.5%) to obtain a copy-protected manuscript for comparison. The copy-protected manuscripts obtained in Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 2 were tested on four types of copying machines (Xerox 4500,
3207, 4600, 2670), the results of investigating the copy prevention performance from the front side and the copy prevention performance from the back side are summarized in the following table.
