Description

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention is used in the technical field of a floor polisher (polisher) for polishing a floor by rotating a pad (buff) at high speed with a motor while an operator manually pushes the operating handle to run the pad. More specifically, the present invention relates to a floor polisher having a wax coating function devised so as to polish the floor surface with a pad while coating the floor surface with wax or other treatment agent.
【0002】[0002]
When polishing the floor using a floor polisher, first apply an appropriate amount of wax to the floor using a tool such as a spray or coating roller, and then polish with a floor polisher. However, it is very troublesome and troublesome to apply the wax to the floor surface by hand separately from the operation of the floor polishing machine in this way.
Therefore, conventionally, as shown in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-28667 or Japanese Utility Model Application No. 61-183205 (Japanese Utility Model Application No. Sho 63-88262), a wax solution is applied to a floor polisher. It was equipped with a tank in which the wax was sprayed from the tank and the floor was polished with a pad.
【0004】[0004]
However, in the conventional floor polisher described above, the required amount of wax is sprayed onto the floor surface while adjusting the flow rate based on the operator's cock operation and the pressure of the pump or its own weight. When it was desired to apply a stable amount of a small amount of wax, the adjustment was extremely difficult and there was the problem that the wax could not be applied to the floor surface as desired.
That is, when adjusting the flow rate of wax using a cock, if the cock is over-squeezed, the wax will not come out and the wax cannot be polished, and if the cock is opened too much, the flow rate will increase. A large amount of wax is applied to the floor surface, and the result is that the floor surface becomes sticky or slippery with wax, making adjustments extremely difficult. Wax also adheres, which solidifies over time and deteriorates the function of the pad, which may hinder the polishing of the floor and in some cases damage the floor during rotation. There were many problems.
In addition, in the case of the above tank type, it is necessary to always check the remaining amount of the wax liquid, and it is also necessary to always keep in mind the maintenance of the wax supply process including a supply pipe, a valve, etc. Maintenance and management of was very troublesome.
Therefore, the technical problem of the present invention is to make it possible to apply the required amount of wax to the floor surface by an extremely simple method, reduce the maintenance load related to the supply of wax, and use it easily. The purpose is to provide a floor polisher equipped with such a devised wax application function.
【0008】[0008]
Means taken in the present invention to solve the above technical problems are as follows. In the floor polisher, which presses the operation handle to run the pad and rotates the pad at high speed with a motor to polish the floor surface,
(1) A rotating arm having a wax roller impregnated with wax at the tip is attached to the front portion of the pad cover that covers the upper surface of the pad so as to be vertically rotatable with respect to the floor surface. The moving arm is always placed under the elastic action of a spring that rotates in the direction of pulling it up from the floor, and when the operation handle is rotated, the rotating arm is lowered against the elasticity of the spring. Install an operating lever that can be rotated to bring the wax roller into contact with the floor.
(2) A rotating plate is attached to a bracket provided on the front surface of the pad cover so as to be vertically rotatable, and a spring for constantly pulling the rotating plate upward and rotating it, and an operating handle. Attach a wire that transmits the turning force of the operating lever attached to the rotating plate to the rotating plate.Furthermore, on this rotating plate, the root end of the rotating arm to which the wax roller is attached is axially and vertically arranged. It is slidably and rotatably mounted, and a compression spring that elastically urges the root end in the axial direction is interposed between the root end and the rotating plate. The upper and lower two-stage locking portions are provided to lock the above-mentioned non-use position, which is rotated upward by receiving the elastic force of the compression spring, and the use position, which is rotated downward, respectively.
(3) A wax roller impregnated with wax is rotatably and rotatably attached to the tip of the rotating arm.
(4) Instead of the wax roller impregnated with wax, a treatment roller impregnated with various treatment agents such as detergent, sterilizer or sterilizer can be attached to the tip of the rotating arm. To configure.
【0013】[0013]
The above means operate as follows. According to the above-mentioned means (1), by rotating the operation lever, the wax roller impregnated with the wax can be brought into contact with the floor surface so as to hit the wax roller, and the wax can be applied. When the dynamic operation is released, the wax roller is pulled up and rotated by the pulling force of the spring, so that by rotating the operation lever repeatedly at an appropriate interval while operating the floor polisher. The wax can be applied to the floor surface as desired, and the contact force of the wax roller to the floor surface can be increased or decreased by increasing or decreasing the turning operation of the operating lever. Since the amount can be adjusted, the application amount can be freely adjusted according to the condition of the floor surface, and there is no need for maintenance related to the supply of wax. That enables it to exhibit excellent polishing effect by using easily.
According to the above-mentioned means (2), if the rotating arm to which the wax roller is attached is engaged with the lower locking portion of the rotating plate, the operation lever is rotated and the spring is pulled up. The wax roller can be repeatedly applied to the floor surface to apply wax, and when this rotating arm is engaged with the upper locking part of the rotating plate, the wax roller can be rotated even if the operating lever is operated. Since it does not touch the floor surface, it is convenient when you only need to polish the floor surface by rotating the pad without applying wax, or when you simply move the floor surface polishing machine. It makes it possible to change the state extremely easily according to the situation.
According to the above-mentioned means (3), the amount of the wax impregnated in the wax roller is reduced due to repeated use and the application is hindered. Therefore, the wax roller should be replaced with a new one. In addition to making it possible, it is possible to prevent the wax from being dried and prevent wasteful consumption of the wax by removing the wax and storing it when it is not needed.
According to the above means (4), by using a treatment roller impregnated with various treatment agents instead of the wax roller, the floor surface is washed with a pad, or the floor surface is sterilized or sterilized. It is possible to perform various kinds of processing. As described above, the technical problems described above can be solved by the above means, and the problems of the conventional technology can be solved.

It is designed to be in contact with the floor surface and apply wax. In FIG. 6, 8c is a mounting opening for the operation lever 8b which is opened on the side surface of the operation box 8.
Since the floor polisher having the wax coating function according to the present invention has the above-described configuration, when the floor is polished while applying the wax, first, the rotating arm 19 is moved to the position shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 4, the locking portion 15a of the lower locking plate 15 provided on the front edge of the rotating plate 13 is engaged by the elasticity of the compression spring 21, and then the motor M is started to move the pad 3 While rotating and polishing the floor surface, if the rotating portion 26a of the operating lever 26 provided at the hand of the operating handle 7 is pushed with a fingertip to perform a rotating operation, the wire 18 is pulled and the rotating plate 13 causes the spring 17 to move. Since it rotates in the clockwise direction in FIG. 2 while extending, the wax roller 22 attached to the tip of the rotating arm 19 can come into contact with the floor so that the wax can be applied, and therefore the wax can be applied. , Of this operation lever 26 If the body 1 is pushed in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 1 while repeating the rotating operation, the pad 3 can polish the floor surface coated with wax to finish the floor surface cleanly.
When the wax is not applied by the wax roller 22 and only the polishing is performed by the pad 3, or when the machine body 1 is simply moved, the rotating arm 19 is rotated upward. If the elastic force of the compression spring 21 engages with the locking portion 16a of the upper locking plate 16 provided on the ceiling of the rotating plate 13 as shown by the solid line in FIG. 1 or the phantom line in FIG. Even if the movable arm 19 is held upright and the operating lever 26 is rotated, the wax roller 22 cannot be brought into contact with the floor surface. This prevents wasteful application of wax and also prevents the wax roller from being applied. The aircraft 1 can be moved without being disturbed by 22.
Further, the wax roller 22 can be freely attached to and detached from the tip end portion 19a of the rotating arm 19, and the wax roller 22 may be replaced with a detergent, a sterilizing agent, or a sterilizing agent. It is also possible to mount a processing roller (not shown) impregnated with various processing agents on the rotating arm 19 and perform surface treatment with the pad 3 while applying these processing agents to the floor surface.
【0026】[0026]
As described above, according to the floor polisher equipped with the wax coating function according to the present invention, it is possible to rotate the operation lever provided near the operation handle to operate the wax or other treatment on the floor. Since the floor surface can be polished while applying the agent, the labor can be greatly reduced compared to the case of applying with a conventional spray or roller, and the wax solution is put in a tank and sprayed. Unlike conventional devices, it is possible to apply the desired amount of wax or processing agent to the desired place by rotating the operation lever and the interval and strength of the rotation without paying attention to the maintenance of the supply path. The practical effect is extremely high in combination with the advantage that the wax and the treating agent can be used in an economical manner.
