(Structure of the Invention) The present invention improves the conventional tile so that
Regarding a decorative material that can obtain a cloud-shaped pattern or a stone-grain pattern that varies both in the width direction and in the flow direction, a heated softened sheet containing a base material and a coloring material is slitted on the surface, and is held at an angle of 90 degrees to the slit. The gist is a decorative material having a pattern obtained by rolling in the direction of. The present invention will be explained below based on the drawings.

A slit is made in the obtained sheet 4. The device for making the slits is one in which a large number of knife-shaped steel plates 5 are provided on the surface of a roll 6 or on one side of a flat plate, and the sheet 4 is pressed with these. Knife-shaped steel plate 5
By appropriately selecting the slits, slits of any shape and spacing can be formed.

The sheet material is required to be substantially heated and softened when the slits are made. For this reason, if necessary, heat it with a heater just before making the slit. The heat-softened state is a state in which incisions can be easily made and softness can be maintained without causing any trouble in creating a sheet during calender processing in the subsequent process.

In the sheet 4 of the present invention, a pattern material may be formed in the base material, or a pattern material layer with a uniform thickness may be formed below the base material, but in this case, the pattern material layer Make the slit reach up to.
After making slits in the sheet, use a turntable to
Make a 90 degree turn. In this case, as shown in FIG. 2, a slit 12 is provided in the sheet (the part 13 surrounded by the dotted line is the internal pattern material).
This is turned 90 degrees on turntable 7 and rolled in direction A by calender rolls.

After kneading, the pellets were kneaded to a thickness of 20 mm so that the pellets were evenly distributed, and a roll with a knife-shaped steel plate formed around the above structure with a surface temperature of 165°C was rolled to a thickness of 1/4 or more of the thickness of the sheet. After making slits to a certain depth, the slitted sheet was turned 90 degrees on a turntable and rolled with three rolls heated to 160°C to obtain a 2 mm cloud-shaped sheet. This sheet was punched out into squares of approximately 30 cm on each side to obtain floor tiles.
