Generally, in this type of device, the circuit inside the probe is made smaller in order to make the part called the probe (hereinafter referred to as the probe) that can be held in the hand during treatment and freely move to the area requiring treatment. The reduced and deleted circuits were moved to the control section of the main unit.

性がよいとは言えなかつた。 For this reason, for example, as in the laser irradiation device shown in the block diagram in Figure 2, there are many connection wires connecting the probe and the main body, and even if the probe is made smaller and lighter, the connection cord is thick and heavy, which does not necessarily improve operability. I couldn't say that.

By incorporating a built-in circuit and simplifying the circuit by replacing it with typical settings based on the results of treatment tests, the number of connecting wires connecting the probe and the main body is minimized, and the weight is reduced. An object of the present invention is to provide a laser irradiation device with improved probe operability.

The present invention has achieved the above object by providing a laser irradiation device that includes a laser diode for emitting laser light, an output control means for controlling the light emitting output, an output setting means for setting the output, an operation switch for starting laser irradiation, and a laser diode for emitting laser light at a certain time. This is attempted to be achieved by a laser irradiation device comprising a probe section including a timer means for stopping irradiation, a power supply section, and a power supply connection cord for connecting the two.

2 is a constant voltage power supply that stabilizes the low voltage of the power supply 1 and allows the electronic circuit built in the probe 8 to operate normally; and the constant voltage power supply 2 is used by the operation amplifier inside the probe 8, which requires two power supplies. Sometimes two power sources can be created from one power source.
Furthermore, the constant voltage power supply 2 can also be built into the power supply 1.

である。 The output control means 3 is a circuit for making the output of the laser diode 7, which is a light emitting section, constant, and is always necessary when controlling the laser diode. This is because the laser diode output changes depending on the temperature, so the output control means 3 detects the laser output monitor signal 15 and controls the laser diode to keep the output constant. Further, a signal proportional to the value of the laser output is also generated in the laser output monitor signal 15. Furthermore, the monitor signal is also supplied to the timer means 11, which detects that the laser has been irradiated, starts the timer, and when the laser is irradiated for a certain period of time, the timer means 11 times up and sends a signal to the output control means 3 to stop the laser irradiation. let The output setting means 4 is a setting section that sets the output of the laser diode 7. Reference numeral 6 denotes an operation switch, which is manually turned on when it is desired to irradiate a laser beam, and the signal is supplied to the output control means 3 to operate the laser diode 7. Reference numeral 5 denotes a skin detection means, which is provided with a sensor near the tip opening (not shown) of the probe 8, detects that the skin is in contact with the opening of the probe 8, and transmits the signal to a laser diode via a driver. 7 or output control means 3 so that laser irradiation is possible only when the skin is in contact with the opening. This is a safety device to prevent the laser beam from being emitted unnecessarily.

There is no need to hold down the operation switch. This makes operation easier during treatment and reduces finger fatigue. By configuring as described above, the number of wires extending from the probe 8 to the outside is minimized, that is, only the power supply line, the resistance of the connection cord is small, and the operability of the probe 8 is improved.

This invention has been achieved.
